Abstract

Industri rumah tangga usaha minyak Kelapa (Cocos nucifera) adalah salah satuindustri yang mampu membuka akses bagi pelaku usaha minyak kelapa tradisional,membuka lapangan kerja. Bagi pelaku usaha analisis usaha memberikan bantuanuntuk mengukur apakah kegiatan usahanya pada saat ini berhasil atau tidak. Tujuanpenelitian ini adalah 1) Untuk mengetahui besarnya penggunaan biaya produksiusaha industri rumah tangga minyak kelapa tradisional di Kecamatan PatilanggioKabupaten Pohuwato 2) Untuk mengetahui tingkat keuntungan usaha industrirumah tangga minyak kelapa tradisional di Kecamatan Patilanggio KabupatenPohuwato 3) untuk mengetahui kelayakan usaha industri rumah tangga minyakkelapa trdisional di Kecamatan Patilanggio Kabupaten Pohuwato. Penelitian inimenggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei, Penarikan sampelsecara sengaja (Purposive sampling), pada usaha industri rumah tangga pengolahanminyak kelapa tradisional yang aktif beroperasi, sebanyak 3 industri. Penelitian inidilaksanakan di Kecamatan Patilanggio Kabupaten Pohuwato Provinsi Gorontalo.Analisis data yang digunakan, pendapatan, kelayakan dan titik impas. Hasilpenelitian menujukan 1) Biaya produksi pada usaha industri rumah tangga minyakkelapa tradisional dalam satu liter Rp 11.395,00, 2) Usaha industri rumah tanggaminyak kelapa tradisional menguntungkan dan layak untuk dikembangkan, 3)Usaha industri rumah tangga minyak kelapa tradisional pada BEP penerimaan, BEPproduksi dan harga tidak mengalami titik impas atau pulang pokok.Kata Kunci: Minyak kelapa Tradisional, Usaha, Industri Rumah Tangga

Abstract

Plant growth regulators are organic or synthetic compounds that function to regulate and stimulate plant growth, both in the vegetative and generative phases. The administration of plant growth regulators (PGRs) is an effort to provide hormones to plants for optimal growth. The purpose of this study was to determine the growth and yield of expired corn (Zea mays L.) plants after the administration of various plant growth regulators. The research using a randomized block design consisted of 10 treatments where treatment A = new seeds + Aquades, B = new seeds + 500 cc / L ZPT bean sprout extract, C = new seeds + 500cc / L ZPT young coconut water, D = new seeds + 0.2 cc / L Auxin, E = new seeds + 0.2 cc / L Gibberellin, F = expired seeds + Aquades, G = expired seeds + 500 cc / L ZPT bean sprout extract, H = expired seeds + 500 cc / L young coconut water, I = expired seeds + 0.2 cc / L Auxin, J = expired seeds + 0.2 cc / l Gibberellin. Each treatment was repeated 3 times, until 30 experimental units were obtained. Based on the results of the study, the highest plants were found in treatment I = expired seeds + 0.2 cc / L auxin at plant age 6 MST with an average of 257,667. The observation of the highest number of leaves was found in treatment I = expired seeds + 0.2 cc / L auxin at plant age 6 MST with an average of 14,530 strands, the best stem diameter was in treatment F = expired seeds + Aquades, at plant age 5 MST with an average stem diameter of 28,733, observations on the weight of the cob with husk and the best weight of the cob without husk were found in treatment F = expired seeds + Aquades with an average of 287,200 grams, and 251,533 grams, observations on the length of the best cob in treatment F = expired seeds + Aquades with an average length of 19,900 cm.

Abstract

The use of medicinal plants has been an important part of people's lives since the time of our ancestors. Before the advent of modern medicine, people used various types of plants to treat mild to severe illnesses, such as fever, cough, wounds, digestive disorders, and skin diseases. Inventory of medicinal plants plays a very important role in exploring the potential of existing natural resources, especially as an effort to support the development of traditional medicine. The purpose of this study is to identify the types of medicinal plants used by local communities in traditional medicine. The method used in this study is a descriptive method through direct surveys at the research location. The findings obtained in the field concluded that all types of plants mentioned in this study are very beneficial for the people of Duhiadaa District, because they can help in treating various types of diseases experienced by the community. The types of diseases that can be treated include hypertension, gout, stomach acid, cholesterol, kidney disease, diabetes, inflammation, cancer, wounds, diarrhea and digestive disorders.

Abstract

Training on making eco enzymes is a strategic step to overcome the problem of organic waste in Sipayo Village. Eco enzyme, the result of fermenting organic waste with sugar and water, has various benefits, including as a natural cleaner, liquid fertilizer, and pest control agent. This program aims to increase public awareness of the importance of managing organic waste while empowering them to create products with high utility value.Training activities involve educational processes, direct practice and mentoring involving various community groups, from housewives to village youth. The evaluation results showed that the participants understood the techniques for making eco enzyme and its benefits. Apart from that, this training also has a positive impact on reducing the volume of organic waste in the village, improving environmental cleanliness, and opening up eco enzyme-based business opportunities. Through this participatory approach, it is hoped that Sipayo Village can become an example of effective and sustainable organic waste management. Training on making eco enzymes not only solves environmental problems, but also strengthens collective awareness of the importance of protecting village ecosystems holistically.

Abstract

This community service activity was carried out in Iloheluma Village, Patilanggio District, Pohuwato Regency, Gorontalo, aiming to enhance farmers’ knowledge and skills in utilizing local resources particularly Gliricidia sepium leaves as raw material for producing liquid organic fertilizer (LOF). The program employed counseling, hands-on training, and mentoring methods during the preparation and application of LOF in agricultural fields. The results indicated a significant improvement in participants’ understanding of organic farming concepts and their ability to independently produce and apply LOF. Moreover, the use of G. sepium leaves proved to be efficient, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly, offering a sustainable alternative to chemical fertilizers. This program is expected to strengthen farmers’ self-reliance in organic fertilizer production and promote the sustainability of local agricultural systems.
