Abstract

Indigofera sp adalah jenis tanaman leguminosa dengan genus Indigofera. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh penggunaan tepung daun indigofera sp terhadap penampilan produksi dan lemak darah ayam petelur. Medote yang digunakan adalah percobaan dengan model RAL (rancangan acak lengkap) 4 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan dengan proporsi P1 kontrol, P2 pemberian tepung daun Indigofera sp 2,5 %, P3 pemberian tepung daun Indigofera sp 5 %, dan P4 pemberian tepung daun Indigofera sp 7,5 %. Bahan yang digunakan pada penelitian adalah tepung daun Indigofera sp. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan analisis Ragam menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh perlakuan terhadap konsumsi pakan ayam petelur berbeda nyata (P<0,05), konsumsi pakan tertinggi ( 86,65 ± 0,30b g/ekor ) pada P4 dengan penambahan tepung daun Indigofera sp 7,5 % memberikan hasil terbaik karena peningkatan konsumsi pakan memberikan pengaruh terhadap produksi telur. HDP ( Hen Day Production ), Egg Mass, konversi pakan,  IOFC, kualitas telur terhadap tebal kerabang, skor kuning telur, dan kolesterol kuning telur serta lemak darah meliputi kolesterol total darah, HDL, LDL, dan trigliserida menunjukkan pengaruh tidak berbeda nyata ( P>0,05).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaiamana persepsi masyarakat terhadap polusi pengembangan ternak itik di Desa Tawang Rejo di kecamatan Turi. Menggunakan metode purposive sampling di tentukan menggunakan rumus slovin dikarenakan peternak dilokasi Tawangrejo memiliki populasi 240 orang Hasil penilitian menujukkan bahwa jumlah skor sebanyak 924 untuk persepsi masyarakat secara keseluruhan skor (904,7-1117,5) termasuk kategori terganggu. Dari hasil tersebut bahwa responden merasa terganggu dengan keberadaan peternakan Itik yang berada ditengah pemukiman penduduk serta kurang memperhatikan kebersihan kandang.

Abstract

Tata niaga Pemasaran pada sektor peternakan sebagai salah satu kegiatan lanjutan dari proses produksi, kegiatan pemasaran berperan penting pada sektor peternakan, pemasaran dibutuhkan dalam menyampaikan produk langsung pada konsumen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui saluran tata niaga, margin keuntungan/pemsaran, dan tingat efisiensi saluran tata niaga oleh peternak dan jagal sapi potong di Koperasi ternak Gunungrejo Makmur Kecamatan Kedungpring Kabupaten Lamongan. Metode penelitian menggunakan survey. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Saluran pemasaran sapi potong di Koperasi Gunungrejo Makmur Kecamatan Kedungpring Kabupaten Lamongan terdapat 3 pola saluran pemasaran. Dari seluruh pola pemasaran I, II, dan III total margin paling tinggi diperoleh pada saluran pemasaran III yaitu sebesar Rp.18.300/kg, sedangkan total margin pemasaran paling rendah diperoleh pada saluran I sebesar Rp.13.900/kg.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Chicken Cemani is a local Indonesian chicken that has been worldwide. The potential of Cemani chicken is very good, apart from being a chicken used for traditional ceremonies, Cemani chicken has good production potential and has very large export prospects. However, the population is still limited causing many requests that cannot be fulfilled. Maintenance that has not implemented an integrated and traditional supply chain system causes the development of Cemani chicken agribusiness to be slow. The supply chain management system (SCM) is an integrated marketing system that includes the integration of products and actors to provide satisfaction to customers. In the Cemani chicken commodity, the actors and those involved are not clearly known. This study aims to determine the actors involved in the Cemani chicken supply chain and to find out the product flow, as well as the finances contained in the supply chain in Pakis, Malang, East Java. The study was conducted at the Cemani chicken farm in Pakis, Malang, East Java. The location selection was done purposively based on the consideration that the center of the Cemani chicken farm in Indonesia was in Pakis, Malang City, East Java. The research was conducted in November 2020. The research method used is a descriptive survey method. The method of determining respondents is purposive sampling which is based on the supply chain of a farm owned by Mr. Ihsan and Mr. Sigit. Determination of the respondents of traders and consumers in this study was carried out by snowball sampling, namely tracing the supply chain channels of the livestock owned by Mr. Ihsan and Mr. Sigit from traders to consumers in the Java area. Respondents in this study were 2 breeders. The data for product flow obtained were analyzed descriptively while for financial flows were analyzed using margin and efficiency analysis. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the actors in the supply chain of grade I and grade I Cemani chickens are breeders, traders in the city, traders outside the city and consumers. There are three marketing channels in the marketing supply chain for Cemani chicken in Pakis Malang City, namely channel I consisting of Breeders → Traders Outside Malang City → Traders in the City → Consumers. Channel II consists of Farmers → Traders in the City → Consumers and channel III consists of Farmers → Consumers. Sales use online and offline systems. The flow of finance where the selling price is the highest is the out-of-town traders belonging to Mr. Sigit at a price of Rp. 350,000 – Rp. 531,250 / head with the age of 2-5 months. The most efficient marketing channel is that farmers distribute directly to consumers. Keyword : Products flow, financial flow, local chicken

