Abstract

Teachers as professionals must have teacher competence, where these competencies are visually implemented in the teacher's ability to provide teaching skills during the learning process. One way that the teacher can do, the teacher's teaching skills are essential in learning so that they can foster student learning enthusiasm and facilitate the achievement of learning objectives. This study aimed to analyze teacher skills' effect on students' learning interest in Fiqih subjects. The research was conducted at MAN 2 Sukabumi in February-April 2019. This type of research is quantitative descriptive with Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling. Data collection techniques by observation, interviews, and Guttman scale questionnaires on the variables of teacher teaching skills and students' learning interests used validity, reliability, and normality tests. The data analysis technique uses linear regression analysis. The results of the study showed that the teaching skills of teachers at MAN 2 Sukabumi for the 2018/2019 school year were "High" with an average score of 13.89, and the most significant contribution came from the teacher's skill indicator of opening and closing lessons of 76.1%. Furthermore, student learning interest in Fiqih subjects is also included in the "High" category with an average value of 11.47. The most significant contribution comes from the student's attention indicator of 63.7%. The teacher's teaching significantly affected learning interest in students' Fiqih subjects at MAN 2 Sukabumi for the 2018/2019 academic year by 62.9%, while other factors influenced the remaining 37.1%.

Abstract

This study aimed to find the influence of the inquiry approach and students’ curiosity on the learning outcomes of cognitive aspects on History of Islamic Culture subject. This research was conducted at MTs Jamiyatul Aulad Palabuhanratu Sukabumi Regency. This research approach was quantitative with the quasi experiment and treatment by level 2 X 2. The number of students who became the samples of the study was 64 students, divided into two groups, each consisting of 32 students. Data analysis techniques were two-path analysis of variance (ANOVA) followed by Tukey test. The results of this study indicated that 1) learning outcomes of the students taught using the inquiry method were higher than those taught using conventional method, 2) there was an influence of interaction between the inquiry method and the level of curiosity on students’ learning outcomes, 3) learning outcomes of students with high curiosity level treated by inquiry method were higher than students with high curiosity levels given conventional method; and 4) learning outcomes of students with low curiosity levels were higher than students with low curiosity levels given a conventional method.

