Abstract

Online learning requires students to be more independent in learning. For example, chemistry learning tends to contain abstract concepts (very theoretical), so it requires a more detailed description and explanation. To help solve this problem, we need a media that can make it easier for students to learn during online learning. The purpose of this study was to determine student perceptions or responses to learning using teaching videos. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative, which will produce a description of quantitative data related to student perceptions of the results of the Cronbach Alfa test. The instruments in this study were questionnaires, and learning outcomes test questions. The sample consisted of 102 students. Before being used, video-based learning media with the help of a pen tablet were validated by media and material experts, both in terms of construction and concepts contained in the learning media. The validation results obtained an average value of 0.91 which means it is very valid. Further analysis using reliability showed the Cronbach Alfa coefficients were 0.88, respectively; 0.92; 0.93 consecutively for aspects of knowledge, media and convenience. In order to be accepted by the media as learning media, it is necessary to look at student responses to aspects of knowledge (P) where the average value is 3.96 which is classified as good, media (M) 4.02 and convenience (K) 3.81 are also included in good category.

Abstract

Since the Government launched the prototype curriculum in 2022, the need for integration of project-based learning models into student worksheets (LKPD) has become very important. In fact, there are still many science teachers in Langsa City who do not use LKPD, especially LKPD based on PjBL (Project based learning). Therefore, the purpose of this service is to provide training and assistance in the preparation of PjBL-based LKPD. The method used is the presentation method and guided exercises in the form of mentoring during the practice of preparing PjBL-based LKPD. At the training stage, participants are provided with 16 meeting hours (JP) of materials related to the concept of PjBL-based LKPD, patterns and standards for the preparation of PjBL-based LKPD. Then in the mentoring stage, the teacher is guided by a service team for 16 meeting hours to compile PjBL-based LKPD, which is guided by aspects of appearance, content, and presentation as well as objectives and conclusions. The results of the design were evaluated jointly through a question and answer response after the results of each group's work were presented.

Abstract

Science laboratories play an important role in the success of chemistry, physics, and biology education in schools. Students and teachers need facilities and infrastructure to prove the veracity of theory and to establish the relationship between theory and practice through experiential learning activities. In addition to teachers and students, the roles of research assistants and work managers are also very important to put practical learning into practice. To improve the knowledge and skills of science room management in schools, we will standardize the science room management of laboratory assistants and work instructors. This activity began with a pre-test, followed by the provision of teaching materials through lectures and discussions, quizzes through a method of promoting understanding, lab operations through a real-action approach, and a post-test. The training will be held for 4 days from August 9 to 12, 2022, at the Aceh Barat Daya District Education Office, where classroom lessons will be held, and at SMA Negri 6 Aceh, where participants will practice setting up their laboratories. It was conducted at two locations in Bharat Daya. education. Participants followed the learning process in the classroom very well as evidenced by achieving good quiz scores with an average accuracy of 7-12 out of 15 questions, or 47-80%. With Kahoot learning games, the quizzes at the end of each learning material add extra fun and motivation to learners and are very helpful in the evaluation process during the training process. Furthermore, post-test results showed that participants' knowledge increased by up to 80.4% compared to pre-test results. From this, we can conclude that this laboratory management training was properly implemented and produced very good results.

Abstract

E-learning is not distinct from the use of technology, which includes a variety of digital platforms. Zenius, Ruangguru, Pahamify, and other online learning systems are currently available in Indonesia. There are various learning films on the learning platform, such as on the applications B and C, which both give a variety of features and materials that complement the curriculum K-13, particularly in chemistry. The qualitative descriptive methodologies were used in this investigation. The purpose of this research is to compare the quality of chemistry learning resources available on online learning applications that correspond to the 2013 curriculum. Data is gathered through the downloading and video monitoring of chemical compounds. Two learning apps, B and C, were utilized as examples. According to the findings of this study, application B has a bigger number of videos in the material than application C. In addition, the average video time on the B app is less topical than on the C app. A good learning video has an appropriate length. When the video is too long, the spectator becomes bored. The video's attributes should be clear, and a pleasant appearance, such as animation, can encourage students to follow.
