Supply chain is not just confined to manufacturing or production-oriented industries but its implications are also there in healthcare sector. Such healthcare supply chain can work even better with proper care on human capital side. With an increase or betterment in human capital, agility of the sector also gets affected. In this study, author has checked the impact of human capital on health care agility in Thailand’s health care sector along with analyzing the mediating role of healthcare supply chain performance in given relationship. Moreover, moderating role of technological orientation was also assessed in relationship between human capital and healthcare supply chain performance. Data has been collected from various hospitals of Thailand and questionnaires were distributed among administrative staff of those hospitals. Responses were then analyzed on SPSS and AMOS through applying various screening and structural equation modeling test. Results have indicated that human capital significantly enhances agility in healthcare sector and healthcare supply chain performance also significantly mediates in this relationship. Implications of this study are mostly focusing on service sector that it can improve its agility through better human capital and with increases supply chain performance.

Nowadays organizations are facing multiple challenges such as survival in competitive dynamic and competitive environment, meet the customer needs and the impact of their action on the environment are the few ones to name. Sustainability has triggered the need for the companies to revisit their supply chains to cope up with the environmental needs and one of the major demand from the customers as well. In this regard the present study has examined the impact of quality management techniques and system on the green supply chain management practices. The study has explored the JIT, TQM and quality management system effectiveness as a potential driver for the green supply chain management practices. The data were collected from the procurement managers which were working in the auto parts manufacturing industry. Smart PLS was used for the data analysis. Results of the study revealed a significant link between all the independents (TQM, JIT and quality management system) and dependent variable (green supply chain management practices). The direction of all the relationships was positive. However, according to the results TQM was the strongest predictor for the green supply chain management practices.

The environmental challenges for business are on rise. Bearing this fact in mind current has explored the relationship between different pressures and green supply chain management practices (GSCMP). In addition current study has considered the GSCMP as a mediator. 220 respondents participated in the study and Smart-PLS was used for data analysis. Results revealed positive link between coercive, normative, mimetic pressure and GSCMP. Furthermore the study also revealed that GSCMP significantly and positively mediates the relationship between coercive, normative, mimetic pressure and operational efficiency. The study concluded that when an organization is forced through the external sources such as legislation, environment protection agencies and customers they tend to follow the GSCMP. These practices in turn lead towards the operational efficiency of the firms. The limitations and future research areas are provided in the study.

Organization can never achieve sustainability until its employees not develop such consciousness about sustainability. Such consciousness includes knowingness, attitude and behavior regarding sustainability which can affect sustainability performance. This research has seen the impact of supply chain resilience on sustainability performance in mediating role of sustainability consciousness in Thailand’s manufacturing sector. Managerial employees have been taken as unit of analysis as data has been collected from them through questionnaire. Respective data was then analyzed by applying CFA and SEM through AMOS and data screening through SPSS. Results have confirmed that supply chain resilience has significant impact on sustainability performance through sustainability consciousness dimensions. This study is unique and novel due to adding sustainability performance as new outcome of resilience driven sustainability consciousness. Implications of this study will add empirical evidence about sustainability consciousness and performance linkage and will also facilitate Thailand’s manufacturing industry to train their employees to develop sustainability consciousness in them. Future research indications and limitations have also been given in this study.

The research study aims to examine the relationship between GSCM and environment related outcomes among Indonesian manufacturing SMEs. Literature review depicted that there are various important and crucial factors today, important in determining the environmental performance. The current study entails the green HRM practices as moderating effect between dependent and independent constructs of the study. The data was collected by questionnaire from SMEs of Indonesia and examined the collected responses by using SMART-PLS. Interestingly; findings have been shared by the study that green supply chain practices influence the environmental performance. The study found that moderating role of Green HRM was not observed between green purchasing and environmental performance but green HR practices moderate the relationship between green logistics and environmental performance.
