Abstract

Anti-corruption education in Islamic religious colleges aims to provide students with sufficient knowledge about the ins and outs of corruption and its eradication and instill anti-corruption values. This descriptive qualitative research with the literature study method examines various reference books, state regulations, and journals relevant to the research topic. This study captures and describes the concepts and models of anti-corruption education management in religious colleges. The student anti-corruption movement is expected to appear at the front as a driving force. Students are supported by their basic competencies: intelligence, critical thinking skills, and the courage to state the truth. This study found that there are three models of anti-corruption education at PTKI (religious universities) in Indonesia, namely 1) integrated anti-corruption education in courses, 2) integrated anti-corruption education in student activities, and 3) cultural habituation and anti-corruption character in the academic community.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: the relationship between the principal's leadership and teacher performance, the relationship between the principal's leadership and the student's character based on local culture, the relationship between the teacher's performance and the student's character based on the local culture, and the relationship between the principal's leadership and the student's character based on local culture through teacher performance. This research is a quantitative research with a correlational design. The research approach is a managerial, pedagogical, sociological, and psychological approach. The data collection instruments used were questionnaires, observation guidelines, interviews, and documentation. Research data analysis is by using editing, coding, and tabulating. The results of data analysis show that there is a significant influence of principal leadership with teacher performance, principal leadership with student character based on local culture, teacher performance with student character, and principal leadership with student character based on local culture through teacher performance with a significance value of 0.000 0.05 which means Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. The results of the data are significant: there is a significant relationship between the principal's leadership variable and teacher performance; there is a significant relationship between the principal's leadership variable and the student's character; There is a significant relationship between the teacher's performance variable and the student's character; there is a relationship between the principal's leadership variable and the student's character through teacher performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Kompetensi Sumber Daya Manusia dan Kemampuan Pemanfaatan Teknologi terhadap Kinerja Aparatur Desa Pada Kantor Kepala Desa di Kabupaten Gunungkidul, Yogyakarta. Metode yang digunakan adalah explanatory research dengan teknik analisis menggunakan analisis statistik dengan pengujian regresi, korelasi, determinasi dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian ini Kompetensi Sumber Daya Manusia berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kinerja Aparatur Desa sebesar 41,5%, uji hipotesis diperoleh t hitung > t tabel atau (10,045 > 1,977). Kemampuan Pemanfaatan Teknologi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kinerja Aparatur Desa sebesar 42,7%, uji  hipotesis diperoleh t hitung > t tabel atau (10,285 > 1,977). Kompetensi Sumber Daya Manusia dan Kemampuan Pemanfaatan Teknologi secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kinerja Aparatur Desa dengan persamaan regresi Y = 6,025 + 0,391X1 + 0,461X2. Kontribusi pengaruh sebesar 57,3%, uji hipotesis diperoleh F hitung > F tabel atau (94,626 > 2,670).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the breaststroke swimming drill method on the peak expiratory flow rate in asthmatics. This study uses an experimental research method with a one-group pre-test-post-test design, which means that research activities are carried out by giving an initial test before treatment and a final test after treatment. The subject of the study was an asthmatic patient aged 12 years using the purposive sampling technique. In this study, the research instrument used was a test to determine whether or not the effect of the breaststroke swimming drill method on the peak expiratory flow rate in asthmatics. The data analysis technique used in this study is to find the average value and standard deviation, test for normality using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, Marginal homogeneity test, and hypothesis testing using Paired T-test. This study indicates a significant result of an increase in the peak expiratory flow rate through the application of the breaststroke swimming drill method in someone with asthma.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) Obtain an information system for monitoring the use of State-Owned Goods inventory at IAIN Palopo (2) The system built can be a solution in managing and monitoring the use of State-Owned Goods inventory. The type of research used is Research and Development (R & R&D), with the Waterfall Model development model consisting of five stages, namely Requirement Analysis and Definition, System and Software Design, Implementation and Unit Testing, Integration and System Testing, and Operation maintenance. The results of this study are in the form of an information system that can facilitate data management and monitoring the use of State Property at IAIN Palopo.

