Abstract

Online transportation, the kind of transportation that lately makes people in the world feel eased in terms of transportation. With enough gadgets and applications, we can order a convenient and cheaper transportation. In fact, online transportation is willing to pick us up at home without us having to hitchhike down the highway and wait for the shuttles. Really very pampered with this online transport. However, the success of online transport in this world, not necessarily free of problems. The application of online transport business growth rate dashed quickly with facilities facilities are quite promising. With an online business model using consumer positioning maps can easily see and align to their needs. Transactions via the Internet is better known by the name of e-commerce and e-business. In general e-commerce is defined as any form of trade transactions of goods or services (trade of goods and services) by using electronic media / computer. Essentially, if there is a physical resource or business process that can currently be digitized, then that is where the e-business concept can be implemented.

Abstract

The rapid development of the Internet requires a counterweight in maintaining connectivity and network stability. connectivity becomes one of the aspects that take priority in a network, and therefore the Internet connection on demand to always be stable and interference free, but not always a connection running smoothly and stable. Usually there are a variety of disorders within a network, hence the need for bakcup management of the network that are running so that if one impaired then there will be a backup. One that can be done is by using load balancing. Subyek taken in this study to focus on the implementation of the source network backup or backup Internet from the dependence of the internet service provider or ISP provider. Load balancing method using Equal Cost Multi-Path, research methods that used are library research, observation and interviews network of PT.Nipindo. As for the design begins with installing mikrotik here in after may be applied load balancing. Technical test carried out by using a ping test is performed to determine whether the connection is running well or not. The result of applying load balancing method shows ECMP load balancing goes well. Load balancing does not change the physical structure of an existing network, so it can produce optimal connections when an increase in traffic due to the balanced distribution of bandwidth.

Abstract

Garbage is one of important issues in the life community, particularly in Indonesia. The volume of garbage heap is increasing along with the increase of public consumption every day, which affects garbage accumulation especially in GEMPEL - BEHI TPST. Therefore, an alternative waste treatment is needed to reduce the volume of waste to be transported to the landfill by utilizing organic waste with anaerobic-digester technology. This condition encourages researchers to design biodigester type fixed dome to optimize waste processing. Based on the research that has been done, Designed anaerobic-digester that had been made can be known the total volume of reactor used is 196,8 m3 to process waste 32,8m3/day. From utilization the anaerobic-digester technology, it provides benefits for the community such as income from the sale of economic value of waste are Rp. 58.795.750,- per month and value of expenses are Rp 52.320.000,- per month with pay back period are 6 month. So with the design, it occurs environmental conservation efforts as one step to improve human welfare and realize the sustainability of natural resources.

Abstract

The research purpose is implementing the information communication technology (ICT) as a tool to describe purchase service process to make easy the information communication technology usage and also supporting customer relationship management (CRM). The research is also describing how to improve the advantage of efficiency, effectives, performance as well as company productivity improvement to obtained supporting customer relationship management (CRM). This research uses descriptive analytical by presenting a summary of interviews, using observation, and discuss with expert respondent using focus group discussion, literature review as well as using flowchart diagram, entity relationship diagram (ERD) and data flow diagram (DFD). The information communication technology (ICT) usage in this research by using short messages service (SMS) and design tools application in the form of a flowchart diagram, entity relationship diagram (ERD) and data flow diagram (DFD) approach used in this research were able to solve the purchase service problem and provide the best information result and computerized.

Abstract

This research on the utilization of coal-ash that is wasted at the coal-fired power plant is conducted with the intention to become an effort to alleviate environmental impact of the power plant. The by-production of such waste in coal-fired power plants is a direct consequence of the rising demand on electricity as one of human basic needs in modern lifestyle. Endeavor to save the environment is a manifestation of the good culture of environmental awareness; indeed, human being shall act responsibly for the soundness of the environment. Some sufficient amounts in different composition of coal bottom-ash from a coal-fired power plant mixed with another medium were implemented toward a variety of plants, i.e. a certain type of Orchid (“Moon” Orchid or Phalaenopsis amabilis), Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) , and Sansevieria. A series of mixed medium with different composition (each particular composition is in triplicate), is prepared consisting of 0%, 25%, 50%. 75%, and 100% of Bottom Ash, consecutively. The observed result shows that Bottom Ash is not suitable for the orchid plant as its medium. This more probably results from the fact that the pH of Bottom Ash tends to be more alkaline, while the Orchid plant would only be growing optimally in acidic - normal condition. In the case of Tomato plant, Bottom Ash is usable to be the plant growing medium; in fact an increase of Bottom Ash percentage expedites the plant growth from its seed to become small plants. Another plant under observation is Sansivieria. Bottom Ash turns out to be suitable as a medium for this plant. In fact, this type of plant remains growing steadily and normally in media with variable percentage of Bottom Ash, all along the research procedure. Bottom Ash contains some nutrient that are beneficial to plants, such as Boron (B), Phosphorus (P) and among other elements are Cu, Zn, Mn, Mo dan Se. Most of coal-ashes tend to be alkaline with pH ranging from 8 to12.

