Abstract

Education system in Indonesia has experienced much change. This change is happen because of wish to be better. First observation in the XI class at SMK Al-Hidayah Wuluhan proves low students participation in teacher questions, low student activity in study club and class presentation. Learning activity is dominated by teacher, so students more passive in learning activity. Observation proves learning outcome of IPA cognitive which is low because 30 percent students hasn’t fulfill KKM (70). Low student involvement in learning activity is believed impact to low learning outcome of students cognitive. This research has aim to find out the effectiveness guided inquiry learning model application in increase of learning outcome of students cognitive. This type of research is the Classroom Action Research. This research was held from 20 October to 20 November 2016 with the subject of much research as 14 students. Result of research observation shows learning activity well and effectively. Learning outcome of students cognitive with good criteria is ? 80% studentshave completed. Learningoutcome of students cognitive in first cycle is 68,57. Whereas, learning outcome of students cognitive in second cycle is 72,5. So, learning outcome of students cognitive increases 3,93 point.  Conclusion from this research result is guided inquiry learning model application effective in increase learning outcome of students cognitive.Keywords: Guided Inquiry, learning outcome of students cognitive.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif mahasiswa Semester IV Pendidikan Biologi Universitas Islam Jember pada matakuliah SPT II melalui tugas analisis pustaka. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa  yang sedang menempuh mata kuliah SPT II. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan rubrik penilaian keterampilan berpikir kreatif. Analisis data menggunakan rumus rata-rata yang diberlakukan untuk menghitung data hasil analisis pustaka. Analisis data menunjukkan rata-rata nilai keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa pada siklus I sebesar 59,75 dan pada siklus II sebesar 62,90. Dari hasil penelitian ini, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran mata kuliah SPT II dengan menerapkan analisis pustaka dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif mahasiswa. Kata kunci: Analisis pustaka, keterampilan berpikir kreatif

Abstract

Pepaya merupakan buah yang tidak asing lagi bagi masyarakat Indonesia. Tapi, pengolahannya masih sangat terbatas. Hanya sebagai konsumsi ketika buahnya sudah masak saja. Hal yang sama juga terjadi di Desa Plalangan. Padahal buah pepaya disana merupakan komoditas yang cukup menjanjikan apabila bisa mengelola secara kreatif. Oleh karena itu mahasiswa KKN Universitas Islam Jember mempunyai inisiatif untuk mengenalkan pembuatan abon dari bahan buah pepaya, dengan harapan dapat menginspirasi masyarakat desa agar dapat mengolah komoditas yang ada secara kreatif. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk mewujudkan “Program Satu Desa Satu Produk”. Sasaran program ini adalah masyarakat Desa Plalangan. Metode yang digunakan: 1) sosialisasi, 2) pelatihan, dan 3) evaluasi hasil. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah mendapatkan produk unggulan desa yang berkualitas.  Keywords: pelatihan, buah pepaya, abon pepaya

Abstract

The effect of model the Reading Concept Connection Discussion Evaluation (RCCDE) on critical thinking on water pollution material aims to determine the increase in critical thinking. Kind of research is a quasi experiment. Researchers in take samples using a purposive sampling technique with respondents in two classes. Data analysis using Anova. The total same of students is 22 in the experimental class using RCCDE and the control class using conventional methods. Based on the results of the analysis, it's can be concluded that there is an influence of the RCCDE model, on increasing critical thinking on Water Pollution material. Can be seen from the ANOVA test results obtained sig. 0,000 <0.05 (<0.050). Then, Ha is accepted. Based on these results, it be concluded that the use of the RCCDE model can improve critical thinking.

Abstract

The implementation of learning at Ma Ma'arif Ambulu experienced problems in the form of low student interest in learning. This incident was shown from the results of student learning in the previous semester with only 50% of students getting a KKM score of 70. The cause of the lack of delivery of learning in class was due to the lack of learning media, when delivering learning in class. This resulted in students being less interested and less active in seeking more information related to the material being studied. The study was conducted using classroom action research with a data analysis method in the form of a questionnaire to measure student interest in learning. Based on the analysis of data from cycle I, it was found that student interest in learning was in the low category of 56.75% and cycle II, it was found that student interest in learning was 83.71% which was included in the high ability category. The conclusion obtained is that learning using the Paludarium learning media can increase the interest in learning of class X IPA I MA Ma'arif Ambulu students in the 2022/2023 academic year totaling 28 students in the Ecosystem material.

Abstract

The study was conducted with the aim of increasing the interest and cognitive learning outcomes of grade XI students of MAS Al-Muslihun. The Problem Based Learning model and smart monopoly media are expected to spur students' enthusiasm and enthusiasm in participating in learning activities so that students' interest and learning outcomes increase. The type of research used is classroom action research consisting of 2 cycles, each cycle consists of 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were all grade XI students, the sample of this study amounted to 18 students. This research data was obtained through tests, observations, interviews and documentation. The results showed an increase in student interest in learning starting from the pre-cycle by 6.3%, while in cycle I to cycle II it increased by 28.15%. As for students' cognitive learning outcomes, it increased from pre-cycle to cycle I by 16.7%, while from cycle I to cycle II it increased by 38.89%. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that the application of problem-based learning assisted by smart monopoly media can increase students' interest and cognitive learning outcomes at MAS Al-Muslihun.

Abstract

Kedelai edamame (Glycine max (L.) Merrill) merupakan salah satu jenis kedelai yang banyak dikonsumsi oleh masyarakat. Kandungan dan manfaat kedelai jenis ini menjadi daya tarik bagi masyarakat untuk mengkonsumsinya. Kebutuhan kedelai edamame yang meningkat harus diimbangi dengan ketersediaan kedelai itu sendiri. Dalam upaya memenuhi ketersediaan kedelai edamame, maka perlu dilakukan berbagai upaya oleh petani untuk meningkatkan produktifitas, yaitu mendukung pertumbuhan dengan pemupukan. Alternatif pupuk organik sangat diperlukan sebagai alternatif pupuk anorganik yang semakin langka dan mahal. Pupuk bekas cacing (kascing) dan bokashi feses ayam dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif pupuk organik yan lebih ramah lingkungan dan harganya terjangkau. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari kombinasi pupuk bekas cacing (kascing) dan bokashi feses ayam terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman kedelai edamame. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian eksperimen menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok (RAK) dengan pola 7 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan serta analisis data menggunakan uji statistic One Way Anova .Hasil penelitian menunjukan nilai F hitung sebesar  0,710 dengan nilai signifikasi  0,643 untuk tinggi tanaman, sedangkan hasil Uji One Way Anova  untuk jumlah daun menunjukan nilai F hitung sebesar 0,798 dan nilai signifikasi sebesar 0,574. Dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian kombinasi pupuk bekas cacing (kascing) dan bokashi feses ayam tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman kedelai edamame  (G. max (L.) Merrill).