Abstract

Education is a fundamental factor that determines the quality of the human development index in any country. Leadership plays an essential role in many organizations, including educational organizations. Principals determine how education fosters and how teachers improve and develop students. Several factors could influence how a principal leads and manages subordinates. The principal's leadership function covers many excellent leadership functions within the educational system, including the educational administrator, educational supervisor, and educational leader. This study employed a quantitative research approach. Forty teachers participated as respondents in this research. The results showed that teachers' performance in the teaching and learning process was in the category of "very good", with indicators of preparation of learning implementation plan, implementation of learning, and evaluation/assessment of learning. As predicted by some theories and empirical findings, a good leadership practice would positively impact organizations. Like other organizations, Schools are also influenced by their leaders and how leaders function within the school system. This study shows a significant influence of the principal's leadership function on teacher performance in the teaching and learning process at the secondary school of Makassar, South Sulawesi, Indonesia, with its influence in a stable category. Many studies had documented the link between leaders' performance and their subordinates' performance as the leaders showed an optimal function so their subordinates. This trend also occurred between principals and their teachers. Teachers would show an outstanding performance as a response to the positive principal leadership in the schools.

Abstract

This study investigates the effect of a university's organizational justice and service quality on the students' perceived value of higher education institutions. Many studies have investigated the importance of customer perceived value in business. Several predictors have been identified, such as service quality and fairness in service. However, business and public sector services have distinct characteristics that define each sector. Considering the importance of education services and the role of higher education institutions, this study explored the contribution of organizational justice and service quality to students' perceived value. There were 517 students from higher education institutions who participated in the study. They were recruited through online advertisements, and the survey was completed online. The results confirmed the contribution of organizational justice and service quality to students' perceived value. The results were consistent after controlling the effect of other demographic variables (e.g., gender). This study suggested that organizational justice and service quality should be fostered in Indonesian higher education institutions. Organizational justice in higher education can instil a sense of proper educational management while service quality assures the university's high standard of services. Like other customers in business, students in higher education also expect value for their education. However, if they find injustice and poor services at their university, they will be more likely to perceive low value. This study has confirmed the application of organizational justice and quality service theory in higher education services.

Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk melihat berbagai persoalan-persoalan yang terjadi dalam membahas fisafat pendidikan Islam. Dalam tulisan ini akan membedah persoalan pendidikan pada aspek ontologi, epistimologi, dan aksiologi. Persoalan ontologi pendidikan dalam kajian filsafat pendidikan Islam terbagi atas tiga persoalan: pendidikan ber-Islam yakni mengupayakan pembimbingan, pendidikan dan pembinaan dalam mengenalkan Islam secara keseluruhan kepada peserta didik; pendidikan ber-Iman yakni mengupayakan totalitas ajaran Islam untuk ditanamkan kepada anak melalui keimanan kepada Allah swt dengan dasar-dasar iman, rukun Islam dan dasar-dasar syari’ah; dan pendidikan ber-Ihsan yakni menanamkan keyakinan suasana hati dan perilaku peserta didik untuk senantiasa merasa dekat dengan Tuhan sehingga tindakannya sesuai dengan aturan Allah swt. Persoalan epistemologi pendidikan dalam kajian filsafat pendidikan Islam adalah proses pendidikan dalam tataran sistem pendidikan Islam, yang ruang lingkupnya adalah tujuan pendidikan Islam, kurikulum pendidikan Islam, materi pendidikan Islam, metode pendidikan Islam, pendidik, peserta didik, sarana pendidikan Islam, alat pendidikan Islam, dan pendekatan pendidikan Islam. Persoalan aksiologi pendidikan dalam kajian filsafat pendidikan Islam menyangkut nilai-nilai tentang pendidikan Islam itu sendiri dengan maksud menguji dan mengintegrasikan semua nilai tersebut dalam kehidupan manusia, menjaga dan membina di dalam kepribadiannya baik yang bersifat spiritual maupun yang berwujud yang terbagi atas dua nilai utama yaitu nilai Ilahiyah dan nilai Insaniyah.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan sarana untuk memajukan semua bidang penghidupan manusia di Indonesia, baik dalam bidang ekonomi, sosial, teknologi, keamanan, keterampilan, berakhlak mulia, kesejahteraan, budaya dan kejayaan bangsa. Namun jika pendidikan nasional tidak dibarengi dengan nilai-nilai moral, norma dan aturan yang mengikat sebagai proses koreksi atas kemajuan pendidikan serta tantangan yang datang dari dalam maupun luar. Pendidikan nilai sebagai sarana untuk mengontrol, mengevaluasi, yang tidak diinginkan oleh dunia pendidikan. Kurikulum pendidikan seharusnya sesuai dengan perkembangan zaman yang berbasis kehidupan dinamis dan tidak bersifat statis menuju hakekat utama dalam pendidikan yakni memanusiakan manusia.
