This research was motivated by the low value of writing poetry and the activities of students who were still of poor quality. This study aims to describe the improvement of student learning processes and results in writing poetry through themodel Mind Mapping. This type of research is classroom action research (Action Research). Analysis of the research data is qualitative and quantitative techniques. The results of this study are: (1) the application of the model Mind Mapping in writing poetry can increase student activity in learning, namely in the first cycle most of the student activities are in the fairly good category increasing in cycle II to be good. (2) The application of themodel Mind Mapping in poetry writing learning can improve the learning outcomes of SMP Negeri 4 Rambah class VIII students, namely in the pre-cycle class scores of 50,25 with 16,66 % learning completeness, increasing in the first cycle obtaining class average scores became 76,30 with a percentage of completeness of 62,5 % and increased again in the second cycle obtained an average grade of 88,20 with a percentage of completeness of 95,83 %. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the application of the model Mind Mapping can improve the process and student learning outcomes in writing poetry on class VIII SMP Negeri 4 Rambah.

The purpose of research is to describe: (1) Intensifying the process of poetry writing skills of students ,(2) the result of an increase in student poetry writing skillsstudent in class VII.D SMP Negeri 6 Gunung Talang. Data was obtained from qualitative data in the form of sheets observation, field note, questionnaires, andquantitative data in the form of test performanc. The findings of a study of the process of poetry writing skills through technigue modelling student in class VII.DSMP Negeri 6 Gunung Talang. The average student test results has increased, averaging at 46,1 pracycle, in the first cycle 59,4 and the second cycle 74,5.

Data was obtained from qualitativedata in the form of sheets observation, field note, questionnaires, and quantitative data in the form of test performanc. The findings of a study of the process ofimproving features writing skills through contextual teaching learning Language Study Program and Literature Indonesia FKIP UMSB Padang Panjang performing well. The average student test results has increased, averaging at 56,6pracycle, in the first cycle 65 and the second cycle 75.

This research is motivated by the low skill of interpreting the text of the report on the results of student observations verbally. The type of this research is Classroom Action Research. The method of this research is qualitative and quantitative methods. The purpose of this study is to improve the process and results of learning to interpret the text of the report on student observation verbally through the application of the Discovery Learning model. The results of these studies are (1) The quality of student activities shows that the poor category is in the first cycle, which is 7.35%, cycle II is 3.23%, cycle III is 1.48%. The quality of student activities in the fairly good category is the first cycle, which is 72.35%, cycle II is 48 52%, cycle III is 36, 76%, cycle IV becomes 7.35%. The quality of student activities in the good category is cycle I which is 20.30%, cycle II is 45.29%, cycle III is 50%, and Cycle IV is 32, 06%. While the quality of student activities in the excellent category is nonexistent, Cycle II increases to 2.94%, cycle III increases to 11.76%, cycle IV increases again to 60.58%. (2) Increasing the completeness of prasiklus learning outcomes by 38.23% with a class average of 66.85 to 50% in the first cycle with a class average of 73.48, increasing again in the second cycle to 70.58% with a class average of 76.66, increasing again in the third cycle to 82.35% with a class average of 79.40, increasing again in the IV cycle to 97.05% with a class average of 84.50. Based on the results of these studies can be concluded that the application of the Discovery Learning model is able to improve the activity and learning outcomes of class X IPA.2 students of SMA Negeri 1 Rambah in interpreting the text of reports on observations orally.

Thematic learning involves several subjects to provide meaningful learning experiences for students by paying attention to regional characteristics and promoting cultural values as local wisdom. The role of the media in the thematic learning process is very important. The presence of media can support the learning process, facilitate students in understanding learning materials, and improve the quality of teacher teaching which will have an impact on the quality of student learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to find out the learning outcomes in the application of the development of Pop-Up Book thematic learning media based on Riau local wisdom in the grade IV of Elementary School. This type of research is classroom action research consisting of one cycle. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 08 Rambah. The data collection technique performed is a formative test in the form of a written test. Data are analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The results value of completeness in the first meeting was 76.14% and increased in the second meeting which was 90.47 % with an average completeness of 83.33%. This means that it has achieved complete completeness in the classical 80% with a very good category. It can be concluded that the application of Pop-Up Book thematic learning media based on Riau local wisdom can improve the learning outcomes of grade IV elementary school students.

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan peningkatan proses dan hasil keterampilan menulis fantasi melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe picture and picture siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 7 Tambusai tahun pelajaran 2019/2020. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (Action Research). Metodologi penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa SMP Negeri 7 Tambusai yang berjumlah 30 orang. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: (1) penerapan model kooperatif tipe picture and picture dalam menulis cerita fantasi dapat meningkatkan aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran yaitu pada siklus I sebagian besar aktivitas siswa berada pada kategori hampir cukup dan meningkat pada siklus II menjadi baik sekali. (2) Penerapan model kooperatif tipe picture and picture dapat meningkatkan tindakan guru dalam pembelajaran menulis cerita fantasi pada siklus I observer I memberi nilai skor 34 (85%) dengan kategori baik. Selanjutnya observer II pada siklus I memberi skor 33 (82,5%) dengan kategori baik, dan pada siklus II penilaian observer I dan Observer II meningkat menjadi skor 37 (92,5%) dengan kategori sangat baik. (3) Penerapan model kooperatif tipe picture and picture dalam pembelajaran menulis cerita fantasi dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 7 Tambusai yaitu pada prasiklus nilai rata-rata kelas 56,21 dengan presentase ketuntasan (16,66%), pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 59,33 dengan persentase (53,33%), dan meningkat lagi pada siklus II menjadi 81,77 dengan persentase ketuntasan (90%). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model kooperatif tipe picture and picture dapat meningkatkan proses dan hasil belajar siswa dalam menulis cerita fantasi pada siswa kelas VII.

