Abstract

The elderly are very susceptible to health problems, including depression caused by stress in the face of life changes such as retirement, illness or physical disability, placement in nursing homes, partner deaths, and the need to care for couples whose health is declining. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of the incidence of depression in elderly at Dharma Bhakti Surakarta nursing homes. This research was descriptive research. The study was conducted in May - July 2019. The population of this research was the elderly who are in Dharma Bhakti Surakarta nursing homes. Sampling used total sampling and obtained a sample of 73 respondents. Data collection techniques were carried out through filling the Geriatric Depression Scale-30 questionnaire. The results showed that most of the elderly (65.8%) did not experience depression. As many as 30.1% of respondents experienced mild depression and 4.1% experienced severe depression. Most respondents who were depressed were aged 60-74 years (15 elderly), female (18 elderly), had a history of working as a laborer (9 elderly), not graduating from elementary school (13 elderly), being widowed (12 elderly), and has independent functional abilities (20 elderly). Conclusion: The incidence of depression in Surakarta Wedha Dharma Bhakti Orphanage reached 34% (as many as 25 elderly from 73 respondents).

Abstract

Social support into a thing that plays an important role for people that are convicted of a positive COVID-19. Anxiety is one of the psychosocial problems experienced by people who tested positive for COVID-19. This Study was to determine the relationship between social support with anxiety patients with covid-19 in undergoing the isolation of the self. A cross-sectional study. The population in this study were patients with covid-19 who underwent isolation of the self in Kecamatan Karanganyar, with a total sample of 74. Analysis of data using univariate Analysis with frequency distribution and bivariate tests provided by kendall's Tau-C. The analysis of research results showed that most respondents get high social support (70.7%) and experiencing mild anxiety (61.3%). There is a significant relationship between social support with anxiety patients with covid-19 in undergoing the isolation of the self in the district of Karanganyar.

Abstract

Tanah longsor merupakan bencana yang paling umum terjadi di Kabupaten Karanganyar. Berada dilereng gunung lawu dan berbukit, curah hujan yang tinggi memicu resiko bencana tanah longsor. Tingkat resiko bencana ditentukan oleh potensi bencana dan kesiapsiagaan dalam menghadapi bencana. Lokasi SMPN 04 Jatiyoso berada pada lingkungan yang terjal sehingga beresiko terjadinya bencana tanah longsor. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui  pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan menggunakan media audiovisual animasi dan simulasi terhadap kesiapsiagaan menghadapi bencana tanah longsor di SMPN 04 Jatiyoso. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan rancangan pre-test post-test with control grup. Sampel berjumlah 54 responden dengan menggunakan teknik stratified random sampling. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan checklist kesiapsiagaan. Teknik analisa data yang digunakan yaitu Mann Whitney. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai p 0,000 (p ‹ 0,05). Sehingga dapat ditarik kesimpulan ada pengaruh yang signifikan pendidikan kesehatan dan simulasi terhadap kesiapsiagaan bencana tanah longsor.Kata kunci : pendidikan kesehatan, kesiapsiagaan bencana, tanah longsor
