Abstract

Background: Appendicitis is defined as inflammation of the vermiform appendix (worm bag) which is the most common emergency surgery in children and young adults with abdominal pain. Appendicitis is thought to be caused by obstruction of the appendix lumen by faecalith, fecal stasis, lymphoid hyperplasia or caecal neoplasm, and various infections by pathogens. Appendicitis occurs more in men than in women with a ratio of 1:4 events and strikes at an average age of 10 to 30 years. Aims: Knowing the comparison of the number of leukocytes in patients with acute appendicitis and appendicitis with perforation. Method: This type of research is quantitative with observational analytical research design with a cross-sectional approach. Data retrieval uses secondary data by looking at the number of leukocytes in the respondent's medical record. Bivariate analysis with the Non-parametric Man-Whitney test. Results: It is known from the analysis of data on the number of acute appendicitis leukocytes as many as 50 people and Perforation Appendicitis as many as 42 people. Conclusion: There is a significant difference in the number of leukocytes of the Acute Appendicitis group with Perforated Appendicitis.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Covid-19 is an infectious disease caused by the newly discovered corona virus. There are several symptoms that are often caused by Covid-19, including: fever, dry cough, shortness of breath, muscle aches, stuffy nose, flu, headache, conjunctivitis, sore throat, diarrhea and skin rashes. The heaviest cases in COVID-19 patients can cause acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), sepsis and septic shock, multi-organ failure, including acute kidney or heart failure and even death. To find out the description of the clinical symptoms of patients with confirmed COVID-19 at H. Abdul Moeloek Hospital Bandar Lampung in 2021. The  type of research used in this research is descriptive quantitative with this research design using cross-sectional. Sampling was done by purposive sampling method and 300 people met the inclusion criteria. Data analysis using univariate test. It is known that most of the respondents were male (52.3%), aged 46-55 years (20.7%), the most common symptom was cough (75.33%), did not have comorbidities (68%). ), the most chest X-ray images in Covid-19 patients were infiltrates (80.3%), had normal. From the results of the univariate analysis, it was found that the clinical symptom description in patients with confirmed Covid-19 at the H. Abdul Moeloek Hospital Bandar Lampung illustrates that the moderate symptom group is the highest severity with the most common symptoms being cough, fever, shortness of breath and anosmia. Of the 300 samples of confirmed COVID-19 patients, 37 patients died from comorbidities, namely hypertension experienced in the late elderly (56-65 years) and seniors (> 65 years). It is recommended that the public is expected to increase their knowledge about the clinical symptoms of confirmed COVID-19 patients, handling confirmed COVID-19 patients, using masks, maintaining distance, how to wash hands, and vaccinating.  Keywords: Knowledge, education, COVID-19, vaccination COVID-19. ABSTRAK Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) adalah penyakit menular yang disebabkan Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). Penanganan COVID-19 yang harus dilaksanakan salah satunya vaksin COVID-19. Tujuan vaksinasi adalah mengurangi penularan, menurunkan angka kesakitan, kematian, mencapai kekebalan kelompok di masyarakat dan melindungi masyarakat dari COVID-19. Namun berdasarkan hasil presurvei didapatkan 7 (70%) dari 10 (100%) orang tidak patuh dilakukan vaksinasi COVID-19. Diketahui hubungan tingkat pengetahuan dan pendidikan terhadap kepatuhan divaksinasi COVID-19 pada masyarakat wilayah kerja Puskesmas Rajabasa Indah Tahun 2021. Penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan penelitian analitik observasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik accidental sampling sebanyak 214 responden dengan kuesioner selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan uji Chi- Square. Didapatkan distribusi pengetahuan dan pendidikan dari 214 responden paling banyak pengetahuan baik 117 (54,7%) responden, pendidikan tinggi 112 (52,3%) responden, dan distribusi kepatuhan didapatkan terbanyak patuh divaksinasi COVID-19 132 (61,7%) responden. Dari hasil analisis univariat diperoleh bahwa gambaran gejala klinis pada pasien yang terkonfirmasi Covid-19 di RSUD H. Abdul Moeloek Bandar Lampung menggambarkan bahwa kelompok gejala sedang menjadi tingkat keparahan tertinggi dengan gejala tersering batuk,demam,sesak serta anosmia. Dari 300 sampel pasien terkonfirmasi covid-19 sebanyak 37 pasien meninggal akibat penyakit penyerta yaitu hipertensi yang dialami pada usia lansia akhir (56-65 tahun) dan manula ( > 65 tahun ). Disarankan bagi masyarakat diharapkan menambah pengetahuan mengenai  gambaran gejala klinis pasien yang terkonfirmasi COVID-19, penanganan pasien terkonfirmasi COVID-19, penggunaan masker, menjaga jarak, cara mencuci tangan, serta melakukan vaksinasi.Kata Kunci: Pengetahuan, pendidikan, COVID-19, vaksinasi COVID-19

