Abstract

The development of technology push security system applications on android smartphone to develop one of its features that is detection of the object. The detection of Objects is a technology that allows us to identify or verify an object through a digital image by matching the texture of the object with the curve of the data objects stored in the database. For example, to match the curve of the face such as the nose, eyes and chin. There are several methods to support the work of object detection among which edge detection. Edge detection can represent the objects contained in the image of the shape and size as well as information about the texture of an object. the best method of edge detection is canny edge detection which has the minimum error rate compared with other edge detection methods. Canny edge detection will generate the image that has been processed into a new image. The new image will be stored on a database that will be matched to the image of a new object that is used as the opening applications on android smartphone.

Abstract

VANET (Vehicular Ad-hoc Network) is an ad-hoc wireless network which nodes are composed by mostly moving vehicles and infrastructure communications or access points along the road. It integrates adhoc networking, cellular technology, wireless LAN and other technologies, which include GPS(Global Positioning System), digital mapping, sensing technologies and advanced information processing tools to support Intelligent Traffic Systems (ITS). VANET is developed mainly to improve road safety and to increase the traffic efficiency. It is designed to support the exchange of warning messages among the vehicles to increase the passenger safety and other information related to VANET applications and services . To achieve these goals, there are several issues that should be addressed. One of these challenges is designing reliable and efficient Medium Access Control (MAC) protocol for VANET. Due to VANET’s distinguishing characteristics, such as high mobility of the nodes, dynamic network topology, enough battery power, high processing power, etc, the MAC protocols designed for MANET (Mobile Ad-hoc Network) are not suitable for VANET. The research community has been working to develop MAC protocols appropriate for this ad-hoc network by proposing new design or modifying the existing one.In this paper, the VANET’s architecture, characteristics, applications and standard are discussed and then a comprehensive study of several MAC protocols available in the literature is presented.

Abstract

In a decision-making process, decision makers are often faced with various problems that come from the diversity criteria. Related to this, the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) can be used to resolve such issues. One is the assessment of islamic university lecturer performance who rely on the criteria of integrity, professional competence, and performance. For the sake of effectiveness of an islamic higher education institution, required a software decision support system such as EC (Expert Choice) that can process data in order to recommend a decision regarding the performance of lecturers that will affect the class and salary increment.

Abstract

As an appreciation to their customer, PT Pinjam Indonesia has a Gold product. Gold is a product that allows customer to get 10% discount of total bill every 6 months, and is given to two customers. Until now, PT Pinjam Indonesia has difficulties in deciding which customer from Online mortgage system deserves to be rewarded with the Gold product, this problem occurs because of the many numbers of customer in the system. Therefore, Decision Support System is needed to help speed up and make the deciding process easier. Decision Support System decide the highest alternative value that deserves to receive the Gold product using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method wtih prescribedcriterias. The basic concept of Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method is to find the weighted additive from performance rating of every alternative’s attributes. SAW method needs a normalization process of the decision matrix to a scale that can be compared with every rated alternatives. A calculation process is applied to all the criterias to get the result of which alternative is best to receive the Gold product. This method could help the decision making process to be more objective.

Abstract

Salah satu fasilitas yang disediakan telepon seluler untuk melakukan pengiriman data berupa pesan singkat yaitu melalui SMS (Short Message Service). Seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi tersebut, timbul pertanyaan mengenai keamanan informasi jika seseorang ingin menyimpan suatu informasi rahasia dengan menyimpan pesan SMS. Secara umum penyimpanan pesan SMS tidak menjamin kerahasiaan pesan yang disimpan oleh pengguna. Sebuah informasi umumnya hanya ditujukan bagi segolongan tertentu. Oleh karena itu sangatlah penting untuk mencegahnya agar tidak jatuh kepada pihak-pihak yang tidak berhak. Untuk keperluan tersebut, maka diperlukan sebuah teknik kriptografi dengan metode enkripsi dan dekripsi pesan. Dengan memanfaatkan algoritma kriptografi Triple DES, penulis membuat suatu aplikasi pengiriman pesan secara tersandikan pada telepon seluler yang berbasis android untuk mengamankan suatu informasi yangdisimpan atau yang dikirimkan oleh pengguna. Metode yang digunakan dalam membangun aplikasi ini yaitu Metode Waterfall. Metode dimulai dari pendefinisian kebutuhan lalu analisa, desain, implementasi, pengujian dan pemeliharaan aplikasi. Dengan adanya aplikasi pengenkripsian pesan ini diharapkan pengguna dapat mengirimkan atau menyimpan suatu informasi rahasia tanpa takut diketahui isi informasi tersebut oleh orang lain.

