Abstract

consortia (Lactobacillus, Pseudomonas, Bacillus, Saccharomyces, Rhizobium, Azotobacter, Azospirillum, and Cellulomonas). The treatment consists of 4 biofertilizer concentrations (0, 5, 10, and 15 mL/plant) and 4 concentrations of NPK (0, 25, 50, and 75% is equivalent to 0; 1.25; 2.5; and 3.75 g NPK/plant), as well as the positive control (100% NPK equivalent 5g/plant). The result showed that treatment B2K2 (combination of biofertilizer 10 mL/plant and NPK 2.5 g/plant) and B3K2 (combination of biofertilizer 15 mL/plant and NPK 2.5 g/plant) gave better results compared with other treatments.Keywords: Biofertilizer, Nicotianae tabacum, NPK, Plant growth.

Abstract

Gallus domesticus chicken is a favorite side dish of Indonesian society since the past until now, because the meat is delicious, low in cholesterol and fat, but rich in protein and carbohydrates. From the observation in Jember and surrounding areas, there is often a shortage of stock in the market because there are kuthuk often stunted and eventually die(lethal).The purpose of the study to determine the morphology of G. Domesticus ova that can produce the best quality kuthuk. The results are expected to contribute knowledge to the farmers in order to produce the best quality kuthuk, in order to get optimal benefits.This type of research is true experimental, with a sampling technique with simple random sampling. The design used was a completely randomized design (CRD) factorial using the first two factors form the egg, both kuthuk quality. Data from the study, tested with inferential statistics, namely ANOVA using SPSS v16. The analysis showed that, with the egg morphology of a large oval or flat smooth surface is great for the development of khutuk, small oval shape or a flat smooth surface good for kuthuk development, while large or small shapes with rough or uneven surfaces is not good to the development of Gallus domesticus kuthuk Keywords: Gallus domesticus, development, kuthuk.

Abstract

Keberhasilan pembelajaran abad 21 dapat diukur dengan antusias siswa dalam mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi adalah kegiatan pembelajaran dikelas, pembelajaran dikelas sangat berpengaruh dalam tercapainya prestasi belajar yang baik. Untuk mencapai prestasi maka siswa juga harus aktif dalam mengikuti pembelajaran di kelas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII pada materi sistem pernapasan di MTs Ma’arif Ambulu dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran komik digital. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan 2 siklus dengan masing-masing siklus memiliki 4 tahapan berupa 1) Perencanaan, 2) Pemberian Tindakan, 3) Observasi, dan 4) Refleksi. Sampel penelitian yang digunakan adalah siswa kelas VIII MTs Ma’arif Ambulu sebanyak 30 siswa. Berdasarkan penelitian menunjukkan media pembelajaran digital komik dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII MTs Ma’arif Ambulu. Berdasarkan penelitian presentase hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I sebesar 61% dengan kualifikasi cukup meningkat dan siklus II dengan presentase 93% dengan kualifikasi meningkat. Hal tersebut membuktikan bahwa hasil belajar siswa meningkat dengan diterapkannya media pembelajaran komik digital.

Abstract

Inquiry learning is learning or review for problem solving in a critical, analytical, and scientific used particular steps. Media is physical tool that can stimulate students to learn. Learning activities are the students’ activities in the learning process through from physical activities to psychological activities. This research aimed to increase the students’ learning activities using Inquiry learning model and image media. The research design used was Classroom Action Research (CAR), with qualitative descriptive approach. Based on the result of research, indicated that there were 43,2% of student learning activity on the first cycle and 86% on the second cycle. While in the learning outcomes of students on the first cycle showed 70% and 88% on the second cycle. As the basis of the research findings, the activity and student learning outcomes can be increased through the Inquiry model with the image media. Abstract

The learning model is a need for learning in order to achieve success in the education process. The researcher conducted observations in class VII A of Al – Maufi Tempurejo junior high school. The data obtained shows that 47% of students' scores were less equal than 70 (≤70). This study aims to determine student achievement in learning the characteristics of living creatures using animated videos with Discovery Learning models. The type of research used is classroom action research (CAR) with cycle model. Based on the result of the study, the percentage of students’ achievement in the first and second cycles was 88,23%. While the students daily test result on the cycle I and II obtained an average of 89. This proves that using animated videos with discovery learning models can improve student achievement. Animated videos with discovery learning models are used to reduce saturation in the learning process. Keywords: Discovery learning model, learning achievement, animated video

