Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui komposisi pupuk kotoran ternak sapi dan tanah pada media polibag terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman bawang merah Varietas Bima Brebes. Dilakukan di Kebun Percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Winaya Mukti, Kecamatan Tanjungsari, Kabupaten Sumedang pada ketinggian 864 meter di atas permukaan laut, pada polibag pada tanah Andisol. Artikel ini mempelajari perbandingan pupuk kotoran ternak dan tanah yang baik, mengetahui hasil dari masing masing perbandingan pupuk kotoran ternak dan tanah, dan mempelajari pengaruh setiap perbandingan terhadap petumbuhan dan produksi bawang merah (Allium Ascalonicum L.). Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan adalah RAK (Rancangan Acak Kelompok) sederhana yang terdiri dari 4 perlakuan dan 6 ulangan yang terjadi antara pupuk kotoran ternak sapi dan tanah dengan taraf yaitu A (tanah), B (1:3), C (2:2) dan D (3:1). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan D pupuk kotoran ternak sapi dan tanah (3:1) mampu meningkatkan rata rata tinggi tanaman sebesar 57,8%, jumlah daun sebesar 52,1%, jumlah umbi 58,3%, bobot umbi 183,5% bila dibanding dengan perlakuan kontrol.

Abstract

Child malnutrition is a serious problem involving complex factors in various countries. The level of the economy in a country is one of the factors that influences the occurrence of this problem. Using data obtained from the data UNICEF site on Child Malnutrition, this study involved processing the data to create a data visualization in the form of a dashboard. This dashboard is able to provide information on the prevalence of child malnutrition and its geographic distribution patterns in the Asian region by utilizing the Looker Studio platform. In addition, this study was also conducted to analyze the effect of state income classification on the percentage of child malnutrition that occurs. The use of the ANOVA analysis method in this study is the basis for answering research questions related to analysis. The stages carried out in this study were Data Collection, Data Preprocessing, data analysis using the ANOVA method, and data visualization. The result of this study is a data visualization in the form of an informative dashboard, as well as the results of the analysis showing that there is a significant effect of the classification of state income on the percentage of child malnutrition in that country. This study provides important insights into the problem of child malnutrition in Asia in a visual form and provides results of statistical significance, indicating that there is a significant relationship or influence between the classification of national income and the percentage of child malnutrition that occurs in that country, not just a coincidence.

Abstract

The results of an initial survey conducted by the team found that the Darul Mukhlasin Palas Islamic Boarding School in Pekanbaru is for the continuation of the learning process and to meet their daily consumption needs without charging any fees. This Islamic boarding school has a large land of around ±0.5 ha which has the potential to be developed, through increasing food self-sufficiency. The strategy for realizing food self-sufficiency is the development of food diversification. This problem is needed to solve, including: providing partners with training in plant cultivation skills, processing unproductive land into productive land for crop cultivation. The method of implementation includes the provision of materials and the practice of cultivating agricultural crops, mentoring. For the sustainability of this program the PKM team will carry out: Monitoring and Evaluation of program implementation. The results of the training participants' questionnaire above show that the participants' knowledge about plant cultivation has increased, knowledge about the benefits of plant cultivation which may have been considered not so important for human life has increased their knowledge of the benefits of cultivating plants both economically and environmentally. The results of the questionnaire showed that in terms of the benefits of the activities carried out, it was shown that the results of the pre-test questionnaire showed that 100% of participants stated that the activities carried out were useful. In principle, in terms of supporting factors, related parties, both partners and participants, gave a very good response. Capacity building in the technical aspects of agriculture is one of the principles of economic empowerment, including students at Islamic boarding schools.Keywords: food security, boarding school, plant cultivation
