Abstract

Peran benih dari perbanyakan generatif sangat besar. Benih berkualitas biasanya disediakan oleh perkebunan besar yang jauh dari perkebunan petani kecil sehingga pengiriman benih membutuhkan waktu lama. Hal ini dapat menyebabkan penurunan kualitas biji kakao. upaya untuk menjaga kualitas benih dengan perlakuan pektin desiccant dan Polyethylene glycol 6000. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pemberian bahan pengering, lama penyimpanan, dan interaksi keduanya dalam menjaga kualitas biji kakao. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Pusat Penelitian Kopi dan Kakao Indonesia, Jember. Penelitian yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) Faktorial yang diulang dua kali. Faktor pertama adalah desikan dan faktor kedua adalah lama penyimpanan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahan pengeringan memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan pada galat 1% terhadap kadar air, tingkat perkecambahan, dan indeks vigor biji kakao, dan pada tingkat 5% terhadap benih berjamur selama penyimpanan, tidak signifikan dalam Berat biji setelah disimpan. Lama penyimpanan secara signifikan pada galat 1% mempengaruhi kadar air, tingkat perkecambahan biji, dan terbukti dalam perdagangan 5% dari indeks vigor benih kakao, tidak signifikan dalam berat benih setelah simpan, dan benih berkecambah selama penyimpanan. Pengaruh kedua faktor memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan pada galat 1% terhadap kadar air, benih berjamur selama penyimpanan, perkecambahan, dan indeks vigor benih, dan tidak ada pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap berat benih setelah penyimpanan dan benih berkecambah dalam penyimpanan.

Abstract

Inventory management has an important role in a company because inventory management can decrease production cost. Economic order quantity using to minimize the production cost. Inventory management of flour in bread company Nikki Echo not been seen clearly prove by  so many booking amount. It can giving addition of cost. The purpose of this research is (1) Analyzing optimal flour stock by using EOQ method in bread company Nikki Echo, (2) Analyzing reorder point raw material inventory by using EOQ method in bread company Nikki Echo, (3) Analyzing total raw material inventory cost by using EOQ method in bread company Nikki Echo. This research be held from February 20 until April 19 2018 in bread company Nikki Echo, Tanjung Pauh, Payakumbuh city, West Sumatera province. Flour stock by using EOQ method as much 17.394 kg it means the amount greater than company policy. That amount increase 79,6percents from the amount set by company. Frequency of booking less than company policy that is 7 times booking. Amount of reorder by using EOQ method is 10.251 kg with the inventory lead time for 3 days. Total inventory cost by using EOQ method as many Rp 11.445.513. This value small than total inventory cost issued by company policy. Decreasing cost amount 98percents from company policy. That cause by ordering amount reduced 33 times or same with 82,5percents from the amount before

Abstract

The concept of urban farming by using limited land in urban home gardens as agricultural land for vegetable production supports community food independence. Agricultural technology with a hydroponic cultivation system is a solution for producing healthy vegetables without chemical pesticides. The advantage of hydroponics is producing vegetables intensively. The aim of the service activity is to understand how to consume vegetables without chemical pesticides to support a healthy lifestyle and independence for urban communities in agricultural production using hydroponics. The implementation method is the extension method in the form of healthy food material without pesticides, urban farming material with hydroponic technology and demonstration methods for hydroponic vegetable cultivation. The activity was carried out in Tiakar Village, Payakumbuh City. The results of the activity obtained an increase in the percentage of community understanding of the importance of a healthy lifestyle by consuming food free from chemical pesticides, the community was able to practice cultivating healthy vegetables without chemical pesticides using hydroponic technology after being provided with education by the team.

Abstract

Increasing mustard greens production requires proper fertilization that supports plant growth and maintains soil quality. The intensive application of inorganic fertilizers over a long period of time has the potential to degrade soil quality; therefore, alternative fertilization methods using organic fertilizers, such as quail manure, are needed. This study aims to analyze the growth and yield response of green mustard, with treatments involving quail manure and NPK fertilizer. The field study design used a Randomized Block Design (RBD). The treatments in this study were: no quail manure + 100% NPK fertilizer (P0), no quail manure + 50% NPK fertilizer (P1), 10 tons/ha quail manure + 50% NPK fertilizer (P2), 15 tons/ha quail manure + 50% NPK fertilizer (P3), 20 tons/ha of quail manure + 50% NPK fertilizer (P4), 25 tons/ha of quail manure + 50% NPK fertilizer (P5), and 25 tons/ha of quail manure + 0% NPK fertilizer (P6). Each treatment consisted of four groups with 28 experimental units. The results of the observations indicated that the application of quail manure and NPK fertilizer had a significant effect on stem diameter, leaf length, number of leaves, root weight, plant canopy weight, and fresh plant weight. The 25 tons/ha + 0% NPK fertilizer treatment yielded the best results for leaf number and fresh plant weight, while the 25 tons/ha quail manure + 50% NPK fertilizer treatment yielded the highest results for plant canopy weight and was able to match the results obtained from the application of 100% NPK fertilizer. Abstract

Pakcoy plants are a type of horticulture with high economic value that has the potential to be developed. However, pakcoy cultivation is still constrained by the excessive use of inorganic fertilizers without knowing the information on use and the high price of inorganic fertilizers that have the potential to damage the structure in the soil. One alternative is the use of water hyacinth compost to increase soil fertility and reduce the use of inorganic fertilizers. This study aims to analyze the effect of the application of water hyacinth compost combined with 50% NPK on growth, production and income analysis. The research has been carried out on the practice land of the Payakumbuh State Agricultural Polytechnic in March-April 2026. The research method used a one-factor Group Random Design (RAK) with 4 levels, P0 (100% NPK), P1 (water hyacinth compost 5 tons/ha + NPK 50%), P2 (water hyacinth compost 10 tons/ha + NPK 50%) and P3 (water hyacinth compost 15 tons/ha + NPK 50%) with many replicates 6. The analysis data used ANOVA and continued with the DMRT test of 5%. The results of the study showed that the level of treatment of water hyacinth compost of 10 tons/ha + 50% NPK showed the highest yield on the growth and production of pakcoy plants and produced the highest amount of income.
