Abstract

Peran pesantren telah lama diakui oleh masyarakat, demikian halnya dengan madrasah dan sekolah Islam misalnya tentang peradaban. Kepiawaian pesantren, madrasah dan sekolah Islam dalam memformulakan pemahaman dan pemikirannya sehingga melahirkan kultur yang mengadabkan manusia adalah potensi riil pesantren, madrasah dan sekolah Islam. Di era global kepiawaian, kultur dan peran strategis itu harus menjadi lebih dimunculkan, atau dituntut untuk dilahirkan kembali. Pesantren, madrasah dan sekolah Islam mempunyai reputasi tersendiri sebagai lembaga yang bercirikan agama Islam. Pertama, sebagai lembaga pendidikan. Kedua, sebagai lembaga lembaga sosial kemasyarakatan. Sebagai lembaga pendidikan karena pesantren madrasah dan sekolah Islam umumnya menyelenggarakan pendidikan. Bahkan karena memiliki ciri khusus yang membedakannya dengan penyelenggaraan pendidikan lain. Sebagai lembaga sosial kemasyarakatan dibuktikan dengan diharapkannya kehadiran pesantren, madrasah dan sekolah Islam dalam masyarakat. Kehadiran di sini dimaksudkan dalam rangka changing and developing masyarakat. Pesantren, madrasah dan sekolah Islam di sini dianggap sebagai lambang permanensies seorang kiyai di komunitas, atau daerah tertentu. Di bidang ini pesantren, madrasah dan sekolah Islam sangat dikagumi karena pandai merubah perilaku masyarakat, memotivasi, atau melakukan perubahan-perubahan terhadapnya sekalipun terdapat keluhan akan adanya pesantren yang bersifat eklusif, tertutup dengan masyarakat lingkungannya, namun umumnya masyarakat sekitar pesantren mengalami perkembangan yang lebih baik dari sebelumnya.Kata kunci : peran, pesantren, madrasah, dan sekolah Islam.

Abstract

The current paper aims at studying the implementation of quality assurance program at Madrasah Aliyah Sunan Pandanaran (MASPA) Sardonoharjo Ngaglik Sleman DIY. The quality assurance program run by MASPA is designed to give feedback to improve its academic quality. The subjects of the research are teachers and MASPA head of school. Using qualitative approach with observation and in-depth interview as data collection method, this study found that there is a moderate improvement on academic culture at MASPA, particularly on: 1) student presence level increases ?” 90%; 2) the increase of Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) fulfillment; 3) teachers presence level increases e” 90%; and d) better percentage of study completion of student.

Abstract

Study of process is never effective to build and develop of whole personal if teacher/lecture as central actor loss their gezag or dignity of educator. It happens because today we have a new paradigm as we called material oriented. To re-actualization the teacher dignity it should be needed: (I) a leading's teacher as best example (uswatun hasanah) perfectly, (2) increasing teacher's salary, could make teacher more confidence about his or her status, (3) supporting from society perfectly.Key Word: The teacher dignity, Islamic Higher education

Abstract

Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) dan budi pekerti dilakukan dengan adanya interaksi antaraguru, peserta didik, dan lingkungan yang melibatkan berbagai komponen pembelajaran yang telah didesain dan disediakan untuk proses pembelajaran. Oleh sebab itu, guru PAI dan Budi Pekerti diharapkan mampu mengelola berbagai komponen pembelajaran dalam rangka mencapai tujuan pembelajaran dengan multi pendekatan dan metode yang efektif dan tepat gun, salah satunya dengan adanya integrasi dan interkoneksi domain kognitif, efktif, dan psikomorik serta multi bidang studi dan matapelajaran. Selain itu, adanya solusi terhadap problem yang dihadapi PAI antara lain masih ditemukan sebutan istilah PAI dan PI di beberapa Lembaga Pendidikan yang belum disiapkan konsep baku yang tervalidasi oleh Lembaga yang berwenang. Di samping adanya sebutan siswa dengan istilah peserta didik yang mengakibatkan sebagian besar siswa “pasif” berbeda dengan siswa sebagai subyek didik yang dibakukan secara legal formal dengan strategi pendekatan penjaminan mutu berbasis plan do chek and action (PDCA).

Abstract

Character education is getting the most attention from formal schools in Indonesia after the government announced that it is important to build the younger generation’s character. The character development is very important because many crimes are committed by high school students such as fighting, drug abuse, and motor-gang fights. This study aims to describe the implementation of character education in Madrasah Aliyah Sunan Pandanaran, which is a boarding school under Pondok Pesantren Pandanaran, and design character-education patterns suitable for MASPA. Descriptive qualitative research design was implemented by interviewing teachers and management staff at MASPA and observing the implementation of character education in MASPA. The results showed that 1) MASPA has been implementing character education in the 9 main character values namely religious character, honesty, tolerance, discipline, hard work, self-reliance, self-confidence, responsibility, and patriotism. 2) the implementation of character education is integrated with the regulations at Pondok Pesantren Sunan Pandanaran. Each character is developed with different activities. Some of the activities that are required leads in sanctions if it is not carried out by learners or students. 3) The suitable character education model for students of Madrasah Aliyah Sunan Pandanaran is by example. Nonetheless, implementation guide should be recorded so that it can still be implemented under different management. A design of good character education is also presented for MASPA.

Abstract

Conventional face-to-face or offline learning is considered outdated for students in today's digital era. However, online learning, which is considered new and meets nowadays learning, still lacks practice. This research is aimed to provide a solution for combining online and offline teaching; at the same time, to offer an approach to develop students’ piety. The proposed innovation is to apply blended learning. This method emphasizes students’ active roles in their learning. Digital devices used include YouTube, Google Classroom, and Interactive Mentimeter. The methods used in this research were classroom action research and literature studies. The learning model used was flipped Classroom; offline meetings used textbooks, and online lectures used online videos. The main objective is to link blended learning media with the development of piety among the Chemical Analysis department students. The results indicate that collaborative and contextual learning meet students’ needs in developing piety. In conclusion, blended learning also helps students to formulate their contributions to Islamic civilization in the future.
