Abstract

Background: Appendicitis is defined as inflammation of the vermiform appendix (worm bag) which is the most common emergency surgery in children and young adults with abdominal pain. Appendicitis is thought to be caused by obstruction of the appendix lumen by faecalith, fecal stasis, lymphoid hyperplasia or caecal neoplasm, and various infections by pathogens. Appendicitis occurs more in men than in women with a ratio of 1:4 events and strikes at an average age of 10 to 30 years. Aims: Knowing the comparison of the number of leukocytes in patients with acute appendicitis and appendicitis with perforation. Method: This type of research is quantitative with observational analytical research design with a cross-sectional approach. Data retrieval uses secondary data by looking at the number of leukocytes in the respondent's medical record. Bivariate analysis with the Non-parametric Man-Whitney test. Results: It is known from the analysis of data on the number of acute appendicitis leukocytes as many as 50 people and Perforation Appendicitis as many as 42 people. Conclusion: There is a significant difference in the number of leukocytes of the Acute Appendicitis group with Perforated Appendicitis.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Berdasarkan keterangan, kecamatan Langkapura merupakan satu dari empat belas Kecamatan yang termasuk dalam kategori zona merah di Bandar Lampung. Pada 14 maret 2020, ditemukan pasien positif COVID-19 pertama di Lampung yaitu warga salah satu kelurahan di wilayah administratif Kecamatan Langkapura. Oleh karena itu peran kader sangat di perlukan dalam pelayanan. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan dengan memberikan pengetahuan. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk meniningkatkan pengetahuan mengenai covid. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dibantu oleh FK malahayati pada bulan Desember 2020. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah meningkatnya pengetahuan kader sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penyuluhan pada kader sangat efektif. Kata Kunci: Penyuluhan, kader, covid. ABSTRACT Based on information, Langkapura sub-district is one of fourteen sub-districts included in the red zone category in Bandar Lampung. On March 14, 2020, the first positive COVID- 19 patient was found in Lampung, a resident of a sub-district in the administrative area of Langkapura District. Therefore, the role of cadres is needed in service. One of the efforts that can be done by providing knowledge. The purpose of this activity is to increase knowledge about Covid. The implementation of activities assisted by FK malahayati in December 2020. Abstract

ABSTRAK Dalam kehidupan era globalisasi saat ini terjadi suatu wabah yaitu pandemi COVID-19 dimana munculnya patogen baru yang berkembang secara  pesat. COVID - 19 dapat menyebar dari orang ke orang terutama ketika orang yang terinfeksi melakukan kontak dekat dengan orang lain. Salah satu upaya untuk memutus rantai penyebaran COVID-19 adalah dengan melakukan pencegahan COVID-19 yang diperlukan pemahaman dan pengetahuan serta perilaku yang baik dan benar dari seluruh elemen termasuk anggota masyarakat.Tujuan kegiatan penyuluhan ini untuk menambah wawasan serta pengetahuan bagi masyarakat dan dapat meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat untuk melakukan upaya pencegahan dan perlindungan diri serta menjalankan protokol kesehatan selama masa pandemik COVID-19. Kegiatan ini dilakukan di Puskesmas Pinang Jaya Bandar Lampung. Kegiatan ini diawali dengan memberikan pertanyaan seputar pengetahuan tentang COVID-19. Dilanjutkan dengan memberikan materi menggunakan power point dan memberikan leaflet. Hasil kegiatan ini adalah didapatkan peningkatan pengetahuan tentang COVID-19 sebanyak 90%. Kegiatan ini merupakan langkah awal untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan guna menjalankan menjalankan kehidupan sehari-hari. Kata Kunci : Penyuluhan, COVID-19, Protokol Kesehatan  ABSTRACT In the current era of globalization, an epidemic has occurred, namely the COVID-19 pandemic, in which the emergence of new pathogens is developing rapidly. COVID-19 can spread from person to person especially when an infected person comes into close contact with other people. One of the efforts to break the chain of the spread of COVID-19 is to prevent COVID-19 which requires good and correct understanding and knowledge and behavior from all elements including members of the community. The purpose of this outreach activity is to add insight and knowledge for the community and to increase awareness community to make efforts to prevent and protect themselves and to carry out health protocols during the COVID-19 pandemic. This activity was carried out at the Pinang Jaya Bandar Lampung Community Health Center. This activity begins with asking questions about knowledge about COVID-19. Followed by providing material using power points and giving leaflets. The result of this activity was a 90% increase in knowledge about COVID-19. This activity is the first step to increase knowledge in order to carry out daily life. Keywords: Counseling, COVID-19, Health Protocol

Abstract

ABSTRAK Menurut World Health Organization (WHO) tahun 2011 jumlah penderita diabetes melitus di dunia 200 juta jiwa, Indonesia menempati urutan keempat terbesar dalam jumlah penderita diabetes melitus di dunia setelah India, Cina,dan Amerika Serikat. Pada tahun 2011,terdapat sekitar 5,6 juta penduduk Indonesia yang mengidap diabetes mellitus. Sementara itu di Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi Lampung tercatat bahwa pada tahun 2014 persentase penderita DM tipe II sejumlah 1,5% per 100.000 atau sebanyak 5.560. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan akan pentingnya menjaga kesehatan untuk mencegah terjadinya Diabetes Mellitus. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini yaitu penyuluhan kepada masyarakat yang mengunjungi Puskesmas Rawat Inap Sukaraja Bandar Lampung. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dibantu oleh mahasiswa FK Universitas Malahayati Bandar Lampung pada 22 Desember 2020. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah meningkatnya pengetahuan masyarakat sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penyuluhan pada masyarakat sangat efektif. Kata Kunci: Penyuluhan, Diabetes Melitus, Masyarakat ABSTRACT According to the World Health Organization (WHO) in 2011 the number of diabetes mellitus sufferers in the world was 200 million people, Indonesia was fourth in the number of diabetes mellitus sufferers in the world after India, China and the United States. In 2011, there were approximately 5.6 million Indonesians who had diabetes mellitus. Meanwhile in the Lampung Provincial Health Office, it was recorded that in 2014 the proportion of people with type II DM was 1.5% per 100,000 or as much as 5,560. The purpose of this activity is to increase knowledge about maintaining health to prevent Diabetes Mellitus. The method used in this activity was counseling to the public who visited the Sukaraja Bandar Lampung Puskesmas. Implementation of activities assisted by students of FK Malahayati University in Bandar Lampung on December 22, 2020.
