Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the best concentration of plant growth regulator (PGR) of coconut water and liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) of goat urine for the growth of cuttings of pepper plants, and to find out the interaction of PGR concentration of coconut water and liquid organic fertilizer of goat urine which is appropriate for the growth of cuttings of pepper plants. The study was conducted for 3 months, from September to November 2017. The study was conducted in Sungai Tempurung Village, Anggana District, Kutai Kertanegara Regency,                 East Kalimantan Province. The research design used was a 4 x 4 factorial randomized block design with                    3 replications. The first factor is the concentration of PGR of coconut water (a) consisting of 4 levels: a0 (control), a1 (150 ml / liter of water), a2 (250 ml / liter of water) and a3 (350 ml / liter of water). The second factor is the concentration of liquid organic fertilizer of goat urine (u) consists of 4 levels: u? ((control), u1 (100 ml / liter of water), u2 (200 ml / liter of water) and u3 (300 ml / liter of water). The concentration treatment of PGR of coconut water showed the results significantly affected the growth of cuttings of pepper plants. a3 treatment produced the highest average growth compared to treatments a0, a1 and a2. The treatment of liquid organic fertilizer of goat urine showed the results significantly affected the growth of cuttings of pepper plants. The u3 treatment produces the highest growth rate compared to treatments u0, u1 and u2. The interaction between concentration treatment of PGR of coconut water and liquid organic fertilizer of goat urine showed the results no significant effect on the growth of cuttings of pepper plants.

Abstract

The study was conducted to determine the effect of bran composition and baglog size on the production of white oyster mushrooms (Pleurotus ostreatus). The study was arranged in a Randomized Block Design (RBD) consisting of 2 factors with 5 replications. The first factor is the composition of bran consisting of four levels, namely: 10%, 15%, 20% and 25%. The second factor is the size of baglog which consists of 4 levels, namely: 17 cm, 18 cm, 19 cm and 20 cm. The results showed that the composition of bran had a very significant effect on the age of the first harvest, average mushroom weight, average fresh weight per baglog and biological efficiency ratio. Baglog size has a significant effect on the age of the first harvest, average mushroom weight, average fresh weight per baglog and biological efficiency ratio. The best effect on the production of oyster mushrooms is produced by the composition of bran 20% (d3) and baglog size of 19 cm (b3). The interaction of bran composition and baglog size significantly affected the age of the first harvest and had a very significant effect on the average weight of mushrooms, but did not significantly affect the fresh weight of mushrooms per baglog and the ratio of biological efficiency. The best interaction with the production of white oyster mushrooms is a combination of 20% bran composition and 19 cm baglog size.

Abstract

Atonic Effect on Growth and Production of Servo Varietal Tomatoes. The purpose of this study was to obtain the best atonic concentration on the growth and production of servo tomato varieties. This research was conducted for 5 months, starting from January to June 2018, starting from land preparation, planting, maintenance, harvesting to data collection. This research was conducted at Bumi Sempaja Blok A Housing, Sempaja Selatan Village, North Samarinda District. The study was arranged in a 5x1 Randomized Block Design and repeated 5 times. With treatment p0 (control), p1 (1 cc), p2 (2 cc), p3 (3 cc) and p4 (4 cc). The results of this study indicate that the atonic treatment has a very significant effect on the treatment of plant height, the number of flowers, the length of fruit to ripen, the number of fruits and production, but does not affect the duration of flower buds into fruit.

Abstract

The increasing market demand causes organic farming to grow rapidly along with the optimization of health understanding. Organic agricultural products are popular with middle and upper class people who are willing to pay higher prices for healthy, safe and environmentally friendly food products. The purpose of this study was to determine the optimal use of organic rice washing water and cropping patterns in the field for the growth and yield of F1 chili varieties. The research was carried out in Kelurahan Gunung Kelua, Samarinda, East Kalimantan for approximately 4 (four) months, namely from October to February 2020. This study used a Randomized Group Design which was arranged in factorial 3x2 with 2 replications. The first factor is liquid organic fertilizer consisting of 3 (three) levels including: P0 without treatment, P1 (liquid organic fertilizer 250 ml l-1 water), P2 (liquid organic fertilizer 500 ml l-1 water). The second factor is the cropping pattern which consists of 2 (two), namely T1 with Monoculture planting pattern, T2 with intercropping cropping pattern. The results showed that the use of liquid organic fertilizer rice washing water can increase the growth and production of chilli F1 variety and intercropping cropping patterns as optimal land use in the field.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Organic farming continues to grow in line with the rapid market demand for organic fruit and vegetables. In our country, organic agriculture is experiencing rapid development due to the fact that agricultural products, especially fresh vegetables and fruit, are grown using organic farming systems. Organic agricultural products are starting to attract consumers, especially the upper middle class, who are willing to pay more for food products that are healthy, safe, and environmentally friendly. The purpose of this study was to determine the use of organic fertilizers for washing rice water and pruning water shoots on the growth and yield of tomato plants. The research was conducted in Gunung Kelua village, Samarinda, East Kalimantan for approximately 4 (four) months, from March to July 2020. This study used a randomized block design arranged 3x2 factorial with 3 replications. The first factor is liquid organic fertilizer which consists of 3 (three) levels, including: P0 Without Treatment, P1 (Liquid Organic Fertilizer 250 ml / l water), P2 (Liquid Organic Fertilizer 500 ml / l water). The second factor is pruning water shoots consisting of 2 (two), namely T0 without pruning water shoots on tomato plants, T1 by pruning water shoots on tomato plants. The results showed that the application of liquid organic fertilizer had no significant effect on plant height, but had a significant effect on the number of fruits and production.

