Abstract

Coconut is one of the many plantation products found in Kamiri Village, Balusu District, Baru Regency. It is known that coconut is a plant that has many benefits, one of which is most often used is coconut fruit which is processed into coconut milk. The type of coconut milk processed by the local community is still using conventional methods, so it is classified as non-economical because it is only used privately, when it is used only when processed, because coconut milk is also one of the most sensitive preparations because the taste can change if you process it wrongly. Incorrect processing, the taste will be unpleasant and easy to stale. We have facilitated coconut farmers and housewives (IRT) as community service partners through counseling, training / mentoring and coaching We also helped by preparing more modern coconut milk processing equipment with a closed system, training groups of coconut farmers to modify the press machine  coconut becomes more economical by using fuel that is easily available (from using electricity to gas), and helps to package according to market conditions and will help market its products to the provincial and even national level, so that this partner group is expected to be more productive in processing coconut milk  sustainably.  The specific target that has been achieved from this PKM activity is the application of science and technology through training that is an increase in understanding, knowledge and skills of partners of housewife groups (IRT) in processing coconut milk which is of better quality, healthier and hygienic with good packaging, producing coconut juice machines  the economical one is able to apply financial management and marketing strategies that have been obtained in the training.Keyword: Barru, coconut, coconut milk, modification, scarring.ABSTRAKKelapa merupakan salah satu hasil perkebunan yang banyak ditemui di Desa Kamiri, Kecematan Balusu, Kabupaten Barru. Diketahui bahwa kelapa merupakan tumbuhan yang memiliki banyak manfaat, salah satunya yang paling sering digunakan adalah buah kelapa yang diolah menjadi santan. Jenis santan yang diolah oleh masyarakat setempat masih menggunakan cara yang konvensional, sehingga tergolong non ekonomis karena penggunaannya hanya pribadi, saat mau digunakan baru diolah, karena santan juga merupakan salah satu olahan yang sangat sensitif karena rasanya bisa berubah jika salah mengolahnya. Salah dalam mengolahnya maka rasanya pun akan tidak enak dan gampang basi. Petani kelapa dan ibu rumah tangga (IRT) selaku mitra pengabdian kepada masyarakat telah kami fasilitasi melalui penyuluhan, pelatihan/pendampingan, dan pembinaan. Kami juga membantu dengan menyiapkan peralatan pengolahan santan kelapa yang lebih modern dengan sistem tertutup, melatih para kelompok petani kelapa untuk memodifikasi mesin perasan kelapa menjadi lebih ekonomis dengan menggunakan bahan bakar yang mudah didapatkan (dari menggunakan listrik menjadi gas), dan membantu untuk pengemasan sesuai kondisi pasar dan akan membantu memasarkan produknya ke tingkat provinsi bahkan nasional, sehingga kelompok mitra ini diharapkan bisa lebih produktif dalam melakukan pengolahan santan kelapa secara berkelanjutan. Target khusus yang telah tercapai dari kegiatan PKM ini adalah penerapan ipteks melalui pelatihan yakni terjadinya peningkatan pemahaman, pengetahuan dan keterampilan mitra kelompok ibu rumah tangga (IRT) dalam pengolahan santan kelapa yang lebih berkualitas, sehat dan higienis dengan kemasan yang baik, menghasilkan mesin perasan kelapa yang ekonomis serta mampu menerapkan manajemen keuangan dan strategi-strategi pemasaran yang sudah diperoleh dalam pelatihan. Kata kunci: Barru, kelapa, mesin parut, modifikasi, santan.