Abstract

Penerapan pemodelan obyek rangka berupa garis lurus dan lingkaran serta pembuatan gambar antara melalui persamaan garis lurus pada aplikasi Amorik 2.0 perlu dikembangkan agar lebih menggambarkan model berbentuk dua dimensi dan menghasilkan gerakkan melengkung yang lebih baik. Metodologi daur hidup dengan tiga putaran perbaikan (siklus), diawali melalui studi pustaka pengembangan model obyek rangka menggunakan metode dua garis singgung pada dua lingkaran dan pembuatan gambar-gambar antara menggunakan persamaan Kurva Bezier orde dua. Pengembangan aplikasi sederhana untuk pemodelan dan pembuatan gerakkan animasi secara vektor dan pengujian melalui observasi penggunaan aplikasi diimplementasikan didalam empat kelas laboratorium dengan pengguna masing-masing kelas 30 orang tingkat mahasiswa, siswa SMA, dan siswa SMP. Berdasarkan hasil ujicoba didapatkan hasil berupa pemodelan obyek rangka dua dimensi berupa model orang yang dapat menghasilkan gambar kunci (keyframe) lebih luwes dan aplikasi dapat menghasilkan gerakan melengkung dari obyek dan komponen obyek lebih luwes.

Abstract

Perguruan tinggi adalah satuan pendidikan penyelenggara pendidikan tinggi. Ujung tombak kegiatan pembelajaran di Perguruan Tinggi berada di Program Studi. Program studi harus mampu mengatur diri sendiri serta memberikan pelayanan prima. Dalam upaya meningkatkan efisiensi, efektivitas, transparansi dan akuntabilitas penyelenggaraan program studi maka perlu adanya Sistem Informasi Akademik. Salah satu komponen penting dalam kegiatan pembelajaran adalah Jadwal Perkuliahan. Jadwal Perkuliahan adalah daftar yang memuat atau berisi nama mata kuliah, dosen mata kuliah, waktu, ruang perkuliahan dan lain sebagainya. Jadwal Perkuliahan harus sudah tersedia sebelum kegiatan pelaksanaan perkuliahan dilaksanakan. Membangun Jadwal Perkuliahan untuk suatu program studi yang besar memang merupakan suatu pekerjaan yang kompleks, sehingga dalam pelaksanaannya sering terjadi tabrakan jam, ruang, dosen mempunyai jadwal yang sama untuk mata kuliah yang berbeda, mahasiswa mengikuti perkuliahan pada waktu yang sama pada mata kuliah yang berbeda dan lain sebagainya. Hal ini jika dilihat sepintas merupakan masalah yang ringan, namun jika dibiarkan akan sangat berpengaruh pada kegiatan akademik secara keseluruhan. Oleh karena itu, Jadwal Perkuliahan sebaiknya dimasukkan sebagai bagian dari program Sistem Informasi Akademik.

Abstract

Rejuvenation classroom is a reference to the Directorate of Primary School activity conducted on an ongoing basis. So the availability, truth and certainty of information from the renovation must show current conditions in order to meet the needs of the coaching process, accountability and financial audit, as well as in the management of data rejuvenation should be integrated in one unified database. Then it is necessary to build an application that is able to manage the process of rejuvenation consistently. In the design of the governance renewal application classrooms, use agile software development methodology with extreme approach to programming process to explain each activity in each phase of the design. Stages of design and implementation is limited to the aid management process module rejuvenation classroom consisting of the proposed input, input the data verification process, the process of filing the disbursement of funds, the process of managing the data returns, and the handling of school accountability reports. With the construction of this rejuvenation governance can help meet the needs of data and information quickly and accurately. So that the information presented can be used as one of the considerations in the process of planning, policy making, monitoring, evaluation and inspection.

Abstract

The information system of student assessment results and the presence of teachers is the most important component in building the school's academic system. With the application of information systems evaluating student grades and teacher attendance, the school can process data related to academic information which includes data on students, teachers, education, subjects, absences, classes, departments, years of teaching, grades, schedule of lessons. he student evaluation information system and teacher absenteeism can be the main points most needed by schools in managing each student's grades and the presence of each teacher. Without an information system on the value and presence of teachers, the school will be very difficult in getting report cards and reports on teacher attendance during teaching. Student evaluation information system and teacher attendance are designed web-based with the method of developing the waterfall system. With the information system evaluation of student evaluations and teacher attendance, it is expected to be able to provide better service to students, teachers and parents in getting information about the value and presence of teachers at the school.

Abstract

Electricity is a very important thing in everyday life, in the absence of electricity all things related to this heat energy will experience obstacles. The densely populated residential area located in Tambora Village, Kosambi District, West Jakarta, are a targeted area for an orderly area of electricity, where some of its people illegally stole electricity. This is very dangerous for users or harm PLN, for that criminal effort must be eradicated through the extension program or orderly socialization in order not to cause a fire. The method used is observation in the area of tambora village by looking at the connection installation used. The objectives of the program of orderly electricity socialization are: to give understanding to the people of Tambora Village due to electrical locking (stolen) and electrical installer failure of fire hazard due to short circuit.
