Abstract

The study was a quasi-experimental research with the entire population of junior high school students in grade VII Bina Mulya Belfast school year 2011/2012.  Study sample is a class VII A and VII C are taken by using Random Sampling  Purposive techniques. The purpose of this study to determine whether the type of cooperative learning model TPSeffective when applied to teaching junior high  math class VII student Bina Mulya Belfast Lessons Year 2011/2012 when compa-red to conventional learning. The results showedthat the TPS type of cooperative learning effectively applied to improve student learning outcomes.Keywords: Cooperative TPS, and Learning Outcomes

Abstract

The rapid advancements in Information Technology (IT) have significantly impacted the provision of public services, including at the village level. This study focuses on the implementation of the Village Management Information System (SIMANDE) in Mulya Kencana Village, aimed at improving public service efficiency. SIMANDE enables residents to apply for certifications online, eliminating the need for direct visits to the village office. Village administrators also benefit from the efficient dissemination of information. The research employed the Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology, with MySQL as the database to ensure data security and integrity. The results show highly positive user responses, indicating that SIMANDE significantly improves public service efficiency and accessibility. This study concludes that the integration of SIMANDE is a key step toward digital transformation in village-level public services, providing substantial benefits to both residents and village officials.

Abstract

Education serves as a means to shape an intelligent and character-driven generation, signifying its crucial role in creating and enhancing the quality of human resources. However, in reality, lecturers have not differentiated projects or products based on students' learning styles, be it visual, auditory, or kinesthetic. This indicates a lack of implementation of differentiated learning by the lecturers. This research aims to: (1) Analyze the teaching strategies applied by lecturers while teaching in the Information Technology Education Program (PTI); (2) Analyze the types of final projects or products given by lecturers during teaching in the PTI courses; (3) Analyze the factors causing lecturers not to provide projects or products based on students' learning styles. The research design is descriptive qualitative. The population consists of students in the Information Technology Education Program (PTI) at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) at the University of Lampung. The sample for this study includes PTI students taking the Digital Circuit course in the Academic Year 2022-2023. To address the research questions, qualitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. Learning style test data were presented as frequencies and percentages. Data from interviews were then described. Findings from the learning style tests were triangulated with the interview data. Based on the conducted research, it is evident that students with a visual learning style tend to produce projects or products in the form of PowerPoint presentations or posters. On the other hand, students with an auditory learning style tend to create projects or products in the form of podcasts. In contrast, students with a kinesthetic learning style tend to generate projects or products in the form of videos. Kata kunci: Gaya Belajar, Pembelajaran Berdiferensiasi, Pendidikan Teknologi Informasi

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research is to develop a model of mathematics learning assessment based on Round Table and Peer Tutor. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) research conducted at the Mathematics Education Study Program, University of Lampung. This research is a Research & Development (R&D) and involves 30 students as test subjects. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and observations. The results of this study obtained a mathematical learning assessment model based on the Round Table and Peer Tutor. The results of this study obtained an assessment model that combines a Round Table with peer tutors that can be used by teachers to detect student weaknesses in certain concepts and at the same time corrective steps can be taken by fellow students themselves. Hasil penelitian ini mendapatkan model asesmen yang mengkombinasikan round table dengan tutor sebaya yang dapat digunakan oleh guru untuk mendeteksi kelemahan siswa pada konsep tertentu dan saat bersamaan langkah perbaikannya dapat dilakukan oleh sesama siswa itu sendiri. Abstract

High School Mathematics Teacher’s Ability in in Developing Instruments of Mathematical Literacy Test: Study in Lampung Timur Regency. This study aims to describe the ability of high school mathematics teachers in East Lampung Regency in developing instruments of mathematical literacy test. This research is a descriptive study with 19 respondents of high school mathematics teachers. The research data were obtained through test, performance test and questionnaires. Data analyzed using data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results showed that: a) 63.16% teachers only able to create routine problem which measure employing stage in mathematical process; b) male teachers with more than 25 years teaching experience are only able to develop 5.26% mathematical problems which measure formulating stage; c) Reasoning and argument is the fundamental mathematics skills that was rarely measured in the developed instrument; d) using symbolic, formal and technical language and operations is the most frequently skills that is measured in the developed instrument. Keywords: mathematical literacy instrument, high school teacher, descriptive research. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpmipa/v21i1.pp35-48