Abstract

Increased production of oil palm empty fruit bunches results in large quantities of waste that have not been used optimally. One of the wastes produced from oil palm mills is oil palm empty fruit bunches and dried decanters solid. Waste from oil palm empty fruit bunches can be made into compost. This type of waste can be used as organic fertilizer for oil palm plants. The function of organic fertilizer is to improve soil structure, soil texture, aeration and increase the soil's absorption capacity. Organic fertilizers also function as stimulants to improve the health of plant roots and provide food for microorganisms that can maintain the soil in a healthy and balanced condition. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect and interaction of applications of oil palm empty fruit bunch compost and dried decanters solid on the growth and results of spring onion plant (Allium fistulosum L.) hole variety. The study was conducted in the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Widya Gama Mahakam Samarinda University. The study was conducted for ± 6 months starting in January to July 2018. This study used a randomized block design (RBD) with a 4 x 4 Factorial Experiment consisting of 3 replications. The first factor is the application of oil palm empty fruit bunch compost (K) namely K0 (control), K1 (70 g/polybag), K2 (120 g/polybag), and K3 (170 g/polybag). The second factor is the application of dried decanter solid (S) namely S0 (control), S1 (65 g/polybag), S2 (115 g/polybag), and S3 (165 g/polybag). The results showed that the application of oil palm empty fruit bunch compost and dried decanter solid as well as the interaction combination of treatment had a very significant effect on the observed variable height of plants per clump (cm), fresh weight of plants per clump (g), and had no significant effect on the observation variables leaves per clump (sheet) as well as the number of tillers per clump (fruit).

Abstract

Pengaruh Pemberian Pupuk Pelengkap Cair Gandasil D Dan NPK Mutiara Terhadap Pertumbuhan Bibit Lai (Durio Kutejensis. Hassk Becc). Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian Pupuk Pelengkap Cair Gandasil D dengan konsentrasi berbeda terhadap pertumbuhan bibit Lai, mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pupuk NPK Mutiara dengan dosis yang berbeda terhadap pertumbuhan bibit Lai dan untuk mengetahui interaksi antara pemberian Pupuk Pelengkap Cair Gandasil D dan NPK Mutiara terhadap pertumbuhan bibit Lai. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Jl. KH. Wahid Hasyim Sempaja Samarinda Lokasi Lahan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Widya Gama Mahakam Samarinda Selama 3 bulan dimulai pada bulan Juli hingga bulan Oktober 2013. Penelitian disusun dalam Rancangan Acak Kelompok dengan percobaan Faktorial 4 x 4 di ulang sebanyak 3 kali. Faktor pertama yaitu pemberian Pupuk Pelengkap Cair Gandasil D terdiri dari 4 taraf perlakuan yaitu g0 kontrol, g1 1 gram l-1 air, g2 2 gram l-1 air, g3 3 gram l-1 air, faktor kedua yaitu pemberian pupuk NPK Mutiara terdiri dari 4 taraf perlakuan yaitu m0 kontrol, m1 1,5 gram polybag-1, m2 3 gram polybag-1, m3 4,5 gram polybag-1. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan Pupuk Pelengkap Cair Gandasil D (G) berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap diameter batang umur 30, 60 dan 90 Hari Setelah Perlakuan (HSP), jumlah daun umur 30, 60, 90 Hari Setelah Perlakuan (HSP), dan luas daun umur 30 Hari Setelah Perlakuan (HSP), tetapi berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman umur 30, 60, 90 Hari Setelah Perlakuan (HSP) dan luas daun umur 60 Hari Setelah Perlakuan (HSP). Dan berpengaruh nyata terhadap luas daun umur 90 Hari Setelah Perlakuan (HSP). Perlakuan terbaik di peroleh pada perlakuan g2 (2 gram l-1 air). Perlakuan pupuk NPK Mutiara tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap semua variabel yang diamati. Kombinasi Perlakuan Pupuk Pelengkap Cair Gandasil D dan NPK Mutiara berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman umur 30, 60, dan 90 Hari Setelah Perlakuan (HSP), diameter batang umur 30, 60, dan 90 Hari Setelah Perlakuan (HSP), jumlah daun umur 30, 60 dan 90 Hari Setelah Perlakuan (HSP), luas daun umur 30 dan 90 Hari Setelah Perlakuan (HSP) tetapi berbeda sangat nyata terhadap luas daun umur 60 Hari Setelah Perlakuan (HSP). Hasil terbaik diperoleh pada perlakuan g2m0.