Abstract

Kefektipan dalam pembelajran tentunya tidak terlepas dari model pembelajaran yang disusun oleh seorang guru di sekolah. Model pembelajaran uswah hasanah, terutama dilaksanakan oleh guru sebagai pendidik di sekolah-sekolah sangat diperlukan dalam pembinaan akhlak mahmudah siswa. Oleh karena itu, kedudukan akhlak dalam kehidupan manusia sangat penting, baik sebagai individu maupun sebagai anggota masyarakat dalam berbangsa dan bernegara. Ukuran baik atau buruknya seseorang tergantung pada Akhlaknya atau tingkah lakunya. Diharapkan sekolah mampu melaksanakan fugsi tradisionalnya dan menjadi pusat pemberdayaan masyarakat, sosial dan ekonomi, tidak hanya itu pesantren juga dapat berperan sosial seperti menjadi pusat rehabilitas sosial pembinaan karakter baik yang harus diberikan kepada peserta santri pada usia dini serta harus dilakukan oleh pihak yang terkait seperti orang tua, pemerintah, lembaga pendidikan maupun pihak lain dan dilakukan secara kontinue agar mereka dapat memiliki kepribadian yang baik sebagaimana dicontohkan oleh Rosulullah SAW serta menjauhi karakter yang buruk. Guru memiliki berfungsi yang sangat besar dan stategis dalam upaya pembentukan karakter baik siswa didalam lembaga pendidikan agar mereka dapat istiqomah dalam melaksanakan kebiasaan yang baik. Berdasarkan hasil pra penelitian di MTs Gandasoli, guru bisa membentuk akhlak mahmudah siswa hal ini dapat dilihat dari kegiatan yang dilakukan baik melalui nasihat, pendidikan dengan cara menanamkan nilai-nilai moral serta etika bersosial baik dalam lingkungan sekolah maupun masyarakat, serta memberikan hukuman yang tujuan untuk mendidik. Berdasarkan hasil analisa, maka penulis dapat menarik kesimpulan terhadap penelitian ini bahwa Model Pembelajaran Uswah Hasanah dalam Pembinaan Akhlak Mahmudah Siswa di Sekolah meliputi lemah lembut, kasih sayang, pembiasaan-pembiasaan, kisah qur’ani dan sanksi. Sementara Efektivitas  Model Pembelajaran Uswah Hasanah dalam Pembinaan Akhlak Mahmudah Siswa di MTs Gandasoli Cikakak Sukabumi meliputi sopan santun, sikap tolong menolong, disiplin, jujur dan relegius.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi kemampuan guru PAI dalam pembentukan karakter siswa melalui pendekatan pembelajaran Discovery Learning di SMP PGRI Bantargadung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian deduktif kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi kelas, wawancara dengan kepala sekolah dan guru PAI, serta dokumentasi yang terkait dengan pembelajaran PAI dan pembentukan karakter siswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi pengumpulan data, pengkondensasian data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan berdasarkan data yang terkumpul. Untuk memastikan keabsahan data, penelitian ini menggunakan triangulasi sumber, metode dan waktu. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, disimpulkan bahwa strategi yang digunakan oleh guru PAI di SMP PGRI Bantargadung meliputi beberapa langkah. Pertama, guru mengelompokkan siswa berdasarkan karakter dan kemampuan pemahaman siswa dengan menggunakan strategi pengorganisasian pembelajaran, penyampaian pembelajaran, dan pengelolaan pembelajaran. Kedua, guru membiasakan siswa dengan aktivitas sebelum pembelajaran, seperti membaca sholawat. Ketiga, guru memberikan penyampaian informasi, melibatkan partisipasi siswa, tes, dan kegiatan lanjutan. Faktor pendukung strategi guru PAI dalam pembentukan karakter siswa meliputi peran kepala sekolah, orang tua, dan siswa. Selain itu, perhatian dan minat yang ditunjukkan oleh guru-guru serta motivasi siswa untuk terus belajar dan pembentukan karakter yang lebih baik juga menjadi faktor pendukung. Namun, terdapat beberapa faktor penghambat strategi guru PAI, seperti keterbatasan waktu dan keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana yang tersedia.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine: (1) the influence of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on the learning motivation of class XI Science students at MAN 2 Sukabumi and (2) the influence of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on the learning outcomes of class XI Science students at MAN 2 Sukabumi. This research uses a quasi-experimental research design using a pre-test and post-test group research design. The research results showed that there was no influence of PBL on the learning motivation of class XI Science students at MAN 2 Sukabumi. The influence of PBL on the learning outcomes of class XI Science students at MAN 2 Sukabumi in each domain is: (1) there is an influence of the PBL model on students' social attitude learning outcomes, (2) there is no influence of the PBL model on students' spiritual learning outcomes, (3) there is an influence of the PBL model on students' knowledge learning outcomes (4) there is an influence of the PBL model on learning outcomes student skills. The application of the PBL model to increase motivation so that it becomes optimal should be modified.

Abstract

Islamic character education plays a crucial role in shaping the noble morals and personality of students, particularly in vocational schools. The cultivation of moral, ethical, and cultural values based on Islamic teachings is an effective approach to strengthening student character education. This study aims to examine the application of the concept of moral, ethical, and cultural cultivation in reinforcing Islamic character education at SMK Jamiyyatul Aulad. A qualitative approach with an analytical descriptive method was employed, with data collected through observations, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using thematic analysis. The results of this study indicate that integrating Islamic moral and ethical cultivation into both learning and extracurricular activities enhances students' awareness of the importance of good morals, discipline, responsibility and mutual respect. Islamic culture, reinforced through daily practices such as congregational prayers (salah), dhuha prayers and social activities, further strengthens the implementation of character education at the school. This study concludes that by integrating Islamic values into the curriculum, exemplifying these values through teachers, habituating religious activities, and involving parents and the community, students can internalize and practice Islamic moral, ethical, and cultural values in their daily lives, thereby enhancing their overall well-being.

