Abstract

This study aims to determine the Government's Strategy in Improving the Quality of Human Resources in the Young Generation of Compong Village, Pitu Riase District, Sidenreng Rappang Regency by using qualitative descriptive research and using data collection techniques, namely interviews, observations, and documents. The results showed that the strategy carried out by the government, especially in the village of Compong, was still lacking in terms of increasing human resources, especially for the younger generation in the village. There are still many young people in the village of Compong who need more support from village government officials, especially from the village head himself. The village head must play an important role in improving the quality of the younger generation, the younger generation cannot develop if the village officials, especially the village head, have not been able to master the things that are important for the young generation in the village of Compong. There are many ways that can be done or used as a strategy for the village government if the village apparatus is able to explore what is the obstacle for the younger generation so that they have not been able to help the village apparatus in improving the good name of the village.

Abstract

The study's goal was to see if using think-pair-share to enhance students’ vocabulary mastery was beneficial. The pre-experimental approach was used in this study. MA YMPI Rappang's population was in its second year. The total number of pupils in the population was 65 (XI IPA=19, XI IPS 1= 24, XI IPS 2 = 22), and one class was chosen as a sample using cluster random sampling. This class had a total of 24 students (XI IPS 1). The vocabulary test was the tool employed in this study. The findings of this research revealed that the pre-test received a mean score of 25.91, while the post-test received a mean score of 60.00. This revealed that the pre-test and post-test scores differed significantly. The t-test value (15.112) was higher than the t-table value (2.069). This signifies that HO was turned down and H1 was chosen. The study found that teaching vocabulary utilizing the think-pair-share method helps improve students' vocabulary knowledge among MA YMPI Rappang second-year students.

Abstract

The scarcity of subsidized fertilizer remains a significant challenge in the rice farming sector in Indonesia, including in Maritengngae District, Sidenreng Rappang Regency. This study aims to analyze the distribution conditions of subsidized fertilizer, identify obstacles in supply chain management, and formulate effective strategies to ensure its sustainable availability. A descriptive qualitative method was employed, with data collected through in-depth interviews, field observations, and documentation. Informants consisted of farmers, fertilizer distributors, agricultural extension officers, and officials from the Department of Agriculture. The collected data were analyzed thematically and supported by NVivo 12 Pro software to identify the frequency of emerging themes and the relationships between key factors contributing to fertilizer shortages. The findings reveal that although the local availability of fertilizer has relatively improved, major issues such as delayed deliveries, weak coordination between farmer groups and distributors, and climate-related challenges continue to affect the effectiveness of distribution. Recommended strategies include strengthening stakeholder collaboration, optimizing digital information systems, and adjusting distribution policies to be more responsive to local needs.
