Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of Facebook on student's achievement at the State Islamic High School of Palopo. This quantitative descriptive research conducted at State Islamic High School of Palopo, especially class XI IPA. The population consisted of 65 students, and the instruments used were questionnaires and interviews. The study results found no impact between accessing Facebook on the learning achievement of class XI State Islamic High School of Palopo students, evidenced by the calculated r-value of the variable accessing Facebook of 0.191 with a significance value of 0.280. Therefore, the calculated r-value is smaller than the r table (0.191 < 0.339) and the significance value (p) is greater than the 5% significance level (0.280 > 0.05). The existence of activities to access Facebook for students of State Islamic High School of Palopo with internet social media can also maintain student learning achievement.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kemampuan siswa sekolah menengah pertama mengapresisasi puisi melalui strategi strata. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan pemaparan data kualitatif. Data terdiri atas data perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi yang bersumber dari guru, siswa, dan proses pembelajaran. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, analisis dokumentasi, dan wawancara dalam dua siklus. Data yang diperoleh ditelaah dan direduksi berdasarkan masalah diikuti penyajian data dan diakhiri suatu penyimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata hasil belajar yang dicapai pada siklus pertama pada pemeriksa pertama yaitu 81,05 sedangkan pada pemeriksa kedua 78,53. Hasil nilai siklus pertama ini masih ada lima orang siswa mendapatkan nilai yang tidak memenuhi KKM. Pada siklus kedua, nilai rata-rata hasil belajar yang dicapai, yaitu pemeriksa pertama 89,44, sedangkan pada pemeriksa kedua, yaitu 89,35. Pada siklus kedua semua siswa mendapatkan nilai memenuhi standar KKM.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the type of learning, achievement and the relationship between the type of learning and student achievement in FTIK IAIN PAlopo students. The population in this study were all students and lecturers of FTIK IAIN Palopo. For this reason, the "Area probolity sampling" technique used in this study by setting classes A and B as a sample of 50 students. The results showed that the types of learning owned by the students of FTIK IAIN Palooo were visual, auditive, and combinative types. The types of learning that most FTIK IAIN Palopo students have is the combinative type (mixed). The learning achievement of FTIK IAIN Palopo students is at an adequate level, which is an average of 7 (seven). The relationship between student learning types and student achievement is a positive correlation. It is said so because the types of student learning and student achievement are not in opposite directions. The obstacles experienced in the teaching and learning process of FTIK IAIN Palopo students to achieve good performance are that lecturers and students are not yet disciplined in carrying out their duties, lecturers have not understood the types of student learning in depth, student interest in learning is still low and the lack of student modules .
