Abstract

This research aims to improve the learning quality and short story-based geguritan (poetry Japanese language) writing skill of the IX A graders of SMP Negeri 26 Surakarta using mind mapping method. This study was taken place in the XI A grade. The research strategy used was a descriptive qualitative one; the subject of research was the students and teachers; the data source of research included short story-based geguritan writing learning process event, teacher and students, as well as relevant document. Techniques of collecting data used in this research were interview, observation, document analysis, test, and documentation. The data validation tests used in this research were method triangulation, source triangulation and informant review. Technique of analyzing data used was a critical-comparative analytical descriptive one. The result of research showed that the quality of short story-based geguritan writing learning of the IX A graders of SMP Negeri 26 Surakarta improved significantly. It could be seen from the mean value of student performance observation sheet of 59.30% in cycle I, 84.87% in cycle II, 90.60% in cycle III, and the mean value of teacher performance of 66.70 in cycle I, 82.14% in cycle II, and 88.90% in cycle III . The short story-based geguritan writing skill of the IX A graders of SMP Negeri 26 Surakarta also improved significantly. It was indicated by the geguritan writing, mean class, and classical passing the IX A graders had achieved. The mean score of geguritan writing skill test in cycle I was 68.00% with passing of 46.42%. In cycle II, it increased to 75.10% with passing degree of 71.42% and in cycle III it increased to 82.82% with passing degree of 85.71%.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk mendampingi Bimbingan Belajar Anak Sekolah Dasar Berbasis Ajaran Tamansiswa di Desa Munggur, Kecamatan Piyungan, Kabupaten Bantul. Metode pelaksanaan Blended Learning yaitu dengan menggunakan dua media yaitu media online yaitu Google Meet dalam melaksanakan pra pembimbingan sebelum melaksanakan pendampingan belajar, dan media offline sebagai media untuk memberi pendampingan Bimbingan Belajar anak sekolah dasar dengan menerapkan ajaran taman siswa pada kegiatan belajar mengajar. Hasil pengabdian ini adalah mendapatkan respon positif, baik dari peserta maupun masyarakat setempat. Anak-anak merasa lebih mudah dalam memahami materi pembelajaran dan dalam menyelesaikan tugas-tugas yang ada di sekolah. Selain itu, orang tua anak juga merasa terbantu dengan adanya kegiatan pengabdian ini karena dengan adanya kegiatan ini anak-anak mereka menjadi lebih mudah dalam menjalani proses pembelajaran online di sekolah. ABSTRACT This community service aims to assist the Tutoring of Elementary School Children which Based on Tamansiswa Precept at Munggur, Piyungan, Bantul Regency. The methodology of implementing Blended Learning is by using two media, namely Google Meet as online media in to give pre-guidance before doing mentoring of learning, and offline media is for giving mentoring for elementary school children's tutoring by applying Tamansiswa precept in teaching and learning . The result of this service is getting a positive response, both from participants and the local community. It facilitates the children to understand the learning materials and to complete the tasks. In addition, It also helps the parents because this activity cause that the their children can go through the online learning process at school easily. Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter dalam kumpulan puisi Negeri Daging karya A. Mustofa Bisri. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif kualitatif. Data penelitian ini berupa satuan estetik berupa satuan gramatikal (kalimat) dalam kumpulan puisi Negeri Daging karya A. Mustofa Bisri. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi dan catat. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitiannya, terdapat lima nilai pendidikan karakter dalam kumpulan puisi Negeri Daging karya A. Mustofa Bisri yaitu nilai toleransi, cinta tanah air, nilai penghargaan prestasi, nilai peduli sosial, dan nilai demokrasi. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah kumpulan puisi Negeri Daging karya A. Mustafa Bisri memiliki banyak nilai pendidikan karakter yang dapat diambil dan diterapkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari agar terbiasa dengan karakter yang baik. Kata Kunci: Nilai Pendidikan Karakter, Kumpulan Puisi Negeri Daging Karya A. Mustofa Bisri                ABSTRACTThis study aims at describing the character education values in the poetry collection Negeri Daging by A. Mustofa Bisri. This research is descriptive qualitative. The data of this research are in the form of aesthetic units in the form of grammatical units (sentences) in the poetry collection Negeri Daging by A. Mustofa Bisri. Data collection techniques used are observation and note-taking. The data analysis of this research used descriptive qualitative technique. The results of his research, there are five values of character education in the collection of poetry, Negeri Daging by A. Mustofa Bisri, namely the value of tolerance, the love homeland,  the value of respect for achievement, the value of social care, and the value of democracy. The conclusion in this research is that the collection of poetry Negeri Daging by A. Mustafa Bisri has a lot of character education values which can be taken and applied to everyday life to get used to with good characters.Keywords:  character education values, the poetry collection Negeri Daging by A.
