Abstract

This study aims to describe learning activities and writing skills through Project Based Learning. The subjects of this study were students of class VII-I Junior High School at Taman Dewasa Jetis. Classroom action research was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The source of data in this class action research is the process of learning description text and fantasy narrative texts and documents. Data collection is done through observation techniques, documentation (field notes, student lists, student grades, lesson plans, student test results, and photographs), and tests. Data analysis techniques using the Miles and Huberman techniques. The application of Project Based Learning procedures includes: asking questions; make a plan; arrange scheduling; monitor project creation; conduct an assessment; and evaluation. The results of student activities in learning have increased, as well as writing skills also showed an increase.

Abstract

The aims of the research are to describe these subjects. (1) Facts story from the novel Pulang; (a) plot, (b) characters and characterization, (3) The sttinngs which used by the author to show socialogical probtem in the novel. (4) Civilians  pitcrures in  the  novel  “Pulang”. (5) Social protest in the novel  Pulang.  This rescarch  is  one  of the descriptiv ,qualitative  rescarch’s  kind . Data used in the from of senteces  and pragrahs.  These  data   are  obtained   from  the  second  colition   of  the  novel “Pulang”  by  Leila  S . Chundori.  The instruments of  this  research  is  the  researsher   herself   with  several  theories  of  intrinsic and  literature‘s  socialogical as  the  knife  of  analysis.  The  method and techniques of data collection used in this study are non-interactive and reading and note techniques.  The method and techniques of data analysis in this research is descriptive method and descriptive analysis. The results  of  this  research   are   as   follows. (1) Facts story from the novel “Pulang”; (a) showing  that  the author  applied  a flashback  plot, (b) characters  and   characterizations  from the novel  “Pulang”  are  composed of one main character and four additional character  with a simple gesture,  (c)  the  setting  in  this  novel  are  tateing  place  from  some  cities  of  different  countrry. by  using  time  interval  on  1998’s   social incident. (4)  Pictures  of  the  society  captured  in  this novel   are  from  exiled  families,  political  families,  their   limitness  from  some  access  in  the  country  and   their love to their  nation. (5) The kind of social protest shown in the novel “Pulang” is a social-politics protest for the ruler  and  social- politic  protest  for society.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe and explain (1) plot, (2) figure and character, (3) setting, (4) reality of life from boarding school, (5) religiosity A. Mustofa Bisri, and (6) creative process A. Mustofa Bisri in anthology short story Lukisan Kaligrafi. The type of research used in this study is descriptive qualitative. The results obtained in this research area. (1) Plot used is a progress manner and flashback. (2) ) Figure and character is Gus Jakfar: always curious, figure ‘aku’: wise, Ustadz Bachri: not easily hopeless, humble, Kang Amin: not easily give up. Meanwhile is available figure additional that is Kiai Tawakkal, Nabi Khidir, Hardi, Kiai Nur, Samsuddin. (3) geographical settings in anthology short story Lukisan Kaligrafi: Sabilul Muttaqin Boarding School, Pesantren Bambu, house of figure ‘aku’, house of Ustadz Bachri, the warehouse of Ustadz Bachri, and exhibition location, Tanwirul ‘Uquul Boarding School, city of recitation location. The social setting is muslim society in rural and life of santri. Time setting is night and daytime. (4) the reality of life from boarding school in anthology short story Lukisan Kaligrafi seen from the interaction which becomes aware antartokoh and between relation kiai, santri, and family ndalem boarding school in layer santri society. (5) Religiosity A. Mustofa Bisri relevance in anthology short story Lukisan Kaligrafi seen from activities religious, as recitation or dakwah with all his experience which pictured all short story. (6) Creative process A. Mustofa Bisri in anthology short story Lukisan Kaligrafi be born and processed from the life of A. Mustofa Bisri which not far dakwah world.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the unit of a sign as follows. 1) Icons, indices and symbols in the poem "Rain Gardens". 2) Icons, indices and symbols in the poem "Rainy Mother". 3) The meanings contained in the poems "Rain Gardens" and "Mother Rain" in a collection of poems Congratulations on Performing Poetry Worship by Joko Pinurbo. This research is a type of qualitative research. The data used is a sign in the form of words, phrases, sentences, lines, and stanzas in the poems "Rain Gardens" and "Mother Rain". The data sources used in this study are the poems "Rain Gardens" and "Mother Rain" which are collected in a collection of poems, Congratulations on Poetry Worship by Joko Pinurbo. The research instrument in this study is the researchers themselves who are armed with a set of concepts about signs and meanings. The data collection technique used in this study is to read the note. The data analysis technique used in this study is a qualitative descriptive analysis method. The results of the analysis of the poetry "Rain Gardens" and "Mother of Rain" as follows. 1) Icons, indices, and symbols in the poem "Rain Gardens" are found: (a) icons (in pieces / children of rain / which are interpreted as rain / drizzle), (b) index (in word fragments / fall / interpreted by the process of falling rain), (c) symbols (in fragments / sun / interpreted with hope and new enthusiasm). 2) Icons, indices, and symbols on the poem "Rainy Mother" by finding: (a) icons (in pieces / three kilograms of rain / weighted by human burdens in living life), (b) indexes (on pieces / shivering alone / interpreted as a condition of loneliness, (c) symbol (in fragments / rain / interpreted by the arrival of gifts and calamities) 3) Meaning in the poem "Rain Gardens" and "Mother of Rain" as follows. (a) Poetry "Rain Gardens" has the meaning of the phenomenon of natural disasters that make the despair of the victim, (b) Poetry "Mother of Rain" has the meaning of the journey of human life as an example of achieving the perfection of life.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the ethics of liberation, values characters in the collection of Negeri Daging by A. Mustofa Bisri,, and its application in learning as a character education media. Research this is a qualitative research. Research data in the form of aesthetic unity and grammatical unity. Data source in the form of a collection of Negeri Daging. Instrument. This research is the researcher himself with the relevant theory and assisted grating along with indicators of ethical liberation and character values. Data collection technique using note taking techniques. Data analysis techniques using descriptive techniques qualitative. The results of his research are as follows. 1) Ethics of liberation include: a) Political oppression represents an authoritarian system of government, no the existence of human rights; b) State oppression depicts the absence of freedom opinion, gross human rights violations, and dictatorial leadership; c) Economic injustice illustrates social inequality, monetary crisis, corruption; and d) gender injustice illustrates harassment of people women, domestic violence, women deemed inappropriate as leaders. 2) Value characters include: tolerance, democratic, national spirit, peace, and responsible. 3) Application in learning as an educational medium characters through KI 3 and KD 3.16, 3.8 (IBB) using the method participatory-exhibition.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menemukan etika profetik humanisasi dalam kumpulan cerpen Konvensi karya A. Mustofa Bisri. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif, Teknik pengumpulan data  dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik baca dan teknik catat. Teknik nalisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik deskriptif kualitatif.Hasil  peneltian ini yang berkaitan dengan  humanisasi pada etika sastra Profetik dalam kumpulan cerpen Konvensi menggambarkan maraknya dehumanisasi dalam kehidupan manusia. Dehumanisasi menimbulkan kecenderungan manusia yang terlalu cinta dengan hal-hal yang bersifat duniawi. Perilaku manusia sudah terbelenggu oleh kemajuan zaman dan kecanggihan teknologi di satu sisi. Di sisi lain, manusia masih juga mempertahankan hal yang irrasional. Melalui penggambaran dehumanisasi diharapkan humanisasi muncul dalam permukaan dan menjadi kesadaran manusia. Gambaran yang berkaitan dengan etika humanisasi adalah keterikatan manusia dengan teknologi, penipuan dan dendam, perbedaan aliran atau keyakinan menimbulkan permusuhan, muncul dan memuncaknya emosi karena kekuatan massa, perilaku pejabat sebagai panutan yang menyimpang, ambisi menuju tingkat sosial yang tinggi,  persaingan tidak sehat, penggunaan obat-obat terlarang, dan kebutuhan primer terabaikan karena kebutuhan sekunder. Kata kunci: Etika profetik, humansasi, kumpulan cerpen Konvensi

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter dalam kumpulan puisi Negeri Daging karya A. Mustofa Bisri. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif kualitatif. Data penelitian ini berupa satuan estetik berupa satuan gramatikal (kalimat) dalam kumpulan puisi Negeri Daging karya A. Mustofa Bisri. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi dan catat. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitiannya, terdapat lima nilai pendidikan karakter dalam kumpulan puisi Negeri Daging karya A. Mustofa Bisri yaitu nilai toleransi, cinta tanah air, nilai penghargaan prestasi, nilai peduli sosial, dan nilai demokrasi. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah kumpulan puisi Negeri Daging karya A. Mustafa Bisri memiliki banyak nilai pendidikan karakter yang dapat diambil dan diterapkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari agar terbiasa dengan karakter yang baik. Kata Kunci: Nilai Pendidikan Karakter, Kumpulan Puisi Negeri Daging Karya A. Data collection techniques used are observation and note-taking. The data analysis of this research used descriptive qualitative technique. The results of his research, there are five values of character education in the collection of poetry, Negeri Daging by A. Mustofa Bisri, namely the value of tolerance, the love homeland,  the value of respect for achievement, the value of social care, and the value of democracy. The conclusion in this research is that the collection of poetry Negeri Daging by A. Mustafa Bisri has a lot of character education values which can be taken and applied to everyday life to get used to with good characters.Keywords:  character education values, the poetry collection Negeri Daging by A. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menjelaskan representasi pengarang dan ajaran Tamansiswa yang terdapat dalam novel Ibuk. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif menggunakan pendekatan sosiologi sastra. Penelitian sosiologi sastra ini difokuskan pada sosiologi pengarang. Data berupa frasa, kalimat yang memuat aspek sosiologi pengarang dan ajaran Tamansiswa, bersumber dari novel Ibuk karya Iwan Setyawan. Data dianalisis dengan analisis interaktif. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa novel Ibuk, tidak lepas dari latar belakang pengarang meliputi latar belakang sosial budaya, status sosial, pendidikan, pekerjaan, dan riwayat kepengarangan. Dalam novel Ibuk memuat ajaran kehidupan berdasarkan ajaran Tamansiswa yang meliputi tripantangan, trisentra pendidikan, trijuang, trikon, dan tri-N. Pada novel Ibuk tripantangan meliputi pantangan menyalahgunakan kekuasaan, keuangan, dan kesusilaan. Trisentra pendidikan mencakup keluarga, sekolah, dan masyarakat. Trijuang meliputi perjuangan untuk membrantas kebodohan, kemiskinan, dan ketertinggalan, sedangkan trikon mencakup konsentris dan konvergen. Tri-N dalam novel meliputi niteni, nirokke, dan nambahi.Kata kunci: Representasi pengarang, ajaran Tamansiswa, Novel

Hal ini masih dirasakan salah satunya oleh siswa-siswa SD kelas VI di SDN Pengkok-Gunungkidul. Para siswa masih kesulitan untuk menulis karya sastra dengan kreatif. Tujuan PkM ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kreatifitas menulis sastra siswa SD berbasis kearifan lokal dengan metode Tri-N.  Kegiatan PkM dilakukan dengan model ceramah dan Tri-N, bertanya jawab, dan unjuk kerja. Lokasi PkM ini bertempat di SD Negeri Pengkok, Patuk, Kabupaten Gunungkidul. Waktu kegiatna dilaksankaan pada Senin, 7 Februasi 2022. Peserta PkM sebanyak 15 anak kelas VI SD. Kegiatan PkM dilakukan bersamaan dengan pelaksanaan Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN). Kegiatan ini dilakukan secara tim antara dosen pembantu lapangan (DPL), dosen, dan mahasiswa. Hasil yang tercapai dalam kegiatan ini yaitu; siswa mampu membuat karya sastra berbasis kearifan lokal dengan mengimplementasikan ajaran Tamansiswa (Tri-N).
