Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari 2020. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi keragaman SNP (Single Nucleotide Polymorphism) gen myostatin di daerah ekson 3 dan asosiasinya dengan sifat pertumbuhan pada sapi Bali. Materi penelitian menggunakan sampel darah diambil dari 52 ekor sapi bali jantan berasal dari BPTU-HPT Denpasar. Analisis DNA dilakukan secara bertahap yaitu mulai dari mengekstraksi DNA, mengamplifikasi gen MSTN dengan metode PCR dan melakukan sekuensing. Data hasil sekuensing selanjutnya dianalisis dengan menggunakan FinchTV, BioEdit dan MEGA7. Amplifikasi gen MSTN di daerah ekson 3 pada sapi bali berhasil dilakukan pada suhu 60 oC dengan panjang produk 451 pb. Dalam penelitian ini ditemukan 13 SNP dengan Frekuensi alel SNP yang ditemukan berada dalam keadaan equilibrium. Hasil asosiasi SNP Terdapat 3 SNP yaitu c.4900 T>G, c.4905 C>G dan c.4907 C>G yang berpengaruh nyata (P<0.05) terhadap bobot lahir pada sapi bali. Hasil penelitian yang mengungkap hubungan antara beberapa SNP gen MSTN yang berasosiasi dengan bobot lahir diharapkan dapat dijadikan sebagai kandidat penanda genetik bobot lahir sapi bali.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Chicken Cemani is a local Indonesian chicken that has been worldwide. The potential of Cemani chicken is very good, apart from being a chicken used for traditional ceremonies, Cemani chicken has good production potential and has very large export prospects. However, the population is still limited causing many requests that cannot be fulfilled. Maintenance that has not implemented an integrated and traditional supply chain system causes the development of Cemani chicken agribusiness to be slow. The supply chain management system (SCM) is an integrated marketing system that includes the integration of products and actors to provide satisfaction to customers. In the Cemani chicken commodity, the actors and those involved are not clearly known. This study aims to determine the actors involved in the Cemani chicken supply chain and to find out the product flow, as well as the finances contained in the supply chain in Pakis, Malang, East Java. The study was conducted at the Cemani chicken farm in Pakis, Malang, East Java. The location selection was done purposively based on the consideration that the center of the Cemani chicken farm in Indonesia was in Pakis, Malang City, East Java. The research was conducted in November 2020. The research method used is a descriptive survey method. The method of determining respondents is purposive sampling which is based on the supply chain of a farm owned by Mr. Ihsan and Mr. Sigit. Determination of the respondents of traders and consumers in this study was carried out by snowball sampling, namely tracing the supply chain channels of the livestock owned by Mr. Ihsan and Mr. Sigit from traders to consumers in the Java area. Respondents in this study were 2 breeders. The data for product flow obtained were analyzed descriptively while for financial flows were analyzed using margin and efficiency analysis. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the actors in the supply chain of grade I and grade I Cemani chickens are breeders, traders in the city, traders outside the city and consumers. There are three marketing channels in the marketing supply chain for Cemani chicken in Pakis Malang City, namely channel I consisting of Breeders → Traders Outside Malang City → Traders in the City → Consumers. Channel II consists of Farmers → Traders in the City → Consumers and channel III consists of Farmers → Consumers. Sales use online and offline systems. The flow of finance where the selling price is the highest is the out-of-town traders belonging to Mr. Sigit at a price of Rp. 350,000 – Rp. 531,250 / head with the age of 2-5 months. The most efficient marketing channel is that farmers distribute directly to consumers. Keyword : Products flow, financial flow, local chicken