Abstract

Competition increasingly competitive business trigger Muliadana company to be more innovative in improving the quality of the company. One technique used by management companies in improving the quality of human resources is to conduct employee performance appraisal. To the authors try to establish a scoring system using the Graphic Rating Scale (GRS), which is a methodology for assessing the scale of the graph by comparing the individual performance against an absolute standard. The purpose of this valuation method is to minimize the less objective assessment and can determine the development of the employee's performance over several periods. The results of the performance appraisal company can provide feedback to the employees so they can decide the steps taken in making decisions such as: promotion, promotion or class, mutation, degradation as well as training for employees in need.

Abstract

The best or optimation of mobile television broadcast will be got some ways, one of this is the antenna’s control of mobile’s te;evision. The additionals require a fairly thorough calculation with look teposition and the distance fron the transmitter. Amplifier of the antenna is called the booster. That is needed voltage enlarge, the input voltage is 12 volt. In this research use the eksternal booster. Transmit power and receive power od antenna inversely proportional distance. With use antenna and booster DXXN 1508 strengening booster is 40-46 x. If in this calculate we use 45 x , input voltage 12 V, the output voltage will be very lage.

Abstract

Each agency has its own characteristics and given authority in managing its finances. Foundation education and welfare PT.PLN (Persero) (YPK-PLN) has 14 affiliated companies. Each affiliate is required to report their financial periodically to YPK-PLN. The diversity of business fields and different locations makes YPK-PLN difficult to obtain financial position data on each affiliate. This financial report becomes one of the YPK-PLN reference to see the state of its subsidiary. The financial statements should be reported quarterly in a year. These financial statements include the balance sheet financial statements, labels and flows. The purpose of this study is to design and build a system that can unify all the financial statements of each affiliate and then calculated the results of its performance. The result of its performance is calculated dimasksud Operating Ratio, Average Collection Period, Return on Equity, Net Profit Margin, Current Ratio and Debt to Equity Ratio. This research was conducted with waterfall methodology to develop the software. To design the system to be built will use UML 2.0. In the development of the software will be used php language with codeigniter framework. The database used is SQL DBMS MariaDB with Apache 2 as its web server. The results also proved that the Performance Results of the affiliate financial ratios have an important role for YPK-PLN in determining whether to invest shares in the company concerned is the right decision.

Abstract

Premature birth, defined as delivery in pregnant women with gestation age 20 - 36 weeks. Research related to preterm birth has been done by the researchers by using the neural network method. However such research only showcase about the results of the sensitivity and specificity. The results of research using the method of neural network in predicting preterm birth has a value of the resulting accuracy is still less accurate and only limited to presenting the results of the sensitivity and specificity. In this study produced a model of the neural network algorithm and model of neural network algorithm based on particle swarm optimization to get the architecture in predicting preterm birth and gives a more accurate value for accuracy on a data set of RSUPN Cipto Mangunkusumo , RS Sumber Waras and in its entirety. After you are done testing with two models of neural network algorithms and neural network algorithm based on particle swarm optimization and the results obtained are the neural network algorithm generates value accuracy of 94,60%, 96,40%, 91,33%, and AUC values of 0,973, 0,982, 0,953, however, after the addition of the neural network algorithm based on particle swarm optimization value accuracy of 95,20%, 96,80%, 92,40% and AUC values of 0,979 , 0,987, 0,965. So both of these methods has the distinction of accuracy which amounted to 0.60%, 0.40%, 1.07% and AUC value difference of 0.006, 0.005, 0.012.
