Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kualitas pelayanan kesehatan pada komunitas Latino di Amerika Serikat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi logistik ordinal. Analisis regresi logistik ordinal merupakan salah satu metode statistika yang menggambarkan hubungan antara suatu variabel respon dengan lebih dari satu variabel prediktor dimana variabel respon lebih dari dua kategori dan skala pengukuran bersifat tingkatan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kualitas pelayanan kesehatan pada komunitas Latino secara signifikan dipengaruhi oleh waktu terakhir kunjungan masyarakat ke dokter atau tempat pelayanan medis, tingkat kepercayaan masyarakat pada dokter atau tempat pelayanan medis, masyarakat percaya pada dukun untuk mengobati penyakit¸ dan kepemilikan asuransi kesehatan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memodelkan tingkat kemiskinan di Provinsi Bengkulu. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah small area estimation (SAE) dengan pendekatan semiparametrik penalized spline (P-Spline). SAE merupakan metode statistika yang sering digunakan untuk mendapatkan suatu informasi yang akurat tentang kemiskinan. Ketika asumsi linieritas pada model dasar SAE tidak terpenuhi, maka dilakukan pendekatan nonparametrik sebagai alternatif pilihan. Salah satunya adalah pendekatan semiparametrik penalized spline. Metode SAE dengan pendekatan semiparametrik mempunyai model yang lebih fleksibel karena mengakomodasi hubungan antara respon dengan prediktor yang bersifat linier dan nonlinier. Pada penelitian ini, dilakukan pemodelan kemiskinan di Provinsi Bengkulu berdasarkan rata-rata pengeluaran per kapita melalui pendugaan parameter model SAE menggunakan semiparametrik P-Spline sehingga diperoleh suatu persamaan regresi efek campuran sebagai model kemiskinan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh model kemiskinan di Provinsi Bengkulu yaitu model P-Spline linier dengan 1 knot. Model ini mempunyai nilai GCV sebesar 148928361265,95, nilai AIC sebesar 13883,46, dan BIC sebesar 13904,38. This study aims to model the level of poverty in Bengkulu Province. The method used in this research is small area estimation (SAE) with semiparametric penalized spline (P-Spline) approach. SAE is a statistical method that is often used to obtain an accurate information about poverty. When the linearity assumptions on the basic SAE model are not met, a nonparametric approach is used as an alternative choice. One is the semiparametric approach of the penalized spline. The SAE method with semiparametric approach has a more flexible model because it accommodates the relationship between response with linear and nonlinear predictors. In this study, poverty modeling in Bengkulu Province was based on average per capita expenditure through the estimation of SAE model parameters using semiparametric P-Spline to obtain a mixed effect regression equation as a model of poverty. Based on the analysis result obtained poverty model in Bengkulu Province is model of P-Spline linear with 1 knot. This model has a GCV value of 148928361265,95, AIC value of 13883.46, and BIC of 13904.38.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan membentuk model Logit-Normal pada tingkat kemiskinan Kabupaten Mukomuko melalui data sampel, mengestimasi tingkat kemiskinan di seluruh desa di Kabupaten Mukomuko yang tidak tersampel dalam Susenas 2011 melalui model Logit Normal yang terbentuk; dan memetakan tingkat kemiskinan level desa di Kabupaten Mukomuko. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Small Area Estimation (SAE). Hasil penelitian ini adalah pendugaan proporsi melalui Hirearchical Bayes (HB) lebih baik daripada Penduga proporsi langsung. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan sebagian besar MSE dari penduga proporsi HB lebih kecil daripada MSE penduga Langsung. Prediksi proporsi kemiskinan di seluruh desa Kabupaten Mukomuko berkisar antara 3,6 % sampai dengan 90.4 %. Proporsi kemiskinan terkecil berada di Desa Ranah Karya Kecamatan Lubuk Pinang dan proporsi Terbesar pada Desa Pulai Payung Kecamatan Ipuh. Penyebaran kemiskinan di Kabupaten Mukomuko menyebar di bagian Timur Laut dan Tenggara dari Kabupaten Mukomuko. Pada bagian timur laut Kecamatan V Koto, Selagan Raya, dan Teras Terunjam memiliki rata-rata proporsi kemiskinan yang rendah. Sedangkan di bagian Tenggara Kabupaten Mukomuko, Kecamatan Air Rami dan Malin Deman memiliki rata-rata proporsi kemiskinan yang tinggi. Abstract

Jurusan Matematika FMIPA Universitas Bengkulu telah memiliki banyak alumni yang bekerja baik itu di instansi milik negara ataupun milik swasta.Penilaian untuk mendapatkan hasil evaluasi lulusan oleh pihak pengguna lulusan selalu dilakukan, salah satunya melalui tracer study alumni. Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk mengetahui bagaimanakah kepuasan pengguna alumni beserta faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya. Untuk tujuan ini disebar kuisioner kepada para pengguna alumni Jurusan Matematika FMIPA, dan data yang diperoleh dimodelkan menggunakan analisis model persamaan struktural. Hasilnya terdapat beberapa faktor yang memang memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan pengguna alumni Jurusan Matematika, yaitu kepemimpinan, group skills, logic, dan effort.Kata Kunci: model persamaan struktural, kepuasan pengguna alumni

