Abstract

This paper tries to discuss about character education building through reciting ṣalawāt. By using literature study, this article found that character education building is an effort in dealing with behavioral and moral degradation problems in the midst of the generation of the nation today. One of the interventions that can be done is through repetition of ṣalawāt recitations that are internalized and interpreted as a way to connect to the figure of uswatun ḥasanah, perfecting human morals, which has a positive impact on physical and mental, also has the power to change deviant behavior. As a recommendation, this article states that there is no harm if the above findings are applied to Islamic education institutions

Abstract

Bagi masyarakat adat, prilaku makan atau tuang dalam bahasa Sunda tidak hanya berorientasi jasmaniah. Ada nilai-nilai khusus yang kemudian dijadikan entitas keyakinan yang mentradisi. Terlebih menjadikan singkong sebagai makanan pokok masyarakatnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap makna tuang bagi masyarakat Cireundeu. Tuang tidak sekedar bahasa simbolik, namum mengandung makna budaya, tradisi, adat istiadat bahkan ritual adat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan studi literatur. Dihasilkan dari penelitian ini, tuang dimaknai bukan sekedar hajat jasmaniah semata, tapi hakikat-nya sumber kekuatan spiritual. Istilah teu dahar asal kuat, bermakna filosofis sebagai sumber kekuatan, kehidupan, dan kemandirian bagi masyarakat Cireundeu. Tuang membawa makna mendalam dalam membangun karakter pasrah atas keadaan diri untuk mempertahankan godaan manusia dari dua hal; si ujang (duit), si nyai (beras). Godaan-godaan lingkungan harus dijaga, agar kelestarian dan keunikan suatu entitas kampung adat tetap terpelihara.For indigenous peoples, the behavior of eating or tuang in Sundanese is not only physically oriented. There are special values which are then made into a belief entity that is a derivative. Especially making cassava as a staple food for the people. This research aims to reveal the meaning of Tuang for the people of Cireundeu. Tuang is not just a symbolic language, but contains the meaning of culture, tradition, customs and even traditional rituals. This research uses a qualitative approach by case study method. Collecting data through observation, interviews, documentation and literature studies. As a result of this research, The term tuang is not just as a physical necessity but the essence of the source of spiritual strength. The term "teu dahar asal kuat" as philosophical meaning is a source of strength, life, and independence for the people of Cireundeu. Tuang brings deep meaning in building resigned character over the state of self that can defend human temptation from two things; si ujang (money), si nyai (rice). The Environmental temptations that must be guarded, so that the sustainability and uniqueness of a traditional village entity is maintained.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to work out the implementation of VCT (Value Clarification Technique) learning methods in Muslim Education lessons in responding to social conflicts at SMK Harapan one Rancaekek Bandung. This analysis uses a qualitative approach, with a descriptive analytic methodology. the info assortment uses interview, observation, and documentation techniques. Whereas knowledge analysis techniques through knowledge reduction, knowledge show, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that 1) RPP created by Curriculum Experts has not been fully maximized in the achievement of learning outcomes. 2) This VCT learning strategy is employed fitly, however there square measure many points that square measure uncomprehensible in its implementation. 3) The direct implication is that student’s square measure ready to show positive and negative attitudes through psychological feature, emotional and mental object responses. Whereas the indirect perspective of caring, tolerance, democracy, mutual cooperation, responsibility, and courtesy.

Abstract

Sekolah idealnya harus berperan aktif menterjemahkan sikap toleransi atau tasammuh dalam lingkungan pendidikannya. Sikap toleransi ini ditumbuhkembangkan melalui penyadaran akan pentingnya makna kebersamaan diatas fondasi perbedaan yang tak bisa dihindarkan. Disinilah pentingnya muatan-muatan materi pembelajaran yang berbasis kearifan toleransi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif pendekatan kajian studi literatur. Dihasilkan dari penelitian ini sikap toleransi di sekolah dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan humanistik di tengah-tengah beranekaragamnya perbedaan peserta didik. Pembelajaran humanistik merupakan sebuah nilai kodrati yang menjadi landasan sekaligus tujuan pendidikan. Sejatinya, pendidikan toleransi menekankan pentingnya kurikulum, kompetensi guru, pendekatan serta metode belajar yang inklusif yang berorientasi nilai-nilai kemanusiaan yang bersifat universal, global di atas semua suku, aliran, ras, golongan, dan agama. Abstract

This research aims to explore the importance of information technology in the field of education. As an instrument of the modern digital world, the existence of information technology is possible to answer the level of learning difficulties that are currently considered conventional. This study uses a qualitative approach to the study of literature. As a result of this research, the influences of globalization, future education will be more open and two-way, diverse, multidisciplinary, and related to work productivity. With the development of information technology in the field of education, it is now possible to hold distance learning by using internet media to connect students with their lecturers, view student grades online, check finances, view class schedules, send assignments files given by lecturers etc. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengungkap pentingnya tekhnologi informasi dalam bidang pendidikan. Sebagai instrumen dunia digital modern, keberadaan teknologi informasi dimungkinkan dapat menjawab tingkat kesulitan pembelajaran yang saat ini dirasa masih konvensional. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif pendekatan kajian studi literatur. Dihasilkan dari penelitian ini, masuknya pengaruh globalisasi, pendidikan masa mendatang akan lebih bersifat terbuka dan dua arah, beragam, multidisipliner, serta terkait pada produktivitas kerja. Dengan adanya perkembangan teknologi informasi dalam bidang pendidikan, maka pada saat ini sudah dimungkinkan untuk diadakan belajar jarak jauh dengan menggunakan media internet untuk menghubungkan antara mahasiswa dengan dosennya, melihat nilai mahasiswa secara online, mengecek keuangan, melihat jadwal kuliah, mengirimkan berkas tugas yang diberikan dosen dan sebagainya.