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penggunaan obat tradisional sebagai alternatif pengobatan telah lama dilakukan jauh sebelum ada pelayanan kesehatan formal dengan menggunakan obat-obatan moderen. Namun, negara Indonesia yang terdiri dari banyak pulau yang didiami oleh berbagai suku memungkinkan terjadinya perbedaan dalam pemanfaatan tanaman sebagai obat tradisional. Hal ini disebabkan setiap suku memiliki pengalaman empiris dan kebudayaan yang khas sesuai dengan daerahnya masing-masing. Dalam rangka peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat terkait kesehatan, langkah awal yang bisa di lakukan yaitu dengan pendampingan dan pelatihan dalam memanfaatkan tumbuhan yang ada di lingkungan sekitar untuk mengobati diri sendiri atau dikenal dengan swamedikasi termasuk pada penderita Diabetes Mellitus (DM) yang mengalami bau mulut (halitosis) atau penyakit gangguan berkepanjangan dalam rongga mulut. Penderita DM dan kader Posyandu selaku mitra telah kami fasilitasi melalui pemeriksaan, pelatihan/pendampingan produksi, dan evaluasi dalam bentuk home care. Tim PKM membantu dengan menyiapkan bahan dasar dan peralatan pengolahan Obat Kumur Tradisional dengan memformulasi 3 bahan dasar yaitu Jahe Serai dan Cengkeh (JaSeKeh) yang aman dan rasa yang enak, melakukan pemeriksaan pada kelompok penderita DM serta melatih para kelompok kader dalam memproduksi Obat Tradisional Kumur dengan komposisi jahe, serai dan cengkeh serta melakukan penyuluhan melalui video terkait penyakit Halitosis pada penderita DM. Target khusus yang telah dicapai dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah penerapan ipteks melalui sosialisasi terkait halitosis pada DM di masa pandemi, pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam membuat obat kumur JaSeKeh yang bahannya diambil dari pekarangan rumah sendiri serta mampu menerapkan manajemen keuangan dan strategi pemasaran yang sudah diperoleh dalam pelatihan. Kata kunci: Barru, Diabetes Melitus, halitosis, obat kumur tradisional. ABSTRACT The use of traditional medicines as an alternative to treatment has been done long before there were formal health services using modern medicines. However, the state of Indonesia which consists of many islands inhabited by various tribes allows for differences in the use of plants as traditional medicines. This is because each tribe has empirical and cultural experiences that are unique to their respective regions. In order to improve public welfare related to health, the first steps that can be taken are mentoring and training in utilizing plants in the surrounding environment to treat themselves or known as self-medication, including those with Diabetes Mellitus (DM) who experience bad breath (halitosis) or prolonged disease in the oral cavity. DM sufferers and Posyandu cadres as partners we have facilitated through inspection, training/ production assistance, and evaluation in the form of home care. The PKM team helps by preparing basic ingredients and processing equipment for Traditional Mouthwash by formulating 3 basic ingredients, namely Ginger, Lemongrass, and Cloves (JaSeKeh) which are safe and taste good, conducting examinations on groups of DM sufferers and training cadre groups in producing the Traditional Mouthwash with composition of ginger, lemongrass and cloves and provide counseling through videos related to halitosis in DM sufferers. The specific targets that have been achieved from this service activity are the application of science and technology through socialization related to Halitosis in DM during the pandemic, knowledge and skills in making JaSeKeh mouthwash which ingredients are taken from the yard of one's own home and being able to apply financial management and marketing strategies that have been obtained in the training. Abstract

 The objejective of this research to study the role of organizational citizenship behavior as media tor for the impact of job satisfaction, job environment and organizational commitment towards employee performance. The research perform with explanatory research was carried out in the food and beverage manufacture industry in the municipality of Makassar. The research sample about 200 respondents of total 857 member of population in the division of production, taken by proportional random sampling. Data was analyzed by The structural equation model (SEM). The result indicated that: (1) job satisfaction has significant impact on organizational citizenship behavior, (2) job environment has significant impact on organizational citizenship behavior, (3) organizational commitment has significant impact on organizational citizenship behavior, (4) job satisfaction has significant impact on employee performance, (5) job environment has significant impact on employee performance, (6) organizational commitment has significant impact on employee performance, and (7) organizational citizenship behavior has significant impact on employee performance.
