Abstract

The population in Depok is growing in line with the growth of garbage produced. This issue should be balanced with the availability of proper waste management facility, such as providing waste collection vehicles. Pesona Khayangan residence is one of the area in Depok which has waste collection door-to-door service. The limited number of waste collection vehicles make it inefficient to reduce the mounting garbage. This research is aimed to determine the optimal route of waste collection in term of time and cost. The Travelling Salesman Problem is used to model the optimization problem. The solution shows that there is time and distance efficiency on the proposed route and it has successfully saved 50.2 minutes and 0.9 km per service operation.Keywords: waste collection, routing, travelling salesman problem

Abstract

Abstract

Desa Pace, khususnya Dusun Curahwungkal, memiliki kerentanan tinggi terhadap bencana longsor dan banjir akibat kondisi topografi berbukit serta pemukiman yang berdekatan dengan bantaran sungai. Faktor seperti kemiringan lereng yang curam, minimnya vegetasi, dan tanah gembur memperburuk risiko bencana ini. Untuk meningkatkan kesiapsiagaan masyarakat, pelatihan bagi warga dan pemuda desa sangat penting, termasuk tentang identifikasi potensi bencana dan teknik pengendalian. Universitas Jember berperan dalam program pengabdian masyarakat untuk mengedukasi warga mengenai mitigasi bencana. Hasil diskusi menyoroti perlunya menjaga drainase dan kesiapan masyarakat menghadapi bencana. Kegiatan pendampingan yang dilakukan mencakup pembuatan peta dan jalur evakuasi serta penentuan titik kumpul evakuasi, yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keselamatan masyarakat dalam situasi darurat.

Abstract

The local government of Pulang Pisau, Central Kalimantan plans to build a municipal solid waste landfill located in Gohong Village, Kahayan Hilir District. The Gohong landfill is planned to be built with a sanitary landfill system located in Gohong Village, Kahayan Hilir District, Pulang Pisau Regency with an area of 64,260 m2. Based on this, it is necessary to conduct an initial environmental study of the initial environmental components before planning and development begin, to then be managed and monitored during the activity. This study uses two types of data, which are secondary data and primary data. Secondary data includes topographic data and rainfall at the construction site, while the primary data used is groundwater and river quality, and water biota analysis. The results of the study on the development plan for the Gohong landfill show that this area has a medium category of rainfall. The soil types at the site of the development plan are podsol and alluvial soil types. The quality of river water around the planned development site is class 4 water type with good groundwater quality and has diverse biological components with healthy ecosystems.
