Abstract

Tiered supervision that supports improving the quality of nursing services in the field of nursing at Sultan Agung Islamic Hospital has not been carried out in a structured and documented manner. Baitul Izzah 1 room as a disease treatment room in class III, the head of the room has not yet supervised the Person in Charge of Care (PPJA) and so on PPJA to the Associate Nurse (PP). The supervision that has been carried out so far is only to ask directly about existing problems to the head of the room and directly observe the activities of implementing nursing care by PPJA and PP. Tiered supervision does not go well, because there are no references and standards for its implementation. The purpose of this study was to determine Implementation of The Tiered Supervision as a Supervision Function. It was found that the implementation of tiered supervision instruments improved the performance of the head of the room, PPJA and PP, then the patient's medical record document increases in completeness chargingespecially the patient's Islamic education document. In conclusion, tiered supervision instruments are very helpful in the implementation of the supervisory function as well as monitoring and evaluation in nursing management in the implementation of nursing care in the inpatient room. The recommendation for the role of the nursing field that is most important in controlling the quality of nursing care is to actively involve staff to jointly ensure the continuity of the implementation of tiered nursing supervision.

Abstract

Model Delegasi Keperawatan Relactor (MDK’R’) adalah suatu alat untuk memastikan atau menjamin penyelesaian tugas sesuai dengan tujuan dan standar asuhan keperawatan. MDK’R’ memiliki prinsip yaitu adanya keseimbangan antara komponen tanggung jawab (Responsibility), kemampuan (Accountability) dan wewenang (Authority). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran penerapan komponen delegasi tanggung jawab (Responsibility), mengetahui gambaran penerapan komponen delegasi kemampuan (Accountability), mengetahui gambaran penerapan komponen delegasi wewenang (Authority) dan mengetahui gambaran penerapan model delegasi keperawatan relactor (MDK’R’) pada perawat kepala ruang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif, tempat penelitian RS Roemani Semarang dengan jumlah sampel 20 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penerapan komponen responsibility dengan kategori baik sebesar 100%, accountability dengan kategori baik sebesar 90% dan cukup sebesar 10%, dan komponen authority dengan kategori baik sebesar 80% dan kategori cukup sebesar 20% dan penerapan MDK’R’ di RS Roemani Semarang perawat kepala ruang tergolong baik sebanyak 100%. Penerapan MDK’R’ komponen responsibility, accountability, dan authority menunjukkan perawat kepala ruang memiliki tanggung jawab yang baik, kemampuan yang baik, dan wewenang yang baik. Hal ini menunjukkan MDK’R di RS Roemani Semarang telah diterapkan dengan baik.

Abstract

An unmanaged nurse performance satisfaction could reduce productivity, motivation, organisational commitment, and performance, increasing absenteeism and work turnover. Nurse performance satisfaction could be affected by needs, aspirations, allowance, behaviour, income, leadership style, job, workload, work environment, facility, leadership, promotion, work partner, supervisor, productivity, work efficacy, policy, and work condition. This study aims to determine the factors related to Inpatient Ward Nurse Performance Satisfaction at KRMT Wongsonegoro Hospital. It is an associative quantitative study using a cross-sectional approach. The research subject was an hospital ward nurse with criteria such as practitioner nurse with a diploma, bachelor's, or professional degree with a minimum of a year of working experience. One hundred forty-eight respondents were chosen using proportionate simple random sampling. The research focuses on measuring determinant factors that affect nurses' performance satisfaction using analysis of multiple linear regression tests with a backward method. The research finding shows the determinant variable of nurse performance satisfaction are nurse perception toward the leadership of the chief nurse (X1), nurse perception toward work (X2), and nurse perception toward workload (X3). The variables show significant positive relationships that simultaneously affect nurse performance satisfaction (Y) at 83.3%. The dominant variable that affects nurse performance satisfaction (Y) is nurse perception toward work (X2). It is because the knowledge owned by nurse make them happy and positively impact their responsibility. The unity between knowledge, feeling, and responsibility signifies accomplished nurse work satisfaction.

Abstract

Children with leukemia often experience physical and psychological problems caused by the disease or side effects of treatment. In addition to care the child is in the hospital while at home, the child also needs treatment related to the problems faced. The need for care at home in children with leukemia to be known so that health workers are able to meet the needs of care while the child is at home and able to improve the ability of parents to meet the needs of care at home. This study aims to analyze the need for home care in children with leukemia. The design of this study used a qualitative method with a descriptive phenomenological approach. This research is a form of formative research that uses certain techniques to get answers about what the target audience thinks and feels. In this study, researchers need to understand the need for home care in children with leukemia. The study was conducted on parents and children with leukemia living in a halfway house in Semarang. Data collection was carried out by interviews and focus group discussions on participants. The data that had been obtained was carried out. Analysis was carried out to determine the theme included physical care needs, nutritional needs, emotional needs, and social needs. Abstrak: Anak dengan leukemia sering mengalami masalah fisik maupun psikologis yang disebabkan dari penyakit maupun efek samping pengobatan. Selain perawatan selama anak di rumah sakit, saat di rumah anak juga membutuhkan perawatan berkaitan dengan masalah yang dihadapi. Kebutuhan perawatan di rumah pada anak leukemia perlu diketahui agar tenaga kesehatan mampu memenuhi kebutuhan perawatan selama anak di rumah dan mampu meningkatkan kemampuan orang tua dalam memenuhi kebutuhan perawatan di rumah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan perawatan di rumah pada anak leukemia. Rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi deskriptif. Penelitian ini merupakan salah satu bentuk penelitian formatif yang menggunakan teknik-teknik tertentu untuk mendapatkan jawaban tentang apa yang dipikirkan dan dirasakan oleh khalayak sasaran. Pada penelitian ini peneliti perlu memahami kebutuhan perawatan di rumah pada anak leukemia. Penelitian dilakukan pada orang tua dan anak leukemia yang tinggal di rumah singgah Semarang. Pegambilan data dilakukan dengan wawancara dan focus group discussion pada partisipan. Data yang sudah didapatkan dilakukan analisis untuk menentukan tema. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan kebutuhan perawatan di rumah pada anak leukemia meliputi kebutuhan perawatan fisik, kebutuhan nutrisi, kebutuhan emosional dan kebutuhan sosial.