Abstract

Abstract Grazing with a free range system uses a forage cropping pattern aimed at providing feed throughout the year. This study aims to study forage quality and pasture productivity managed by UPT. Agroscience Teknopark Faculty of Animal Husbandry Lamongan Islamic University by taking forage samples from 3 pastures. Forage samples in fresh form were collected at 3 different sampling points in each paddock by using a metered quadrant plate measuring 0.5x0.5 m. Fresh samples were weighed and then sorted by plant species for identification of the botanical composition. The sample is then mixed again, to be dried. Parameters measured include forage mass production, botanical composition, and capacity. The results showed that there are 7 types of species that grow in the pasture, namely 5 gramineae, 1 leguminosae and 1 type of weed. The average mass production of forage in fresh form is around 22.70 t/year, and forage in dry form is around 20.25 t/year, with a capacity of 6.52 AU Keyword : Fresh Forage Production, Dry Forage Production and Holding Capacity.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to realize the utilization of livestock manure waste, so that there is no accumulation and environmental pollution, especially in the Malowo Jaya Sambeng livestock group as an initial pilot and additional income in the village. There are many problems faced by these livestock groups, including the lack of adequate feed for cattle, processing the waste produced, and marketing the results. So that an activity is needed to provide information on solving problems experienced through community service programs. Activities carried out in community service are providing direct counseling and training to farmers and the local community. The community service method is carried out with lectures and material presentation techniques, then continued discussions and training on making liquid fertilizers and solid fertilizers directly packaged in the form of offline workshops. This activity was warmly and enthusiastically welcomed by livestock groups and the local community which was marked by active discussions and enthusiasm in participating in the training from beginning to end in a series of activities carried out. The completion of this community service activity has more or less provided solutions to problems, especially in the processing of livestock waste in the cultivation of pegon cattle in the Malowo Jaya livestock group and most of the farmers in Kedungwangi village, Sambeng district, Lamongan regency.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the morphometric characteristics of male Boerka goats and female Boerka goats at different age levels as a basic step of selection in breeding and improving the genetic quality of goats. A total of 25 samples of Boerka goats, namely 10 male Boerka goats and 15 female Boerka goats were used to identify qualitative and qualitative traits at the age levels of 0-6 months, >6-12 months, and >12 months. The morphometric parameters observed consisted of qualitative characteristics, namely the diversity of coat colors, the diversity of horn shapes, the diversity of the color of the legs and the diversity of the front lines. While quantitative traits consist of body weight, height, body length, and chest circumference. The results of qualitative research found that Boerka goats had a dominant diversity of brown white fur color, short and small horns, black and white leg color, and a convex head shape. The average values ​​of body weight, height, body length, and chest circumference of male Boerka goats and female Boerka goats at various age levels were not significantly different except for chest circumference with age group > 12 months

Abstract

Eceng gondok adalah tumbuhan air mengapung dan berkembang sangat cepat sehingga dianggap merusak lingkungan perairan dan menjadi salah satu penyebab banjir. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah melakukan pelatihan kepada masyarakat dalam pemanfaatan eceng gondok sebagai pakan ternak kambing berbasis silase di Desa Lukrejo Kecamatan Kalitengah Kabupaten Lamongan. Banyak permasalahan yang dihadapi di Desa Lukrejo di antaranya yaitu minimnya sumber pakan ternak kambing, pertumbuhan enceng gondok yang semakin meluas dan menjadi penyebab kotor dan banjir di aliran sungai, bahkan lahan sawah atau tambak. Sehingga dibuthkan suatu kegiatan untuk mengurangi permasalahan yang ada melalui pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan oleh fakultas petenakan Universitas Islam Lamongan dengan mitra Bumdes Desa Lukrejo. Kegiatan dilakukan pada tanggal 02 Mei sampai 27 Mei 2023 yang belokasi di Desa Lukrejo Kecamatan Kalitengah Kabupaten Lamongan Jawa Timur. Metode dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabidan terdiri dari sosialisasi dan perijinan lokasi, penyuluhan pengolahan pakan, dan pelatihan pembuatan pakan berbasis silase. Kegiatan disambut dengan baik dan antusias oleh seluruh masayarakat Desa Lukrejo yang dibuktikan dengan peserta dapat mengikuti langkah demi langkah hingga akhir pelatihan. Terselesaikannya kegiatan pengabdian ini sedikit banyak telah memberikan solusi yang efektif bagi masyarakat setempat yaitu baik masalah pakan ternak maupun eceng godok dapat teratasi
