Abstract

Energi listrik merupakan energi yang mempunyai peranan penting bagi kehidupan manusia, karena hampir di segala bidang energy ini digunakan. Pada sistem pembangkit mikrohidro dilakukan percobaan dengan menggunakan tiga jenis bentuk sudu turbin dengan poros vertical. Bentuk sudu merupakan merupakan salah satu variabel yang mempengaruhi putaran turbin terhadap keluaran nilai daya. Bentuk sudu lengkung nilai daya lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan bentuk sudu datar dan sudu mangkuk. Daya turbin maksimum terjadi pada pada sudu lengkung dengan nilai sebesar 1,5  Watt. Pada penelitian ini saat ini belum dapat menghidupkan lampu secara maximal, hal ini di sebabkan aliran sungai tidak begitu deras sehingga turbin tidak dapat berputar secara maximal. Sehingga tegangan yang di bangitkan hanya dapat dinaikkan hingga 5 Volt.

Abstract

The problem with this boiler is that the steam produced is not continuous, meaning that at a pressure of 1 bar, thesteam lasts for approximately 2 minutes, and the heating process of this fire-tube boiler is also prolonged, taking around 95minutes from the start until reaching a temperature of 100°C. This results in the need for more used oil as fuel. Some initialanalyses to solve these issues include increasing the heating surface area of the boiler or the combustion chamber by adding watertubes and using wood as the fuel. The objective of this research is to analyze the heating time, steam retention time, wood f uelconsumption, and efficiency before and after the modification with the addition of water tubes. The method used is experiment al.The tests conducted before modification showed a heating time of 45 minutes, and with the addition of water tubes, the heatingtime was reduced to 36 minutes. The steam retention time before modification was 4 minutes, while with the addition of watertubes, it increased to 4 minutes and 42 seconds. The total wood fuel consumption for the fire-tube boiler to reach an operatingpressure of 3 bar required 33.2 kg of wood, and after the addition of water tubes, the total consumption to reach 3 bar wasreduced to 27 kg of wood. The efficiency of the fire-tube boiler before modification at 1 bar pressure was 66.6%, at 2 barpressure 59.3%, and at 3 bar pressure 51.6%. After adding water tubes to the fire-tube boiler, the efficiency increased, with theefficiency at 1 bar pressure being 74.5%, at 2 bar pressure 68.8%, and at 3 bar pressure 62.9%. This indicates that the addition ofwater tubes can improve the boiler's efficiency.

Abstract

The maneuverability and precision of three-wheeled omniwheel robots are essential for effective navigation invarious environments. This study aims to implement a PID (Proportional-Integral-Derivative) control system on a threewheeled omniwheel robot using the arduino platform, with compass sensor data serving as the primary reference fororientation control. The omniwheel design allows the robot to move freely in any direction, making it suitable forapplications that require high flexibility and responsiveness. In this research, mathematical modeling of the robot'sdynamics was conducted to understand its behavior during movement. The PID control algorithm was implemented tomanage the speed and angular velocity of each wheel, utilizing feedback from the compass sensor to maintain the desiredheading and stability during maneuvers. The experimental setup involved various maneuver scenarios, including rapiddirection changes and navigation through complex paths. Results indicate that the integration of PID control withcompass data significantly enhances the stability and accuracy of the robot's maneuvers. The proposed control systemeffectively reduces heading error and improves response time, demonstrating its effectiveness in maintaining precisemovement under dynamic conditions. In conclusion, the combination of Arduino platform, PID control, and compassdata provides a robust solution for controlling the main maneuver of a three-wheeled omniwheel robot, particularly inapplications demanding high maneuverability and directional stability.

Abstract

Desa Pambang Pesisir adalah bagian dari wilayah Desa Teluk Pambang hasil pemekaran. Desa ini Resmi menjadi sebuah Desa melalui Surat Keputusan Menteri Dalam Negeri dan turunannya kebawah melalui Peraturan Daerah Kabupaten Bengkalis Nomor 9 Tahun 2012 . Cita – cita untuk menjadi sebuah desa, sebenarnya  telah dilakukan pertama kalinya pada tahun 2000. Desa Pambang pesisir memiliki gazebo di Pantai Madani Pambang Pesisir. Pinggiran pantai masih membutuhkan penerangan, ketersedian lampu jalan di pinggir pantai Madani Pambang Pesisir belum terpenuhi secara keseluruhan. Oleh karena itu, perlunya dibuat sistem penerangan lampu tenaga surya sebagai penerangan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan sistem penerangan di sekitar pantai tersebut, sehingga diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kenyamanan dan kemudahan beraktivitas terutama di malam har. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan, yang dibuat mampu menghasilkan penerangan lapuu untuk di tempat wisata Pantai Madani Pambang Pesisir. Hasil pemasangan penerangan yang menggunakan PLTS  ini telah diserahkan ke Desa Pambang Pesisir  melalui Sekdes Pambang Pesisir  pada tanggal 15 Oktober 2024.

Abstract

Desa Kuala Alam adalah salah satu Desa di Kabupaten Bengkalis, hingga saat ini masih bisa dan terus berupaya untuk eksis dalam mendukung terwujudnya visi Kabupaten Bengkalis salah satunya adalah terwujudnya Kabupaten Bengkalis sebagai Model Negeri Maju dan Makmur di Indonesia.  Sampai saat ini Desa Kuala Alam terus melakukan kolaborasi di berbagai bidang dengan kampus Politeknik Negeri Bengkalis demi terwujudnya visi Kabupaten Bengkalis. Melalui koordinasi bersama Direktur BUMDes Kuala Alam ada beberapa program yang harus dijalankan salah satunya menciptakan SDM Desa Kuala Alam yang komperhensip dalam berfikir dan selalu mengantisipasi tuntutan di masa depan, memiliki sikap positif, berperilaku terpuji, dan berwawasan, serta memiliki kemampuan, keterampilan, dan keahlian yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan diberbagai bidang serta sektor pembangunan.  Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilakukan adalah menciptakan SDM yang minim ilmu pengetahuan dalam hal ini adalah pemuda Desa Desa Kuala Alam yang putus sekolah dengan cara melatih dan mengasah keterampilan pemuda tersebut dibidang perawatan dan perbaikan Air Conditioner  (AC)  sehingga dapat mengubah mindset, mempunyai hard  skill  dan  soft kill  yang baik dan membuka peluang  usaha dibidang pelayanan dan jasa bagi pemuda tersebut.

Abstract

Manual motorcycle emission inspection often leads to inconsistent interpretation due to operator dependency. This study developed a motorcycle emission testing system using multi-gas sensors, consisting of ZE07-CO for CO, an infrared CO₂ sensor for CO₂, TGS2602 for VOC, and O₂ I2C DFRobot for oxygen concentration, integrated with an ESP32 microcontroller. Sensor data are transmitted in real-time via Bluetooth to a computer for processing and visualization on a graphical user interface. The measurement ranges were adjusted to match actual exhaust gas characteristics: CO 0–5000 ppm, CO₂ 0–50000 ppm, VOC 0–500 ppm, and O₂ 0–5%. Emission level classification was performed using the Mamdani fuzzy logic method with three triangular membership functions for each parameter and three output categories: low, medium, and dangerous. Tests on nine motorcycles showed four units classified as low emission (CO <1000 ppm; O₂ >2.4%), three as medium (CO 1100–2500 ppm; O₂ 1.5–2.0%), and two older vehicles classified as dangerous (CO >3500 ppm; VOC >350 ppm; O₂ <1%). The system successfully provides automatic and real-time emission assessment, although verification against standard emission testers and environmental compensation is required for broader practical implementation.