Abstract

ABSTRAK COVID-19 menyebabkan penyakit yang menyerang sistem pernapasan pada manusia. Virus ini telah menginfeksi jutaan orang sehingga menyebabkan angka kematian yang tinggi bagi penderitannya di seluruh dunia. Masyarakat yang tinggal di sekitar puskesmas kota sangat rentan terhadap penularan COVID-19. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi dan pendampingan kepada masyarakat di sekitar puskesmas rawat inap kota karang untuk menerapkan protokol Kesehatan agar terhindar dari penularan COVID-19. Kegiatan ini juga diikuti dengan pemberian poster, masker dan bertujuan memberikan penyuluhan pencegahan penyebaran virus corona. Kegiatan penyeluhan ini dilakukan pada hari jumat tanggal 18 Desember 2020 oleh 10 orang mahasiswa dan 3 kader puskesmas dengan penyuluhan tersebut masyarakat menjadi lebih mengetahui pentingnya menjaga protokol Kesehatan dan mengetahui cara pencegahan penyebaran virus corona. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah meningkatnya pengetahuan masyarakat tentang pentingnya protokol Kesehatan dan cara pencegahan penularan virus corona.Kata Kunci: Penyuluhan, Covid-19, Masyarakat ABSTRACT COVID-19 causes diseases that affect the human respiratory system. The coronavirus has infected millions of people around the world causing high death rates among the patients. People living in the vicinity of the Public Health Center (PHC) are particularly vulnerable to COVID-19 transmission. This activity aimed to provide education and assistance to the community around the PHC in Tanjung Karang City to implement health protocols that help avoid the transmission of COVID-19. This activity was also followed by distributing posters and masks, and counseling to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. This activity was conducted on Friday, December 18, 2020, by 10 students and 3 PHC staff. Through counseling, the community became more aware of the importance of maintaining health protocols and understanding how to prevent the spread of coronavirus. Abstract

ABSTRAK kanker payudara merupakan penyebab kematian tertinggi pada wanita. Kematian akibat kanker payudara disebabkan keterlambatan dalam diagnosis. Pemeriksaan payudara sendiri (SADARI) adalah salah satu metode untuk deteksi dini kanker payudara, dengan melakukan metode ini dan mengetahui lebih awal terbukti dapat menurunkan angka kematian penderita kanker payudara. Selain itu Kanker leher rahim (Ca Cervix) adalah kanker terbanyak kedua yang menyebabkan kematian setelah kanker payudara yang diderita oleh perempuan di Indonesia. Tujuan Promosi kesehatan ini agar masyarakat khususnya perempuan dapat mengetahui dan mencegah kanker servik dan kanker payudara. Metode penyuluhan dilakukan kepada masyarakat khususnya perempuan di wilayah puskesmas beringin raya. Pelaksaanan kegiatan Orientasi kesehatan  bekerja sama dengan Puskesmas Beringin Raya dan dibantu oleh mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran Umum Universitas malahayati Bandar Lampung angkatan 2017 yang dilaksanakan pada bulan Desember 2020. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah Peserta penyuluhan dapat memahami dan mengerti untuk untuk melakukan pemeriksaan serta pencegahan kanker payudara dan kanker leher rahim.   Kata kunci : Orientasi, IVA , SADARI. ABSTRACT breast cancer is the leading cause of death in women. Breast cancer deaths caused by a delay in diagnosis. Breast self-examination (SADARI) is a method for early detection of breast cancer, using this method and knowing it early has been proven to reduce the mortality rate for breast cancer sufferers. In addition, cervical cancer (Ca Cervix) is the second most common cancer causing death after breast cancer in women in Indonesia. The purpose of this health promotion is so that people, especially women, can find out and prevent cervical cancer and breast cancer. The extension method is carried out to the community, especially women in the area of the Beringin Raya community health center. Implementation of health orientation activities in collaboration with the Beringin Raya Community Health Center and assisted by students from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Malahayati Bandar Lampung, class of 2017 which was held in December 2020.