Abstract

Pengaruh Konsentrasi Pupuk Organik Cair Nasa Terhadap Pertumbuhan Bibit Tanaman Kakao (Theobroma cacao L). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan konsentrasi Pupuk Organik Cair Nasa terbaik terhadap pertumbuhan bibit tanaman kakao.Penelitian ini dilaksanakan kurang lebih 4 bulan, mulai dari bulan Agustus sampai dengan November 2013, tempat penelitian di lahan Jl. Thoyib Hadiwijaya Sempaja Selatan, Samarinda Utara dan Provinsi Kalimatan Timur. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak kelompok faktorial 3 x 4 dengan 3 kali ulangan. Faktor pertama adalah varietas bibit (V) durian yang terdiri dari 3 taraf, yaitu : v1 (varietas salisun), v2 (varietas kani) dan v3 (varietas otong) dan faktor kedua adalah pemberian konsentrasi POC D.I. Grow Green (D) yang terdiri dari 4 taraf, yaitu : d0 (kontrol), d1 (1,5 ml/ liter air), d2 (3,0 ml/ liter air) dan d3 (4,5 ml/ liter air). Hasil konsentrasi pupuk organik cair Nasa berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, panjang akar utama, berat akar basah dan berat akar kering. Taraf perlakuan p3 merupakan memiliki pengaruh yang paling tinggi. Kata kunci : Pupuk organik cair Nasa dan bibit lai.

Abstract

Respon Pertumbuhan Bibit Tanaman Karet (Hevea brasiliensis Mull Arg) Terhadap Pemberian Berbagai Konsentrasi dan Interval Pupuk Hormon Tanaman Unggul. Tujuan penelitan untuk mengetahui konsentrasi pupuk hormon tanaman unggul dan interval pemberian yang terbaik serta interaksinya terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman karet dipersemaian. Penelitian dilaksanakan dari bulan Agustus - November 2014 lokasi penelitian dilaksanakan di lahan praktek UPTB BAPELTAN Provinsi Kalimantan Timur. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak kelompok faktorial 4 x 4 dengan 4 kali ulangan. Faktor pertama adalah konsentrasi pupuk hormon tanaman unggul (H) yang terdiri dari 4 taraf yaitu : h0 (kontrol), h1 (2,5 ml/liter air), h2 (5,0 ml/liter air) dan h3 (7,5 ml/liter air). Sedangkan faktor kedua adalah interval waktu pemberian yang terdiri dari 4 taraf yaitu : i1(5 hari sekali), i2 (10 hari sekali), i3 (15 hari sekali) dan i4 (20 hari sekali). Perlakuan berbagai konsentrasi pupuk hormon tanaman unggul berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap rata-rata pertambahan tinggi tanaman, pertambahan jumlah daun umur 90 hari setelah tanam, panjang akar dan jumlah akar. Perlakuan yang tertinggi untuk rata-rata pertambahan tinggi tanaman pada umur 90 hari setelah tanam dicapai pada perlakuan h2 (5,0 ml/liter air) yaitu 15,63 cm sedangkan perlakuan terendah dicapai pada perlakuan h0 (kontrol) yaitu 11,04 cm. Perlakuan interval waktu pemberian pupuk hormon tanaman unggul berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap rata-rata pertambahan tinggi tanaman, pertambahan jumlah daun 90 hari setelah tanam, panjang akar dan jumlah akar. Perlakuan yang tertinggi untuk rata-rata pertambahan tinggi tanaman pada umur 90 hari setelah tanam dicapai pada perlakuan i2 (10 hari sekali) yaitu 15,78 cm sedangkan perlakuan terendah dicapai pada perlakuan i1 (5 hari sekali) yaitu 10,32 cm. Interaksi antara konsentrasi dan interval waktu pemberian pupuk hormon tanaman unggul berpengaruh nyata terhadap rata-rata panjang akar dan jumlah akar. Abstract

The main results are oil crops such as crude palm oil (Crude Palm Oil). Crude palm oil is the result of non-oil export commodities large enough nowadays. In fact, if it were processed into oil derivatives will provide a greater positive impact. One that can be used as oil derivative is a producing β-carotene. Attempts to separate the source of β-carotene from crude palm oil is the solvent selected and by extraction. Results extract crude palm oil will be applied in the manufacture of peanut shake at Regency. A rocking nut snacks are becoming the hallmark of Regency. Nuts rocking has limited shelf life. Hopefully, by the administration of β-carotene rocking nuts will last longer, be more interesting and rich in pro-vitamin A. Keywords: extraction, separation, β-carotene, peanut shake, pro-vitamin A
