Abstract

Condom use is a person's behavior in using condoms to prevent pregnancy and illnesses such as HIV / AIDS. Data of Riau Province Health Office shows Pekanbaru City every year contributed the biggest HIV / AIDS case from 1997-2015 that is 894 cases of HIV and 833 AIDS cases, this is because there are still prostitutes who do not use condom during sexual intercourse. The purpose of this research is to know the behavior of PSK with knowledge, attitude, availability of condom, pimping support, health officer role to condom use in HIV / AIDS prevention effort at Perum Jondul Lama Pekanbaru City Year 2017. This research method is quantitative analytic cross sectional design. The sample of this study were 93 people. The sampling technique is saturated samling. The analysis used is univariate and bivariate analysis with Chi-Square test, measuring instrument used is questionnaire and data processing using computerization. The result showed that there was a correlation between knowledge ρ value 0,000, POR value = 9,146 (3,531-23,690), attitude ρ value 0,000, POR value = 30,694 (9,818-95,962), condom availability ρ value 0,000, POR value = 8,929 (3,386-23,545) , pimp support ρ value 0,000, POR value = 6,888 (2,728-17,390), health officer role ρ value, 0.001, POR value = 5,046 (2,057-12,379) Against condom use behavior. It is suggested to pimps to make mandatory rules to use condoms to both sex workers and their clients, so that the incidence of HIV / AIDS can be minimized

Abstract

Pipa adalah cara paling ekonomis dan paling aman dalam mendistribusikan hasil produk seperti air, petrokimia, gas, dan cairan lainnya. Terlepas dari manfaat tersebut, ternyata pipa memiliki ancaman yaitu potensi kebocoran. Artikel ini membahas pendeteksian kebocoran pipa air menggunakan parameter debit aliran. Pengujian dilakukan pada dua format dataset, menggunakan raw dataset dan process dataset menggunakan metode volume balance. Pada proses pembelajaran ada beberapa hal yang perlu disoroti seperti pemilihan tipe dataset, pre-processing dengan menormalisasi dataset, dan menerapkan metode fungsi kernel untuk meningkatkan kinerja akurasi prediksi ukuran dan lokasi kebocoran pipa. Dataset dilatih menggunakan algortima SVM untuk mengklasifikasikan ukuran dan lokasi kebocoran pipa. Hasil klasfikasi ukuran kebocoran dengan fungsi kernel polynomial pada raw dataset mencapai akurasi sebesar 98,25%, recall 99,1%, presisi 99,8%, dan F-measure 99,5%. Sedangkan fungsi kernel Radial Basis Function pada process dataset mencapai akurasi tertinggi sebesar 89,7%, recall 94,4%, presisi 95,4%,  dan F-measure 94,6%. Dalam hal mengidentifkasikan lokasi kebocoran, fungsi kernel polynomial pada raw dataset meningkatkan akurasi sebesar 88,96%, recall 94,7%, presisi 91,5%, dan F-measure 92,8%. Sedangkan fungsi kernel polynomial pada process dataset mencapai akurasi sebesar 74,42%, recall 74,1%, presisi 72,8%, dan F-measure 71,3%.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe decision maker should now what factors which influence a variable so that can formulate the appropriate policy to control it. This research is willing to analyze the impact of money supply, exchange rate Rp/US$, interest rate, and rice prices to the inflation in Indonesia.This research uses ARCH/GARCH model selection by comparing one model to another. The best model was chosen by considering some criteria, like: R2 value, adjusted R2 value, AIC & SIC value, significance look up, and detection the violations of classical assumption. After going through selection process, and then it was decided to choose EGARCH-M 2.2 as the best model.The regression output using EGARCH-M 2.2 (by including log variance to the mean equation) and including rice prices into variance regressor, the result showed that money supply, exchange rate, rice prices individually has positive and significant relationship to the inflation in Indonesia. Otherwise, interest rate has positive but not significant to the inflation in Indonesia.

Abstract

In recent years, electric vehicles (EVs) have experienced rapid growth, with increasing demand for more efficient and safer battery technologies. Lithium-ion (Li-ion) batteries have become the primary choice due to their high energy density and long cycle life. However, one major challenge faced is effective thermal management. Poorly managed temperatures can lead to battery performance degradation, shorten battery life, and even pose a fire risk (Wang et al., 2020). Therefore, this study focuses on optimizing the thermal management system for Li-ion battery packs using phase change materials (PCMs) and advanced heat exchangers.

Abstract

Zala Red Ginger SME is a micro-enterprise in South Lampung engaged in the production of processed red ginger. However, this business faces various obstacles, such as limited product diversification and production tools, as well as suboptimal use of digital marketing. These conditions have resulted in low production capacity and limited market access. This activity was carried out to address these problems by encouraging innovation in red ginger-based products while strengthening the digitalization of partner businesses. The purpose of this activity is to improve partner welfare through ginger product diversification, the application of technology in the production process, and the optimization of digital marketing to increase business competitiveness in the digital economy era. Implementation methods include socialization, training, technology application, mentoring and evaluation, which are carried out in a participatory manner with partners. The results of the activity implementation show a significant increase in several aspects of partner capacity. Knowledge of digital marketing strategies increased from 60% to 80%, readiness in utilizing production technology increased from 40% to 80%, while professional mindsets developed rapidly from 50% to 100%. Comparison of conditions before and after the activity indicates that participants not only gained additional conceptual insight, but also developed practical skills and demonstrated more modern and adaptive changes in attitudes in business management.