Abstract

Abstract Limousin cattle (Bos Taurus) are beef cattle that have a large, long, body shape, with have advantages of fast body growth, high fertility and easy reproducibility. Myostatin gene is a family of TGF-β which plays a role in muscle growth and meat quality. This study aims to identify diversity of the Single Nucleotide Polymorphism (SNPs) Myostatine gene in the coding region in limousine cattle. Blood samples were taken from 15 limousine cattle from BPTU-HPT Padang Mangatas, West Sumatra Province. SNPs identification is finish by amplifying the coding region using the sequencing method. This study revealed 12 SNPs spread over 2 SNPs in exon 1 (c.400 G>A, c.415 C>A), 8 SNPs in exon 2 (c.2411 C>T, c.2477 G>A, c. .2489 G>A, c.2503 G>A, c.2521 G>A, c.2577 C>T, c.2609 G>A, c.2636 G>A), and in exon 3 find 2 SNPs (c .5107 C>A, c.5113 T>C) are polymorphic with allele frequencies in general being in Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium except for SNP c.2411 C>T which is not in balance. SNPs identified in the MSTN gene of limousine cattle are expected can fungtion as candidate genetic markers, especially for the perfection of beef cattle in Indonesia. Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah terwujudnya Desa Mandiri Sampah untuk menjadikan Desa Sekaran mampu mengelola dan mengolah sampah sendiri serta terciptanya nilai ekonomis bagi masyarakat. Bank Sampah yang terbentuk, menjadi salah satu solusi untuk efektifitas dan efisiensi dalam pengelolaan sampah skala rumah tangga. Bank sampah bertujuan untuk mereduksi sampah yang dihasilkan masyarakat secara terintegrasi sebagai bagian dari mata rantai siklus sampah anorganik. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelaksaanaan adalah program metode Community Developmen yaitu dengan melibatkan peran aktif masyarakat dan khalayak sasaran serta sumber daya local yang terdaat di lokasi program yang dimulai dari tahapan sosialisasi, dan pendampingan dari awal tahapan program sampai pasca program. Bank sampah berhasil didirikan dengan strategi pengolahan sampah 3R dengan tujuan agar masyarakat mampu mengubah imajinasi sebian besar orang terhadap sampah yang tidak memiliki nilai ekonomi. Selain itu terciptanya sitem aplikasi digital yang memudahkan masyarakat dalam pengangkutan dan pengolahan sampah. Keunggulan dari penggunaan sistem aplikasi ini adalah dapat mempermudah pendataan sampah yang akan disetorkan dan juga lebih praktis.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the morphometric characteristics of male Boerka goats and female Boerka goats at different age levels as a basic step of selection in breeding and improving the genetic quality of goats. A total of 25 samples of Boerka goats, namely 10 male Boerka goats and 15 female Boerka goats were used to identify qualitative and qualitative traits at the age levels of 0-6 months, >6-12 months, and >12 months. The morphometric parameters observed consisted of qualitative characteristics, namely the diversity of coat colors, the diversity of horn shapes, the diversity of the color of the legs and the diversity of the front lines. While quantitative traits consist of body weight, height, body length, and chest circumference. The results of qualitative research found that Boerka goats had a dominant diversity of brown white fur color, short and small horns, black and white leg color, and a convex head shape. The average values ​​of body weight, height, body length, and chest circumference of male Boerka goats and female Boerka goats at various age levels were not significantly different except for chest circumference with age group > 12 months

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan tanaman mata lele (lemna minor) pada ransum pakan itik pedaging untuk melihat kualitas fisik dan kolesterol daging itik. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) 4 kali perlakuan 3 kali pengulangan. Variabel yang diamati dari penelitian ini adalah kualitas daging itik yang meliputi nilai Ph, daya ikat air, susut masak dan kolesterol. Menggunakan analisis data yang berupa analisis sidik ragam atau uji ANOVA (analysis of variance) menggunakanRancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Hasil penelitihan ini menunjukkan bahwa Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan analisis sidik ragam menunjukkan bahwa penambahan tanaman mata lele dalam ransum terhadap kualitas fisik dan kolesterol itik pedaging di Dusun Gapuk Desa Sidobinangun Kecamatan Deket Kab Lamongan tidak perpengaruh nyata (P>0,05) terhadap PH, daya ikat air (DIA)/WHC (water holding capacity), susut masak (cooking loss). Kesimpulan dari penelitihan ini adalah Penambahan tanaman mata lele (lemna minor) pada penambahan sebanyak 10% untuk p3 untuk masing-masing perlakuan tidak memberikan pengaruh nyata baik pada nilai PH daging, daya ikat air dan susut masak. dapat dilihat dari perhitungan SPSS, dengan penambahan tanaman mata lele (lemna minor) dalam ransum dapat menurunkan kadar kolesterol pada daging itik dapat dilihat dari perhitungan SPSS, dan dengan penambahan tanaman mata lele (lemna minor) dalam ransum dapat menurunkan kadar kolesterol pada daging itik

Abstract

Tata niaga ialah rangkaian proses penyaluran barang dari produsen kepada konsumen akhir, dalam penyaluranya terdapat lembaga pemasaran yang menyalurkan barang dari waktu ke waktu. Adapun sektor yang sedang di bahaskaliini adalah sektor peternakan, yang dimana mayoritas penduduk di daerah Balongpanggang adalah berprofesi sebagai peternak ayam ras pedaging broiler. Adapun tujuan penelitian kali ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimanarangkaian proses tata niaga yang berlangsung antar produsen dan konsumen, penjual dan pembeli yang ada di Balongpanggang. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian kali ini adalah menggunakan random sampling denganpengambilan data melalui observasi dan melakukan wawancara serta pencatatan lapangan. Data akan di analisis berdasarkan margin, farmer’s share dan analisis biaya dan keuntungan. Adapun hasil yang diperoleh yakni menghasilkan penjualan yang efisien efisien karena memiliki angka margin sebesar Rp. 4000 pada saluran tata niaga 1, dengan nilai farmer’s share sebanyak 85,71%, dengan perolehan rasio keuntungan Rp.1.500 dan Rp. 1.750 serta biaya yang bernilai sebesar Rp.500 dan Rp. 250. Sedangkan saluran tata niaga yang paling efisien berdasarkan kriteria yang sudah ditentukan oleh konsumen adalah saluran tata niaga 2 karena memiliki angka margin sebesar Rp. 3.000, dan nilai farmer’s share sebesar 88,88%, dengan perolehan rasio keuntungan Rp. 2.500 dan biaya yang bernilai sebesar Rp. 500
