Abstract

Humans are faced with countless kinds of social problems, one of which is the problem of social justice. The practice of social injustice has been going on for centuries, including in the nation of Israel. The Bible clearly writes how the prophet Amos voiced justice and rebuked injustice committed by religious leaders and the Northern Kingdom of Israel. The principle of justice is respect for a person's life. The church as an organizer of social justice has a responsibility to embrace the entire life of the congregation, including generation Z, which currently has the largest population in Indonesia. This research aims to highlight the role of the Church as an organizer of social justice for generation Z. The research method used is a qualitative case study with an example from one of the churches in the Kelapa Gading area, North Jakarta. The research results show that the Church can uphold social justice by developing the lives of generation Z, by teaching God's Word and providing the necessary training through the Training Center. So, through the establishment of the Ensample Training Center, the Church has taken a role in implementing social justice for generation Z.

Abstract

The role of parents is very important in educating and teaching their children. There are many things that parents can do in educating and teaching their children so that children become better and achieve. However, there are also problems in teaching and educating children. For this reason, the Tabgha Batam Theological College (ST3B) Christian Religious Education study program conducts Community Service (PkM) in the form of guidance and counseling for parents at the Bethel Indonesia Church (GBI) Taman Laguna Indah Sekupang with the theme "Spiritual Development of Parents of Students Accompanying Children to Learn" on Sunday, July 7, 2024. The implementation of PkM is in the form of lectures, providing examples and the implementation of questions and answers between the parents present and the lecturers who carry out the PkM. The role of parents in supporting children's learning achievement is to nurture, educate, guide, accompany, motivate (Motivator) and be a facilitator. Children who follow directions and get more guidance, teachings, and facilities from their parents will be better at learning.

Abstract

Abstract In Christianity, discipleship can be given to anyone, whether to children, teenagers, young people, even the elderly. Discipleship is an important step that must be applied to every believer. As long as the believer is able to understand and understand what discipleship is, it can be given to them. Preschool age is an age that has an estimated age limit of three to five years and this can accept discipleship, although it needs to be done in a good way that is appropriate to the level of understanding of preschool age children themselves. This really requires special attention in implementing or carrying out this discipleship for them because when they get the discipleship well, they will also accept and do what they get from the discipleship. Discipleship is a strategic step to be implemented even though you have to look at the context so that it can be implemented well and get maximum results because the goal of discipleship itself is how the people in it really get something and then they also experience life changes from the spiritual growth that occurs. in their life.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of inequality in access to technology on student motivation, engagement, and learning outcomes in Batam, as well as explore the influence of artificial intelligence (AI) on their social skills. Inequality of access to technological devices and the internet has the potential to hinder the use of AI in education, worsen academic achievement, and widen the gap in learning and career opportunities in the future. This study uses mixed methods, with quantitative surveys to measure the level of technology access of students, teachers, and parents, as well as qualitative interviews to understand the social and emotional impact of AI use. The results of the study show that students with limited access to technology face obstacles in utilizing digital learning resources, which has an impact on motivation and academic achievement. Although AI is able to improve learning personalization, its use also poses new challenges, such as the decline in direct communication capabilities due to the dominance of digital interactions. Based on these findings, the study recommends strategic measures, such as improving technology infrastructure, device lending programs, and digital skills training for students and teachers. The conclusion of the study emphasizes the need for a balanced approach between technology and social skills development to create an inclusive and equitable learning environment. The implication is that education policies need to support equal access to technology and smart technology integration, so that all students can take optimal advantage of the potential of AI without losing essential social skills in facing the challenges of the modern era

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the use of technology in increasing parental participation in educating children. In today's digital era, technological advances have resulted in various online applications and platforms that support communication between parents and schools, making it easier to exchange information and monitor children's development. This study uses a qualitative method that allows researchers to analyze the effectiveness of various technological tools in encouraging collaboration and communication. The results show that technology not only increases parental engagement, but also contributes to improved child learning outcomes. The increase in the frequency of communication between parents and teachers has a positive impact on children's learning motivation. However, it is important to note that not all parents have the same skills in using technology; Some are proficient, while others may have difficulties. Therefore, the implications of this study emphasize the importance of technology integration in school communication strategies by taking into account parents' technological capabilities, so that all parties can participate optimally in children's education. An inclusive approach in the use of technology is very important to support the role of parents in the development of children's education Keywords: Technology, Involvement, Parents, Children