Abstract

The global environmental crisis highlights the need for educational institu tions, including Islamic education, to cultivate ecological awareness among younger generations. However, existing Islamic education curricula often emphasize doctrinal and cognitive aspects while lacking structured eco theological integration. This study addresses this gap by examining how Green Islamic Education can be embedded within the curriculum to shape an ecotheological generation at SMPIT Sahabat Alam Pelabuhanratu, Sukabumi. Using a qualitative case study design, the research draws on curriculum documents, concepts of Islamic ecotheology, and observations of environmentally oriented educational practices. Data were analyzed through content analysis to identify patterns of value integration and pedagogical implementation. The findings indicate that incorporating the values of tawhid, khilafah, amanah, and masuliyyah into the curriculum fosters environmental care as a form of worship and spiritual responsibility. Namun, kurikulum pendidikan Islam yang ada umumnya masih menekankan aspek doktrinal dan kognitif tanpa integrasi ekoteologis yang terstruktur. Studi ini mengisi kesenjangan tersebut dengan mengkaji bagaimana Green Islamic Education dapat diintegrasikan ke dalam kurikulum untuk membentuk generasi ekoteologis di SMPIT Sahabat Alam Pelabuhanratu, Sukabumi. Menggunakan desain studi kasus kualitatif, penelitian ini memanfaatkan dokumen kurikulum, konsep ekoteologi Islam, serta observasi praktik pendidikan berorientasi lingkungan. Data dianalisis melalui teknik analisis konten untuk mengidentifikasi pola integrasi nilai dan implementasi pedagogis. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa pengintegrasian nilai tauhid, khilafah, amanah, dan masuliyyah dalam struktur kurikulum mampu menumbuhkan kepedulian lingkungan sebagai bentuk ibadah dan tanggung jawab spiritual. Abstract

This research was motivated by the researcher's interest in the application of tahfidz learning (memorization of the Qur'an) at MI Qur'an Al-Qudwah Palabuhanratu. Obstacles in learning tahfidz in elementary schools include differences in students' memory abilities, students' laziness, and tendencies to play. MI Qur'an Al-Qudwah Palabuhanratu runs a tahfidz learning program that involves tahfidz teachers and all class teachers. The purpose of this study was to describe how the application of tahfidz learning improves students' memorization of the Qur'an at MI Qur'an Al-Qudwah Palabuhanratu. This research is a qualitative research conducted at MI Qur'an Al-Qudwah Palabuhanratu. Data was collected through observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. Data is analyzed by reducing, displaying, and drawing conclusions. The validity of the data is checked through triangulation of data sources and techniques, and combining them with theory. The results of the study show several things: (1) The program for implementing tahfidz learning includes tahfidz subjects, muraja'ah, BTQ (Reading and Writing Qur'an), Al-Qur'an sima'an program, and munaqasyah assembly. (2) Tahfidz learning activities take place on Monday-Thursday. Grades I, II, and III carry out in the morning before class begins, while grades IV and V in the afternoon before going home. The methods used are different, such as the sama'i and jama' methods for grades I, II, and III, as well as the bin nadzar and tahfidz methods for grades IV and V. Memorizing material also varies according to the juz of the Qur'an. (3) The actions taken in implementing tahfidz learning include the tahfidz teacher's suggestion to students who have difficulty achieving targets to practice more at home with the help of their parents. Daily evaluations are also carried out to monitor student memorization progress. Through this program, research shows that there are efforts to improve students' memorization of the Qur'an by involving various methods and activities at MI Qur'an Al-Qudwah Palabuhanratu.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berawal dari kebutuhan mendesak untuk meningkatkan kreativitas anak dalam proses pembelajaran. Dalam konteks ini, penggunaan cerita bergambar dianggap sebagai pendekatan yang menarik dan menyenangkan. Tujuan dari penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi dampak positif dari penggunaan cerita bergambar terhadap tingkat kreativitas anak di kelompok A KB Arridhwaany. Melibatkan 8 anak didik, penelitian ini diimplementasikan dengan desain kolaboratif yang melibatkan peran peneliti, kepala sekolah, dan guru kelas pendamping. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, catatan lapangan, wawancara, dan dokumentasi guna memperoleh gambaran yang komprehensif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan kreativitas anak yang signifikan, dari pra-siklus sebesar 35,41% hingga mencapai 80,73% pada siklus II. Indikator kreativitas seperti reaksi kreatif, kelonggaran perhatian yang lebih panjang, pengorganisasian diri/kepercayaan diri, keterampilan mengaitkan ide/bercerita, pengembangan imajinasi, dan penambahan kosakata baru semuanya mengalami peningkatan. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa cerita bergambar mampu menjadi strategi pembelajaran yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kreativitas anak pada tingkat kelompok usia dini.