Abstract

Research and surveys conducted by the Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI) released 84% of data that students in Indonesia experienced a moral decline. Student behavior such as student brawl, murder, bullying, and drugs can reduce learning outcomes. A comprehensive approach is needed to overcome them, including through the application of noble character habituation. The purpose of the study was to analyze the effect of the habit of noble morals on student learning outcomes at SMK 1 Palabuhanratu. This research uses descriptive quantitative research methods with Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling. Data collection techniques with observations and questionnaires and analyzed using multiple regression. The results of this study, "Very High" (86.27%), simultaneously have a significant effect on learning outcomes with a correlation of "Strong Enough," partially the noble character of students on parents/teachers/others and their environment significantly influence the results to learn.

Abstract

Teachers as professionals must have teacher competence, where these competencies are visually implemented in the teacher's ability to provide teaching skills during the learning process. One way that the teacher can do, the teacher's teaching skills are essential in learning so that they can foster student learning enthusiasm and facilitate the achievement of learning objectives. This study aimed to analyze teacher skills' effect on students' learning interest in Fiqih subjects. The research was conducted at MAN 2 Sukabumi in February-April 2019. This type of research is quantitative descriptive with Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling. Data collection techniques by observation, interviews, and Guttman scale questionnaires on the variables of teacher teaching skills and students' learning interests used validity, reliability, and normality tests. The data analysis technique uses linear regression analysis. The results of the study showed that the teaching skills of teachers at MAN 2 Sukabumi for the 2018/2019 school year were "High" with an average score of 13.89, and the most significant contribution came from the teacher's skill indicator of opening and closing lessons of 76.1%. Furthermore, student learning interest in Fiqih subjects is also included in the "High" category with an average value of 11.47. The most significant contribution comes from the student's attention indicator of 63.7%. The teacher's teaching significantly affected learning interest in students' Fiqih subjects at MAN 2 Sukabumi for the 2018/2019 academic year by 62.9%, while other factors influenced the remaining 37.1%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the construction of Islamic character education values based on local wisdom in the culture of the kasepuhan and kanoman palaces. The approach used in this study is qualitative with a descriptive method. The data collection techniques in this study are observation, interviews, documentation, and field notes. At the same time, the data analysis refers to the Miles and Huberman model, carried out through three steps: data reduction, data display, and conclusion. Moreover, the results of this study show that the process of constructing Islamic character education values in the culture of the Kanoman and Kasepuhan Palaces Cirebon, consisting of externalization, objectivization, and internalization of the values of local wisdom of the kanoman and kasepuhan communities that have been running at home, in schools, and in the community seems inseparable. All of them are interrelated; even though each of these institutions has a different role, each other still goes hand in shaping the character of a cultured society.

Abstract

This study aimed to find the influence of the inquiry approach and students’ curiosity on the learning outcomes of cognitive aspects on History of Islamic Culture subject. This research was conducted at MTs Jamiyatul Aulad Palabuhanratu Sukabumi Regency. This research approach was quantitative with the quasi experiment and treatment by level 2 X 2. The number of students who became the samples of the study was 64 students, divided into two groups, each consisting of 32 students. Data analysis techniques were two-path analysis of variance (ANOVA) followed by Tukey test. The results of this study indicated that 1) learning outcomes of the students taught using the inquiry method were higher than those taught using conventional method, 2) there was an influence of interaction between the inquiry method and the level of curiosity on students’ learning outcomes, 3) learning outcomes of students with high curiosity level treated by inquiry method were higher than students with high curiosity levels given conventional method; and 4) learning outcomes of students with low curiosity levels were higher than students with low curiosity levels given a conventional method.

Abstract

Pondok Pesantren At-Ta’awun adalah satu-satunya pondok pesantren yang ada di Desa Sawarna dimana pada tahun 2022 terdapat beberapa santri yang telah hafal lafadz matan kitab Safinatun Najah dan terjemahnya. Fokus penelitiannya (1) Bagaimanakah tindakan penerapan metode hafalan pada matan Kitab Safinatun Najah dalam meningkatkan pemahaman Fikih bagi Santri di Pondok Pesantren At-Ta’awun (2) Apa Tujuan penerapan metode hafalan pada matan Kitab Safinatun Najah dalam meningkatkan pemahaman Fikih bagi Santri di Pondok Pesantren At-Ta’awun. Metode yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan Pendekatan Pedagogik dan jenis metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu studi kasus. Tektik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Dan penentuan subyek penelitian menggunakan purposive yaitu memilih informan yang membidangi dan berkaitan dengan penelitian, diantaranya: pimpinan, ustadz pengajar dan santri. Hasil dari penelitian ini diantaranya: (1) Tindakan penerapan metode hafalan pada matan kitab Safinatun Najah di Pondok Pesantren At-Ta’awun ini diawali dengan perencanaan kegiatan penulisan terjemahan matan kitab tersebut dengan metode bandongan dan dilanjutkan dengan metode sorogan untuk mengetaui kebenaran cara membaca dan penulisan terjemahan. Kemudian dalam pelaksanaannya santri diperintahkan menghafalkan fashal-fashal yang sudah disorogkan sebelumnya. Waktu yang digunakan santri untuk melakukan setoran hafalan pada setiap ba’da dzuhur. (2) Tujuan penerapan metode hafalan pada matan Kitab Safinatun Najah di Pondok Pesantren At-Ta’awun untuk dapat meningkatkan, memudahkan dan menguatkan pemahaman santri terhadap ilmu-ilmu fikih ibadah dasar yang terdapat dalam matan kitab tersebut, yang mana hal tersebut salah satunya akan bermuara pada pengamalan cara praktek ibadah.