Abstract

The era of the industrial revolution 4.0 or the era of disruption requires new literacy which includes data literacy, technological literacy and human literacy. HOTS-based statistical literacy training at SMA Negeri 8 Bengkulu City aims to foster and guide Class XII students in understanding and analyzing HOTS-based statistical literacy. The method used to achieve these objectives is coaching and training. The results obtained based on this activity are the coaching and training conducted that gives positive results and significantly influences students' knowledge and abilities regarding Statistics Literacy. In addition, students get an overview of statistical data understanding that is very important and continues to grow in the revolutionary 4.0 era.

But the achievement of Bengkulu’s students is not prominent, especially in the fieldof Mathematics. Until now Bengkulu has never been quite encouraging achievement in theOSN. Department of Mathematics University of Bengkulu has a human resource that ispromising, the competent faculty who can nurture, guide, and prepare students of SMPNegeri 2 Bengkulu to compete in the OSN. Therefore, students of SMP 2 Bengkulu will becoached to understand, analyze and answer the questions, so that they know the mathOlympic the strategy and the ways that fast in answering the Olympics questions correctly,so they will be a champion at the provincial and national competition. Abstract

SMA Negeri 3 Bengkulu city is one of the active participants in the competition OSN SMA/MA in Bengkulu. But the school's achievements have not been prominent, especially in the field of Mathematics. In the period of last 10 years, SMAN 3 Bengkulu have never gotten quite encouraging achievement in Maths OSN. Department of Mathematics, University of Bengkulu has the human resources pretty promising, that competent teaching staff to improve the ability of reasoning and analysis of students SMA Negeri 3 Bengkulu City through guidance materials OSN Mathematics SMA/MA. Therefore, it will be held activities in the promotion of students regarding the material OSN Mathematics SMA/MA to improve the ability of reasoning and analysis of students so that they know how concepts and strategies work on the problems OSN Mathematics SMA/MA with reasoning and analysis are correct, so as to achievement on activities OSN Mathematics both at the provincial and national levels. After coaching is done, using paired t-test analysis can be concluded that these activities have a significant influence. Abstract

Community service activity aims to introduce and teach counting method of finger (jarimatika) as an alternative method of counting to complete the multiplication operation on the fourth grade students at SD Negeri 79 Kota Bengkulu. Counting method can be used to improve student learning outcomes in completing multiplication operations. This method can provide visualization of counting process, cheer up the child, not burdening the memory of the brain, and the tool is always taken. In addition, this method will make learning activities more fun so that the students become eager in learning. Based on the results of the dedication activities undertaken, it can be concluded that this activity is able to provide knowledge and skills to students of Class IV SDN 79 Kota Bengkulu about jarimatika method. Almost all students are very enthusiastic and interested in following this guidance activity although this jarimatika method is relatively new to them. In addition, this activity can improve students learning motivation and improve students’ numeracy skills especially in multiplication operations. Keywords: Counting, Jarimatika, Mathematics

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan pemetaan kemiskinan di Kabupaten Mukomuko ProvinsiBengkulu. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Small Area Estimation (SAE) denganpendekatan regresi Penalized Spline (P-Spline). Pendugaan parametr model dasar SAE umumnyamembangun suatu model linier campuran yang mengasumsikan bahwa variabel respon dan variabelprediktor mempunyai hubungan linear. Ketika asumsi tersebut tidak terpenuhi, maka dilakukanpendekatan nonparametrik sebagai alternatif pilihan. Salah satunya adalah pendekatan nonparametrikP-Spline. Pada penelitian ini, dilakukan pendugaan parameter model menggunakan P-Spline sehinggadiperoleh suatu persamaan regresi efek campuran sebagai model SAE. Selanjutnya model tersebutdigunakan untuk menduga tingkat kemiskinan pada area yang tersampling., sehingga diperoleh pendugatingkat kemiskinan pada level desa di Kabupaten Mukomuko yang disajikan dalam bentuk petakemiskinan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pendugaan menggunakan model SAE dengan P-Splinememiliki trend (kecenderungan) yang sama dengan penduga langsung. Kecamatan yang memiliki tingkatkemiskinan tinggi menyebar di bagian Timur Laut dan Tenggara dari Kabupaten Mukomuko, yaituKecamatan Selagan Raya, Teramang Jaya, Pondok Suguh, dan Air Rami masing-masing memiliki rata-rata kemiskinan yang tinggi. Sedangkan kecamatan dengan tingkat kemiskinan rendah adalahKecamatan Lubuk Pinang.
