Abstract

Penilitian ini merupakan jenis penilitian kuantatif menggunakan disain penelitian pre eksperimental dengan jenis desain penelitian satu kelompok pretest - post test dan tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membuktikan secara empiris pengaruh aplikasi kamus digital terhadap pengucapan kata kerja bentuk lampau siswa dikelas 6 SDIT Mutiara Palabuhanratu. Jumlah sample dalam penilitian ini adalah 18 siswa di kelas 6 A. Instrumet penelitian ini adalah pre-test dan post-test dalam bentuk tes lisan dan setelah melakukan pre-test kemudian peniliti memberikan post-test setelah memberikan siswa perlakuan menggunakan aplikasi kamus digital yang ada telepon pintar untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pengucapan bentuk lampau siswa sebanyak 6 kali pertemuan. Hasil dari penilitian menunjukan bahwa ada perbedaan yang signifikan terhadap kemampuan pengucapan kata kerja bentuk lampau siswa dengan adanya penikatan nilai rata – rata. nilai rata – rata pre-test adalah 67,61 dan nilai rata – rata post-test adalah 76,72, sedangkan hasil uji data hipotesis menunjukan nilai signifikasi 0,000 < 0.05 yang berarti bahwa (Ha) diterima dan (Ho) ditolak. Maka dari Hasil tersebut menyimpulkan bahwa aplikasi kamus digital (Kamusku) ditelepon pintar memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan pengucapan kata kerja lampau pada siswa siswa dikelas 6 SDIT Mutiara Palabuhanratu.

Abstract

This study explores the occurrence of code mixing in communication. It aims to analyze the types of Indonesian-English code-mixing used by Boy William in his vlog, based on Muysken's theory, and to identify the reasons behind this code-mixing according to Hoffman's theory. Conducted as a qualitative study, the data is presented in an analytic-descriptive manner. The data was sourced from Boy William's YouTube vlog titled “Maudy Ayunda Sempat Merasa Insecure Berada di Stanford”. After collecting the data, the researchers categorized and analyzed the types of code-mixing according to Muysken's (2000) theory and the reasons for code-mixing as per Hoffman's (1991) theory. The findings revealed 34 instances of code mixing in Boy William's speech, categorized into three types: 11 instances (32%) of insertion, 18 instances (53%) of alternation, and 5 instances (15%) of congruent lexicalization. The study also identified the reasons behind the code-mixing: 9 instances (26%) were for discussing specific topics, 2 instances (6%) involved quoting someone else, 4 instances (12%) were to show empathy, 4 instances (12%) were interjections, 3 instances (9%) involved repetition for clarification, 7 instances (20%) were for clarifying speech for the listener, and 5 instances (15%) were to express group identity.

Abstract

This research aims to find out what are the type of autism experience by Raymond in the movie “Rain Man” and to find out how speech production of autistic experience by Raymond. The method used in this research is qualitative and the object studied is the main actor in the film "Rain Man" named Raymond. The researcher collected data from the film and from dialogue transcripts. After the data is obtained then transferred to a computer and listened to many times, then transcribed into conversation. Data were analyze using the theory from Turkington & Anan (2007) to analyze the type of autism and Scovel (1998) to analyze speech production experience by Raymond. Based on this theory, it is known that the main character in the film "Rain Man", namely Raymond, has autistic (high-function), and Raymond has difficulty producing language. He repeated his words, the same phrase, or sentence from the other person when he or she cannot understand the meaning of the conversation. This paper recommended for readers to understand language production in someone with autism, especially for those who have had contact with autistic people in their surrounding environment. And for future researchers who conduct research in the same field, especially those who have the same interest in language disorders in autistic children as a reference or comparison that may be relevant to their research.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the inculcation of the values ​​of the integrated character of self-confidence inside and outside the classroom and their impact on grade IV SDIT Mutiara students. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The stages of this research method are collecting data by observation, interview, questionnaire, document analysis and data processing. The instruments used in this study were assessment rubrics, teacher interview guidelines, teachers and student questionnaires. The results of research on the inculcation of the integrated character values ​​of self confidence in English subjects in the classroom have been successfully applied. While outside the classroom the most prominent religious character values. The barriers there are not available in English books and character values ​​assessment format, the family environment of students who are less concerned about the character values ​​that have been applied in the School and students get different average grades but tend to be quite good.