Abstract

This research investigates the effect of the internet use on students’ learning achievement in MA Ma’arif Ambulu in the kingdom animalia, with respondents by two classes out of the same three classes. The sample was taken using purposive sampling technique. This study used a quasi eksperimental with a model nonequivalent control group design. The data were analyzed using independent sample t-test on the software spss v. 16.0, and Anates v4. to know the level of difficulty. The subjects of this research have the same capabilities, the biology subject to be taught, and the number of students in classroom. Experimental class used the internet as a source of learning and control class used a conventional method. According to the data analysis, it can be drawn the conclusion that there is significant effect of the use of internet on X grade students’ learning achievement at MA Ma’arif Ambulu. According to the data analysis Tcalculation is 7.594 by the experiment hypothesis using sig 0,00 value. Thus, we can conclude that hypothesis ha was accepted, meaning that there is siginificant effect of internet use on X grade students’ learning achievement because the value of Tcalculation  is 7.594. Abstract

Schoology based blended learning method is a learning approach that combines face-to-face learning activities with online learning using Schoology applications. Students’ learning outcomes obtained from observations made in class VII B SMP 01 Islam Jember was 30% pre-cycle completeness data and 60% of students’ scores were still lower than 70 (KKM = 70). This research aims to improve students’ learning outcomes in learning solar system material using Schoology- based blended learning methods. This type of research is classroom action research (CAR). Based on the results of the study, the percentage of completeness of the first cycle was 80% and the second cycle was 85%. This proves that students’ learning outcomes have improved with the adoption of blended learning methods based on Schoology. Keywords: Learning Outcomes, Blended Learning, Schoology

Abstract

Green eggplant (Solanum melongena L.) is a food plant grown for its fruit. The fruit of the eggplant depends on the fruit stalk and is a single true fruit, thick, soft, and juicy. This study was a completely randomized design with a three-treatment pattern. The first is a combination of organic fertilizer and arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi, the second is a positive control, namely using NPK fertilizer, the third is a negative control, namely without treatment. Each treatment was repeated three times and each repetition consisted of 3 plants. Plant growth parameters consist of plant height and number of leaves. Plant productivity parameters consist of the number of fruit, fruit wet weight, and dry weight. Based on the results of the study, it was obtained data that the combination of organic fertilizer and Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi had better growth and productivity results compared to other treatments with an average plant height of 44.46; the average number of leaves 11.12; the average number of fruits was 5.51; mean fruit wet weight 106; and the average dry weight of fruit 84. The results of the Anova statistical test showed that the significance value of plant height and a number leaves was 0.000 (α <0.05), and the significance value for the number of fruits was 0.006 (α <0.05), while the significance value of weight wet and dry weight of fruit is 0.000 (α <0.05), this indicates that the combination of organic fertilizer and Arbuscular Mycorrhizal has a significant effect on the growth and productivity of green eggplant plants.

Abstract

The purpose of daily research media based on smartphone applications is as a solution to optimize the manual daily review system by saving time which is usually used to correct daily tests. At the same time save paper, because it switches to using devices that are not one-time use. So that the application of daily replication applications is expected to be able to improve the quality of education and teaching in the future. The method used in this study is the development or Research and Development (R & D). The product trial subjects consisted of material validators and media validators. In this study, data collection techniques were carried out using a validation sheet. Data analysis in this study is qualitative and quantitative data analysis. In the results of the development of daily media replications based on smartphone applications, the average level of product feasibility of each aspect in terms of material is declared to be feasible at 3.8 and in terms of media is declared feasible at 3.9. So that the daily media review based on smartphone applications deserves to be applied to learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari pemberian Cendawan mikoriza arbuskula (CMA) terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman kedelai edamame (Glycin max (L) Merrill). Penelitian ini bersifat eksperimental dengan 3 ulangan, setiap pengulangan terdiri atas 5 tanaman. Aplikasi cendawan mikoriza arbuskula (M) terdiri atas dua perlakuan, yaitu tanpa aplikasi CMA (M0) dan dengan aplikasi CMA (M1). Data hasil penelitian dianalisis deskriptif. Data pertumbuhan terdiri atas tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, dan jumlah cabang produktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian dari CMA (Cendawan mikoriza arbuskula) menunjukkan hasil pertumbuhan yang paling baik dibandingkan dengan tanpa pemberian CMA (Cendawan mikoriza arbuskula).
