Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh emotional intelligence terhadap academic self-efficacy mahasiswa yang sedang mengerjkana skripsi di Kota Bekasi. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa yang sedang mengerjakan skripsi di Bekasi. Sampel pada penelitian ini diambil dengan menggunakan teknik snowball sampling dengan jumlah sebanyak 384 mahasiswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah skala dan data dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik regresi linier sederhana.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 dan t hitung > t tabel (10,404 > 1,966). Selain itu, didapatkan r square sebesar 0,221. Kesimpulan pada penelitian ini yaitu terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan emotional intelligence terhadap academic self-efficacy mahasiswa yang sedang mengerjakan skripsi di Kota Bekasi sebesar 22,1%.

Abstract

Masa awal dewasa merupakan tahapan perkembangan yang penting yang ditandai dengan transisi dan tantangan signifikan, terutama dalam mencapai kesejahteraan psikologis. Sense of humor telah diakui sebagai faktor potensial yang memengaruhi kesejahteraan psikologis selama fase ini, namun studi dalam konteks ini, khususnya di Bekasi Utara, Indonesia, masih terbatas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi hubungan antara sense of humor dan kesejahteraan psikologis di kalangan dewasa muda di Bekasi Utara, Indonesia. Desain penelitian korelasional kuantitatif digunakan, melibatkan 129 dewasa muda (69 pria, 60 wanita) yang tinggal di Bekasi Utara. Skala Sense of humor dan skala Kesejahteraan Psikologis digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data. Analisis data meliputi statistik deskriptif, analisis korelasi, dan uji signifikansi untuk menguji hubungan antar variabel. Temuan menunjukkan adanya korelasi positif yang signifikan antara sense of humor dan kesejahteraan psikologis (r = 0,514, p < 0,01). Peserta melaporkan skor kesejahteraan psikologis yang lebih tinggi ketika mereka memiliki sense of humor yang lebih besar. Perbedaan dalam kesejahteraan psikologis antara gender dan area tempat tinggal juga ditemukan, menunjukkan dampak yang bervariasi dari sense of humor terhadap kesejahteraan berdasarkan faktor demografis. Sense of humor memainkan peran penting dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan psikologis di kalangan dewasa muda di Bekasi Utara. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya memupuk humor sebagai mekanisme pemecahan masalah dan alat sosial untuk meningkatkan kesehatan mental selama tahun-tahun awal dewasa. Intervensi di masa depan dapat berfokus pada meningkatkan keterampilan terkait humor untuk meningkatkan hasil kesejahteraan secara keseluruhan pada demografi ini.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang krisis moral dan kekerasan dalam keluarga yang terjadi ketika seorang anak menganiaya ibunya karena permintaannya tidak terpenuhi. Faktor-faktor seperti tekanan, ketimpangan kekuasaan, perceraian, gangguan mental, dan pengaruh lingkungan diidentifikasi sebagai pemicu kekerasan dalam rumah tangga. Penting untuk memahami akar penyebab perilaku tersebut dan mencari solusi yang komprehensif untuk mencegah terulangnya kasus serupa di masa mendatang. Penegakan hukum dan pendidikan dianggap memiliki peran kunci dalam penanganan kasus kekerasan dalam keluarga. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan yang penting dalam upaya pencegahan dan penanganan kasus kekerasan dalam rumah tangga.

Abstract

For both organizational and personal life, especially for teachers in the context of schools, organizational citizenship behavior (OCB), is essential. Thus, this study investigates and creates a novel empirical model of the mediation mechanism of compensation on the relationship between visionary leadership and teachers' OCB. For this study, 230 private junior high school teachers in three Indonesian provinces Jakarta, West Java, and Banten were given Likert scale questionnaires. With survey methods and analyses by structural equation modeling (SEM) found a significant impact of visionary leadership and compensation on OCB, the substantial influence of visionary leadership on compensation, and the significant effect of visionary leadership on OCB through compensation. This evidence supports a novelty about visionary leadership, through compensation, affects teachers' OCB. It is in line with and confirms the results of previous research as the basis of this research and, at the same time, negates the conflicting results of previous research. Under these circumstances, the novel model offers a theoretical and practical contribution that necessitates thorough and critical debate prior to adoption, adaptation, or modification as a model for enhancing teachers' OCB through visionary leadership backed by compensation.

Abstract

Every organization wants to survive and develop. Therefore, extra-role behavior, commonly called organizational citizenship behavior (OCB), is required. OCB is absolutely essential for both personal and organizational dynamics. Hence, the objective of this investigation is to ascertain the impact of emotional intelligence (EI) and adversity quotient (AQ) on OCB. This investigation employs quantitative methodologies grounded in a literature review, which are then subjected to meta-analysis. 16 pertinent articles were selected from Scopus, SINTA, and Google Scholar between 2018 and 2024 to conduct a literature review. Meta-analysis using JASP 0.8 4.0 software found that EI and AQ significantly affected OCB, with a correlation coefficient (r) = 0.373 and 0.337 at p-value < 0.01. EI has a stronger influence on OCB than AQ. In addition, this research does not show publication bias, so the publications reviewed genuinely reflect the actual situation. This evidence confirms and strengthens previous relevant research used as the basis of the meta-analysis and offers new things regarding the influence of EI and AQ that significantly influence OCB. Therefore, the findings deserve further discussion among researchers and practitioners in the future

Abstract

Innovative work behavior not only plays a critical role in achieving teacher performance and school goals but can also be used to anticipate various new problems for which solutions are not yet available. Therefore, this study is concerned with uncovering the influence of creativity and proactive personality on innovative work behavior (IWB). Empirically, several previous studies suggest that both creativity and proactive personality significantly impact IWB. However, a comprehensive synthesis of empirical findings is needed to clarify the strength and consistency of these relationships. This study employed a quantitative meta-analysis to examine the effects of creativity and proactive personality on IWB. All research’s data published between 2019 and 2025 were regularly selected from Scopus, SINTA, and Google Scholar databases. Using JASP version 0.8.4.0, effect sizes were calculated, and heterogeneity was assessed through a random-effects model. The analysis revealed that creativity and proactive personality significantly impact IWB. Moderate heterogeneity was observed across the studies, and no evidence of publication bias was found. These findings align with existing literature, emphasizing the critical role of creativity and proactive personality in improving IWB. The moderate heterogeneity suggests variability in study contexts, yet the overall effect remains robust. The results highlight the value of creativity and proactive personality in driving teachers' IWB in schools. Practical recommendations include the development of creativity and a proactive personality to improve teachers' IWB.