This study aims to find out (1) empirical data on the influence of jigsaw type cooperative learning on the reading comprehension skills of grade VII students of SMP N I Kecamatan Guguak, and (2) to know empirical data of conventional learning influence on reading comprehension skills of grade VII students of SMP N I Kecamatan Guguak.. Data analysis shows that, jigsaw type cooperative learning is influential in comprehension reading skills. This is evidenced by the increase in student value, the mean time of the mean value is 57.76. After applying jigsaw type cooperative learning in the learning process in this class, obtained the improvement of student learning outcomes with the average value 78.06. While conventional learning is also influential, although the increase in value is not too high. The preetest time average value is 63.33. After applying conventional learning, there is an increase of student learning outcomes with average score 71,05. Thus, the learning outcomes of experimental class students taught by jigsaw type cooperative learning are better than the students' control class learning outcomes taught by conventional learning. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa dalam menulis teks prosedur kompleks pada siswa kelas X TKJ SMK Pemdes Ujungbatu Tahun Ajaran 2019/2020.Hal ini disebabkan karena aktivitas siswa tidak mendukung tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran yaitu kurangnya keaktifan dan konsentrasi siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan peningkatan proses dan hasil pembelajaran keterampilan menulis teks prosedur kompleks melalui Take and Give pada siswa kelas X TKJ SMK Pemdes Ujungbatu Tahun Ajaran 2019/2020. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (classroom action research). Metode penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X yang berjumlah 32 orang. Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) penerapan model Take and Give dalam menulis teks prosedur kompleks dapat meningkatkan kualitas aktivitas siswa dari siklus I yang berada pada kategori cukup baik dengan skor 263 (82,19%) menjadi kategori baik dengan skor 246 (76,87 %) pada siklus II, dan (2) terjadi peningkatan ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa dari prasiklus yang semula 15,26 % dengan rata-rata kelas 64,68meningkat pada Siklus I menjadi 71,87 % dengan rata-rata kelas 76,09, dan meningkat lagi menjadi 90,62 % pada Siklus II dengan rata-rata kelas 83,12.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model Take and Give dalam menulis teks prosedur kompleks dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa kelas X TKJ SMK Pemdes Ujungbatu Tahun Ajaran 2019/2020.

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa dalam menceritakan kembali teks fabel pada siswa kelas VII.1 SMP IT Inayah Ujung Batu Tahun Pelajaran 2019/2020. Hal ini disebabkan karena aktivitas siswa yang tidak kondusif untuk mengikuti pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan peningkatan proses dan hasil pembelajaran keterampilan menceritakan kembali teks fabel menggunakan media Shadow Puppet pada Siswa Kelas VII.1 SMP IT Inayah Ujungbatu Tahun Pelajaran 2019/2020. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (classroom action research). Metode penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII.1 yang berjumlah 26 orang. Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) penggunaan media Shadow Puppet dalam menceritakan kembali teks fabel pada siswa kelas VII.1 dapat meningkatkan kualitas aktivitas siswa dari siklus I yang dominan berada pada kategori cukup baik dengan persentase 43,85 % menjadi kategori baik juga dengan persentase 43,85 % pada siklus II, dan (2) terjadi peningkatan ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa dari prasiklus sebesar 19,23 % dengan rata-rata kelas 51,53 menjadi 61,53 % dengan rata-rata kelas 78,61 pada Siklus I, dan meningkat lagi menjadi 92,31 % pada Siklus II dengan rata-rata kelas 84,98. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media Shadow Puppetdalam menceritakan kembali teks fabel dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa kelas VII.1 SMP IT Inayah Ujungbatu Tahun Pelajaran 2019/2020.

Tindak tutur yang digunakan oleh si penutur mampu mempengaruhi mitra tuturnya untuk melakukan suatu tindakan yang diinginkan oleh penutur. Dalam novel banyak terdapat tindak tutur ekspresif yang digunakan oleh tokoh, terutama dalam novel Hujan. Oleh karena itu, perlu diadakan penelitian tindak tutur ekspresif dalam novel Hujan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk tindak tutur ekspresif dalam novel Hujan karya Tere Liye dan mendeskripsikan makna dalam tindak tutur ekspresif sesuai dengan konteks yang terdapat dalam novel Hujan karya Tere Liye. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, bentuk tindak tutur ekspresif dalam novel Hujan karya Tere Liye adalah Tindak tutur ekspresif berterimakasih terdapat sebanyak 14 tuturan dengan makna sebagai bentuk balas budi setelah menerima suatu kebaikan, tindak tutur ekspresif memberi selamat terdapat sebanyak 9 tuturan dengan makna ucapan yang mengandung doa atau harapan supaya sejahtera, tindak tutur ekspresif meminta maaf terdapat sebanyak 27 tuturan dengan makna ucapan permintaan ampun atau penyesalan, tindak tutur ekspresif menyalahkan terdapat sebanyak 9 tuturan dengan makna menyatakan salah, tindak tutur ekspresif memuji terdapat sebanyak 30 tuturan dengan makna ungkapan yang menggambarkan rasa kagum atau penghargaan, dan tindak tutur ekspresif berbelasungkawa terdapat sebanyak 3 tuturan dengan makna ungkapan yang menggambarkan rasa duka. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa bentuk tindak tutur ekspresif yang paling banyak digunakan dalam novel Hujan karya Tere Liye adalah tindak tutur ekspresif memuji dengan makna ungkapan yang menggambarkan rasa kagum atau penghargaan.
