Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengembangan sumberdaya manusia pariwisata pada usaha jasa restoran di kota Parepare Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari Pemerintah Daerah kota Parepare, Pelaku usaha Pariwisata (stakeholder), Karyawan dan Manajer usaha Jasa Restoran.  Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif. Pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, pelaku usaha pariwisata dan karyawan serta bagian yang terkait masih kurang memahami tentang pentingnya kompetensi yang wajib dimiliki. Hal ini disebabkan karena pemerintah daerah belum maksimal melaksanakan sosialisasi sampai pada pelaksanaan uji kompetensi. Oleh sebab itu, diharapkan pemerintah daerah dan Stakeholder dapat melakukan pendekatan melalui komunikasi dan koordinasi  kepada pelaku usaha jasa pariwisata melalui kegiatan sosialisasi tentang pentingnya pemahaman kompetensi dan kompetensi yang harus dimiliki bagi setiap karyawan. Hal ini dapat berdampak pada pelayanan yang berkualitas kepada tamu di restoran. Demikian pula pengembangan karyawan melalui pendidikan dan pelatihan dapat diterapkan.  Jika kedua hal tersebut dapat dilaksanakan maka, pelayanan prima dapat diberikan kepada setiap tamu sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan harapan sehingga pada akhirnya pendapatan asli daerah melalui pajak pada setiap usaha jasa restoran akan meningkat

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) Pemahaman pramusaji terhadap pelayanan prima, dan (2) Implementasi uji kompetensi bagi pelaku usaha jasa Restoran di Kabupaten Polewali Mandar Sulawesi Barat. Populasi penelitian adalah Pemerintah Daerah Polewali Mandar, Masyarakat dan Pelaku Usaha Jasa Restoran (Stakeholder). Metode pengambilan sampel secara purposive sejumah 50 informan, yakni 20 orang berasal dari industry, 5 orang berasal dari pemerintah daerah dan 25 orang berasal dari pramusaji. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara dengan daftar pertanyaan dan dokumentasi. Metode analisis data adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, pemahaman pramusaji terhadap konsep pelayanan prima masih kurang sesuai dengan kebutuhan industri. Demikian pula kompetensi yang dimiliki bagi pelaku usaha jasa restoran masih kurang. Dengan demikian diharapkan pemerintah daerah dan Stakeholder dapat melakukan pendekatan kepada pelaku usaha jasa restoran melalui kegiatan sosialisasi tentang pentingnya penerapan  pelayanan prima bagi setiap tamu yang berkunjung di restoran. Demikian pula pengembangan kompetensi melalui pendidikan dan pelatihan dapat diterapkan.  Jika kedua hal tersebut dapat dilaksanakan maka, pelayanan dapat diberikan kepada setiap tamu. Hal ini akan berdampak pada peningkatan pendapatan asli daerah melalui pajak pada setiap usaha jasa restoran

Abstract

This study aims to obtain an empirical description of the skill level of students and whether there is a significant difference in the level of student skills before competency-based learning and after learning the competency-based curriculum at the Makassar Tourism Academy's Dish Management Study Program. This type of research is a survey with the independent variable being competency-based learning and the selection variable being the skill level of students using total sampling because the number of students studied was thirty people. Collecting data using observation techniques, namely by directly observing student skills, while the analytical technique used is T-test analysis (test difference between two averages). The results showed that the skill level of the students of the Dish Management Study Program at the Makassar Tourism Academy in competency-based learning was at a level that was less and less. On the other hand, after learning the competency-based curriculum, there was a significant increase, namely, they were at a good and very good level. Furthermore, there is a significant difference in the skill level of students before and after learning the competency-based curriculum in students of the culinary management study program. Based on the results of this study, it is suggested that the management of the Makassar Tourism Academy in the future can apply the learning process using a competency-based curriculum as has been implemented in several vocational schools in Indonesia. Abstract

The phenomenon of learning loss is no stranger to the world of education, the presence of Covid-19 has exacerbated this condition. If it is not anticipated, it will have an impact on decreasing the quality of the nation's generation. This research aims to analyze the policies of the Indonesian government and teachers in tackling learning loss in students. The research method used is Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with metasynthetic data analysis techniques. This study found that the Indonesian government's policies are 1) online learning; 2) implementation of three curricula; 3) teacher training and mentoring; and 4) provision of textbooks and digital teaching tools. Meanwhile, innovations made by teachers include 1) psychosocial assistance; 2) utilization of technology; 3) approach; 4) design varied learning; 5) numerical literacy assistance; 6) blended learning; 7) home visit; and 8) development of learning media. Thus, to minimize learning loss, government policies and teacher innovation are needed.
