Abstract

Abstract: In Indonesia, vaccination against COVID-19 has become a requirement for all educational institutions. The vaccine can help instructors, education staff, and students prevent the spread of COVID-19 in schools. However, a person's awareness and willingness to receive the COVID-19 vaccine might be influenced by a number of other circumstances. The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between knowledge level and willingness to receive the COVID-19 vaccination among students at MAS Ulumul Quran in Banda Aceh. The research was conducted using a mixed method, involving all students of MAS Ulumul Quran, Banda Aceh, totaling 260 students. The study concluded that there is no significant correlation between knowledge and willingness to receive COVID-19 vaccination in students of MAS Ulumul Quran in Banda Aceh. Abstract

The research aims to find out information about the learning process and the integration of COVID-19 knowledge in education units in Aceh Barat Daya. Based on the results obtained showed that the learning systems that are generally applied during the pandemic are blended learning with a percentage of 42.9%, offline learning 28.6% and online learning 28.6%. Face-to-face learning is carried out through the division of study groups, while online learning is carried out by utilizing learning applications. The education unit at Aceh Barat Daya has tried to implement the policies of the central government and local governments while carrying out learning during the pandemic. This can be observed from the efforts of the school in implementing health protocols while studying during the pandemic. In addition, the school also provides free health facilities and infrastructure and free internet quota to support the learning process. Education related to the dangers of coronavirus is carried out by the school in various ways, both by socializing the dangers of COVID-19 in the school and by giving direction for teachers to exemplify COVID-19 prevention behavior. Education is also carried out by making disinfectants independently and sharing information about covid-19 through social media

Abstract

Online learning requires students to be more independent in learning. For example, chemistry learning tends to contain abstract concepts (very theoretical), so it requires a more detailed description and explanation. To help solve this problem, we need a media that can make it easier for students to learn during online learning. The purpose of this study was to determine student perceptions or responses to learning using teaching videos. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative, which will produce a description of quantitative data related to student perceptions of the results of the Cronbach Alfa test. The instruments in this study were questionnaires, and learning outcomes test questions. The sample consisted of 102 students. Before being used, video-based learning media with the help of a pen tablet were validated by media and material experts, both in terms of construction and concepts contained in the learning media. The validation results obtained an average value of 0.91 which means it is very valid. Further analysis using reliability showed the Cronbach Alfa coefficients were 0.88, respectively; 0.92; 0.93 consecutively for aspects of knowledge, media and convenience. In order to be accepted by the media as learning media, it is necessary to look at student responses to aspects of knowledge (P) where the average value is 3.96 which is classified as good, media (M) 4.02 and convenience (K) 3.81 are also included in good category.

Abstract

Vaccination against COVID-19 has become mandatory for all educational institutions in Indonesia. The vaccine can help instructors, education staff, and students prevent the spread of COVID-19 in schools. However, awareness and willingness to get the covid-19 vaccine may be influenced by their knowledge of vaccines and several other factors. For instance, the spread of rumors about vaccines makes people fear the vaccine's side effects and make them reluctant to get the covid-19 vaccine. This study aims to analyze the relationship between knowledge and willingness to obtain COVID-19 vaccination in high school students. The research method employed involved an initial observation, 122 students receiving questionnaires, and seven students being interviewed. Using the Spearman Rho correlation test, the data analysis was evaluated to identify the level of knowledge of attitudes and attitudes toward vaccination doses. The outcomes of the interviews were then described, followed by data analysis. The result shows that 117 (94.9%) of the 122 participants in this study had a good level of awareness, and 40 (32.8%) had a favorable attitude toward their willingness to get the vaccine. The Spearman correlation test revealed a significant correlation between attitudes and knowledge (r = 0.296, p-value = 0.001) as well as a positive correlation between attitudes and vaccination doses (r = 0.183, p-value = 0.044). It shows there is a considerable correlation between these two relationships. Finally, the study concluded a significant correlation between knowledge and willingness to get covid-19 vaccination in students of Private Senior High School (MAS) Ulumul Quran Banda Aceh.

Abstract

E-learning is not distinct from the use of technology, which includes a variety of digital platforms. Zenius, Ruangguru, Pahamify, and other online learning systems are currently available in Indonesia. There are various learning films on the learning platform, such as on the applications B and C, which both give a variety of features and materials that complement the curriculum K-13, particularly in chemistry. The qualitative descriptive methodologies were used in this investigation. The purpose of this research is to compare the quality of chemistry learning resources available on online learning applications that correspond to the 2013 curriculum. Data is gathered through the downloading and video monitoring of chemical compounds. Two learning apps, B and C, were utilized as examples. According to the findings of this study, application B has a bigger number of videos in the material than application C. In addition, the average video time on the B app is less topical than on the C app. A good learning video has an appropriate length. When the video is too long, the spectator becomes bored. The video's attributes should be clear, and a pleasant appearance, such as animation, can encourage students to follow.

Abstract

Synthetic antioxidants, such as butyl hydroxyanisole (BHA), have carcinogenic (cancer-causing) adverse effects because they can cause type I alveolar damage and damage to lung endothelial genes. The objective of this study was to use the DPPH (2,2 diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl) method to investigate the antioxidant activity of natural substances found in the leaves of the mahogany parasite (Dendrophthu pentandra (L.) Miq.). Extraction, chromatography, and spectrophotometry are the techniques used. Maceration in stages utilizing n-hexane, ethyl acetate, and ethanol as solvents yielded mahogany parasite leaf extract. Phytochemical screening, thin layer chromatography testing, antioxidant activity testing utilizing a Visible Spectrophotometer, and estimating the IC50 were all performed on mahogany parasite leaf extract. The phytochemical screening results revealed that the samples included four types of secondary metabolites: flavonoids, tannins, saponins, and steroids. A thin layer chromatographic test revealed four well-separated stains using n-hexane and ethyl acetate eluent in a volume ratio of 5:5, showing the Rf as the value of the four secondary metabolites mentioned above. Based on the results of the experiments, it is possible to conclude that mahogany parasite leaves have strong antioxidant activity, with an IC50 of 8.47 ppm.
