Abstract

The objective of this research is to describe the gathering of all kinds of writing styles in novel Carrie. In addition, this research also describes the setting of place that can be found in almost important events in the novel and the oddity experienced by the characters in the novel. The research method used descriptivequalitative with the approach that focuses on the intrinsic element of the novel that is analyzed by using carnivalistic concept. The result of the research showed that the novel could be categorized into carnivalistic novel because in the novel, there are varous kinds of writing styles that might not be fictional writing. In addition, the fact that the novel belongs to a carnivalistic novel was supported by the setting of place (general place) and the oddity experienced by its characters. In conclusion, the carnivalistic characteristics of the novel makes the novel expose such a “beautiful performance”.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan mengenai berjejalnya segala jenis tulisan dalam novel Carrie. Selain itu,dideskripsikan pula adanya latar tempat di sebagian besar peristiwa penting di dalamnya, serta keanehan-keanehan yang dialami tokoh dalam cerpen tersebut. Metode penelitian yang dipakai adalah metode deskriptif-kualitatif dengan pendekatan yang berfokus pada unsur intrinsik novel yang dianalisis dengan konsep karnivalistik.Hasil penelitian ini adalah novel tersebut merupakan jenis novel karnivalistik karena di dalamnya terdapat berbagai macam jenis tulisan yang bisa saja tulisan tersebut bukan tergolong tulisan fiksional.Selain itu kekarnivalistikan novel tersebut didukung dengan adanya latar tempat (tempat umum) dan keanehan yang dialami tokohnya.Simpulanya, ciri kekarnivalistikan novel tersebut membuat novel tersebut seolah menampakkan “pertunjukan indah”.

Abstract

The objective of this study wadescribing the uniqueness of narrative structure of “Cinta Tak Pernah Tua” which has consisting of the various usage of pronouns refer to the central character in each story and in order of all stories which seems not interconnected so  it created the problem which can be classified into subgenre problematics of the collection of stories or novel “Cinta Tak Pernah Tua”. The research method used in this study wasstructural method.  this research used­ Gerard Genette’s narratology theory. The result showedthe uniqueness of the various usage of pronouns referring to the central character in each story as the result of the different viewer and story teller of those stories. In addition, all stories which were published in mass media, in fact, have linearity in their story order. In conclusion, “Cinta Tak Pernah Tua” can be classified as a novel. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan keunikan struktur naratif Cinta Tak Pernah Tua yang meliputi, kevariatifan penggunaan kata ganti yang mengacu pada tokoh yang menjadi fokusdi setiap cerita dan tata semua cerita yang tampak tidak berkaitan sehingga menimbulkan problematika termasuk dalam subgenre kumpulan cerpen atau novel buku Cinta Tak Pernah Tua tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode struktural. Teori yang digunakan yakni teori naratologi Gerard Genette. Hasil penelitian ini adalah keunikan kevariatifan pemakaian kata ganti yang mengacu pada tokoh yang menjadi fokus di setiap ceritadisebabkan pemandang dari beberapa cerita tersebut berbeda serta pencerita beberapa cerita tersebut berbeda pula. Selain itu, semua cerita yang termuat di beberapa media masa ternyata mempunyai kelinearan dalam tata ceritanya.Simpulannya, Cinta Tak Pernah Tua dapat digolongkan menjadi sebuah novel.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the role of school principals in decision-making for educational planning at MTs Al-Munawaro. Decision-making in educational planning is a crucial aspect that affects the quality and direction of educational policies in schools. Using a qualitative approach, this research explores the experiences, views, and perceptions of the principal and teachers in the decision-making process. The findings show that the principal begins the decision-making process by gathering accurate data on human resources, school facilities, and student academic performance. Subsequently, the principal evaluates various decision alternatives, considering the budget, short- and long-term needs, and stakeholder involvement. The decisions made include curriculum planning, improvement of learning facilities, and teacher professional development programs. Decision implementation is monitored through regular evaluation meetings and feedback from stakeholders. The study also identifies challenges in decision-making, such as budget limitations that impact planning. Overall, the decision-making process carried out by the school principal plays an important role in enhancing the quality of education at MTs Al-Munawaro, despite various challenges that need to be addressed.

Abstract

Education is one of the important factors in the progress of a nation, and improving the quality of education is one of the main priorities of the Indonesian government. To achieve these goals, school principals have a strategic role in managing and developing educational resources. This study aims to identify and analyze the strategies implemented by principals at MTs Al-Munawaroh in improving the quality of education. A qualitative approach was used to explore various aspects related to practices, policies and challenges faced by principals in an effort to improve the quality of education. Primary data sources are principals and teachers. Secondary data from relevant books and journals. The results showed that principals at MTs Al-Munawaroh implemented several important strategies, including improving teachers' pedagogical competence through regular training and workshops, as well as using innovative and technology-based learning methods. Principals also implement regular learning supervision to ensure that the learning process runs in accordance with established standards. In addition, the involvement of parents and the community in school activities is an important strategy in supporting the development of education quality, which is organized through the School Council. Improving facilities and infrastructure is also a major focus in supporting the quality of learning. With these strategies, MTs Al-Munawaroh has succeeded in creating a conducive and quality educational environment. This research is expected to provide insight for other schools that want to improve the quality of education through a similar approach.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan repesentasi kenyamanan dalam iklan Semen Gresik “Kenyamanan untuk Selamanya”. Teori yang digunakan adalah semiotika Roland Barthes yang dikenal dengan konsep mitologi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan sumber data iklan Semen Gresik bertema “Kenyamanan untuk Selamanya” dan “Tak Henti Membagun Negeri”. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa makna denotatif iklan Semen Gresik “Kenyamanan untuk Selamanya” adalah suasana kota yang berdiri di atas Semen Gresik dan bangunan-bangunan yang terbuat dari Semen Gresik. Sementara itu makna konotatif adalah adanya keindahan, kedamaian, dan kepermaian itu menunjukkan kenyamanan kota yang dapat diwujudkan oleh Semen Gresik. Selenjutnya mitos yang tampak adalah adalah kota yang baik adalah kota yang meskipun berdiri gedung-gedung mewah, harus ada pohon-pohon atau tanaman hijau yang mengelilinginya juga hewan-hewan bisa hidup liar di sekitar masyarakat yang ada. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan Semen Gresik melalui iklan tersebut ingin menunjukkan cita-citanya yang mendunia dan melawan presepsi bahwa mereka merusak lingkungan.

Abstract

The FKPMM institution (Communication Forum for Mosque and Mushola Management) is one of the institutions that plays an important role in the development of Islamic da'wah with a religious moderation approach. In an increasingly complex global context, religious moderation is the key to maintaining social harmony and tolerance between religious communities. FKPMM, as an institution that focuses on developing da'wah through counseling and education, seeks to introduce balanced, tolerant and inclusive Islamic values. This research focuses on examining how FKPMM Institution builds religious moderation-based da'wah and creates inclusive and harmonious da'wah. In this case the theory used in religious moderation there are concepts, namely, tawasuth (middle attitude), tawazun (balance), and tasamuh (tolerance), which are the basis for religious moderation values. The research method used is using a qualitative approach based on field studies. There are research results that show how the FKPMM institution's da'wah strategy and the application of its inclusive da'wah, as well as a friendly and balanced da'wah approach that does not cause conflict in the community. Thus, FKPMM plays a strategic role as an agent of strengthening moderation values in society, and is relevant as a reference in the development of da'wah in other multicultural areas.
