Abstract

Fair education is a right for all human beings. However, application does not always represent justice. Gender segregation is one of the problems in education. The separation between men and women can be a barrier in the learning process. Although access to education is extensive, it does not rule out the possibility that this gender segregation model is still stretched. This model can still be found in some boarding schools and schools with a strongly religious base. Separation can occur in some learning activities as well as the whole activities. This model is believed to perpetue gender bias and make the relationship between men and women tend to be rigid. Gender responsive education is one way to give students the widest possible space to learn together regardless of gender. The learning process in school tends to give full rights in learning and gives fair attention to the special needs of men and women. The purpose of this paper describes and analyzes how to realize the nuances of gender responsive education. The method used in this writing is qualitative method with descriptive analysis. The theory used to describe the reality of gender segregation in education is the theory of social construction. The results show that realizing a strong education of gender responsiveness requires support from all aspect of life. Aspects of awareness and understanding related to gender equality are important. Forming gender-responsive learning can be done with collaborative learning approaches and methods that collaborate with the participation of both men and women.  Keywords: Learning, Gender Responsiveness, Gender Segregation   AbstrakMengenyam pendidikan secara adil merupakan hak bagi semua manusia. Namun, penerapan tidak selalu merepresentasikan keadilan. Segregasi gender menjadi salah satu problematika dalam dunia pendidikan. Dimana pemisahan antara laki-laki dan perempuan dapat menjadi tembok pembatas dalam proses pembelajaran. Meskipun akses terhadap pendidikan begitu luas, tidak menutup kemungkinan model segregasi gender ini masih melenggang. Model ini masih dapat dijumpai di beberapa pondok pesantren maupun sekolah dengan basis agama yang kuat. Pemisahan dapat terjadi pada sebagian aktivitas belajar maupun keseluruhan aktivitas. Model ini disinyalir dapat melanggengkan bias gender dan menjadikan hubungan antara laki-laki dan perempuan cenderung kaku. Pendidikan dengan nuansa responsif gender merupakan salah satu cara untuk memberikan ruang seluas-luasnya pada para peserta didik untuk belajar bersama tanpa memandang gender. Pembelajaran cenderung memberikan hak sepenuhnya dalam belajar dan memberikan perhatian yang adil bagi kebutuhan khusus laki-laki dan perempuan. Tujuan penulisan ini mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis bagaimana mewujudkan nuansa pendidikan yang responsif gender. Metode yang digunakan dalam penulisan ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan analisis deskriptif. Sedangkan teori yang dipakai untuk menggambarkan realitas segregasi gender dalam pendidikan adalah teori konstruksi sosial. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa mewujudkan pendidikan yang kental akan nuansa responsif gender membutuhkan support dari semua lapisan masyarakat. Aspek kesadaran dan pemahaman terkait dengan kesetaraan gender adalah penting. Membentuk pembelajaran yang responsif gender dapat dilakukan dengan pendekatan maupun metode pengajaran yang bersifat kolaboratif (collaborative learning) yang menggandeng partisipasi baik laki-laki maupun perempuan.  Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran, Responsif Gender, Segregasi Gender

Abstract

Bullying is an act of insulting someone present without realizing it in a form of social relationship. Bullying behaviour varies, such as verbal bullying, physical bullying, sexual bullying, emotional bullying, and cyber bullying. Cyber bullying is a crime that is committed deliberately in the form of slander, ridicule, harsh words, harassment, threats and insults. This article tries to parse the cyber bullying that has occurred to one of the many influencers in Indonesia and on social media Youtube. This paper uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. The approach is used because they want to see more than why bullying occurs and the impact that bullying has. This paper will try to parse the phenomenon of cyber bullying based on the perspective of Anthony Giddens' structuration theory. In this case, some institutions and structures influence social practice.The presence of agents can create a new structure or change an old structure. However, agents can also continue pre-existing structures. In the case of society, it can be said to produce a new structure, namely cyber bullying, because cyber bullying gets a consensus in the community. Meanwhile, it can be said that it reproduces the structure because the act of intimidation has already existed, namely bullying. Macro agents, which is in this case are people who commit cyber bullying. Meanwhile, micro agents are victims of cyber bullying. Where social media are dynamic, fluid and processual. This also perpetuates cyber bullying, in which the structure of society also supports the action. Keywords: Cyber bullying, Social Media, Structuration. AbstrakBullying merupakan tindakan penghinaan terhadap seseorang yang seringkali hadir tanpa disadari dalam suatu bentuk relasi sosial. Perilaku bullying memiliki keragaman seperti verbal bullying, physical bullying, sexual bullying, emosional bullying, dan cyber bullying. Perkembangan teknologi dan tingkat konsumsi social media yang makin meningkat juga menjadi salah satu faktor terjadinya perilaku bullying, khusunya cyber bullying. Cyber bullying merupakan tindakan kejahatan yang dilakukan secara sengaja dalam bentuk fitnah, cemooh, kata-kata kasar, pelecehan, ancaman, dan hinaan. Tulisan ini mencoba mengurai tentang cyber bullying yang terjadi pada salah satu dari sekian banyak influencer di Indonesia dan terjadi pada social media Youtube. Dalam tulisan ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Pendekatan ini digunakan karena ingin mengetahui lebih mengapa bullying terjadi serta dampak yang ditimbulkan dari bullying tersebut. Tulisan ini akan mencoba mengurai fenomena cyber bullying dari pandangan teori strukturasi Anthony Giddens. Dalam kasus ini, terdapat agen dan struktur yang mempengaruhi munculnya praktik sosial. Di mana agen mempunyai kekuasaan penuh untuk memproduksi maupun mereproduksi struktur. Kehadiran agen dapat membuat struktur yang baru atau mengubah struktur yang lama. Namun agen juga dapat melanjutkan struktur yang sudah ada sebelumnya. Dalam kasus ini masyarakat bisa dikatakan memproduksi struktur baru yaitu cyber bullying, karena cyber bullying mendapatkan konsensus di masyarakat. Sedangkan dapat dikatakan mereproduksi struktur karena tindakan intimidasi tersebut sudah ada sebelumnya yakni bullying. Agen makro yang mana dalam kasus ini merupakan masyarakat yang melakukan tindak cyber bullying. Sedangkan agen mikro adalah korban dari cyber bullying. Dimana social media ini memiliki sifat dinamis, cair, dan prosesual. Hal ini juga ikut melanggengkan tindakan cyber bullying, dimana struktur masyarakat juga ikut mendukung terjadinya tindakantersebut. Kata Kunci: Cyber bullying, Media Sosial, Strukturasi.

Abstract

The unstoppable flow of information can be accessed by children. Parents as the child's closest ecosystem, have an important role to assist in using this technology. This education was provided by the Fatayat Nahdatul Ulama (NU) group in one of the Madiun areas. In order to prevent and solve problems related to the use of gadgets, efforts can be made through increasing community participation through socialization and education as a preventive measure. This program involved 40 Fatayat women. The service program aims to provide knowledge that can ultimately help individuals have awareness of the role of women related to digital literacy. The method of service carried out using lectures and discussions. The results of the service showed that at the end of the activity session participants showed an understanding of the impact of using devices, and awareness that parents know the types of applications on children's devicesa

Abstract

This study examines the phenomenon of catcalling in religious college environments. The objectives of the study were to describe catcalling behavior, identify forms of catcalling, and map locations where catcalling occurs in colleges. The study used a mixed-methods approach with data collection through surveys that were further in-depth with interviews. Informants were selected using a purposive sampling technique with the criteria of students who had experienced catcalling. The results of the study showed that catcalling that occurred among students took the form of whistling, excessive greetings, and compliments that were sexual or demeaning. This form of catcalling caused feelings of discomfort, anxiety, and threat to the victim. Catcalling behavior occurs due to a lack of knowledge that such actions are a form of verbal sexual harassment. In addition, other motives found were the urge to be playful, seek attention, and feelings of superiority from the perpetrator towards the victim. The locations where catcalling occurs are generally in public spaces on campus, such as classroom hallways, parking areas, and gazebos. The analysis was conducted using Michel Foucault's theory of power relations to understand the dynamics of power in the context of catcalling, including how social norms, gender structures, and knowledge shape these harassment practices. This study also found a form of resistance from students, both individually and collectively, to the practice of catcalling through critical awareness and reporting to the authorities. This study is expected to be the basis for developing campus policies that are more responsive to the issue of sexual harassment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan menganalisis konsep diri ODHA dalam konteks pengembangan agama di Majelis Sinau Agomo, serta interaksi yang terjalin dengan anggota komunitas lainnya sehingga mempengaruhi konsep diri pada ODHA. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Teknik yang digunakan dalam mengumpulkan data melalui metode kualitatif yaitu terknik wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ODHA di Majelis Sinau Agomo mengalami perubahan positif dalam konsep diri mereka berkat dukungan komunitas dan lingkungan yang inklusif. Kegiatan keagamaan tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai sarana spiritual, tetapi juga sebagai media guna membentuk konsep diri ODHA dimana pendalaman agama dapat memperkuat rasa kepercayaan diri dan memberikan dukungan sosial. Melalui partisipasi dalam komunitas keagamaan, ODHA dapat menemukan pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang diri mereka, mengurangi stigma, dan membangun hubungan yang positif dengan lingkungan sekitar. This paper explores the dinamycs of self-concept among people living with HIV/AIDS in the context of religious development at Majelis Sinau Agomo, as well as interactions with other community members that affect the self-concept of ODHA. This research uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The techniques used in collecting data through qualitative methods are in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that ODHA in Majelis Sinau Agomo experienced positive changes in their self-concept thanks to community support and an inclusive environment. Religious activities not only serve as a spiritual tool, but also as a medium to shape the self-concept of ODHA where increased religion can strengthen self-confidence and provide social support. Through participation in religious communities, ODHA can find a better understanding of themselves, reduce stigma, and build positive relationships with the surrounding environment.
