Abstract

AbstractThe research was motivated by the low learning outcomes studied economics . This is caused by several factors , among the contributing factors is the method or approach used by teachers is still conventional , less students are actively involved in the learning and assessment that is used is still assessing the results of the assessment process yet . The purpose of this study was to look at differences in student learning outcomes using the inquiry approach to learning directly in SMA Negeri 14 Padang .This research is experimental research and research design used was purposive sampling . The population in this study were all students of class XI IPS SMA Negeri 14 Padang were registered in 2013/2014 , while the samples in this study were students of class XI IPS as an experimental class 5 and class XI IPS 3 as the control class .The data analysis technique used is the t test for normal distribution of data and groups of data have a homogeneous variance . The results showed that the average learning outcomes experimental class is 89.8 while the average of the control class learning outcomes is 80.83 . Based on the analysis of the data obtained , t = 3.631 > table = 1,654 then the decision is H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted .So it can be concluded that there are differences in student learning outcomes using the inquiry approach with conventional learning , where learning using an inquiry approach to higher learning outcomes than learning outcomes using conventional learning . This study is expected to be beneficial to all parties including the school principal to socialize inquiry approach to economic studies teachers in particular , for teachers to be able to apply the approach to inquiry and research institute, and later as reference material for future research . Keywords : Inquiry Approaches and Learning Outcomes

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII MTsN Model Padang,dalam mata pelajaranIPS Terpadu (Ekonomi). Hal ini terlihat dari rendahnya nilai rata-rata ujian mid semester genapsiswa kelas VII yaitu56.47. Rendahnya hasil belajar ekonomi disebabkan oleh siswa kurang aktif dan kurang berpartisipasi dalam proses pembelajaran, siswa kurang berani bertanya dan menjawab pertanyaan guru. Salah satu usaha yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar ekonomi adalah dengan menerapkanmodel pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teasm-Assisted Individualization. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk  mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar antara penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team-Assisted Individualizationdengan model pembelajaran konvensional terhadap hasil belajar ekonomi siswa kelas VIII MTsN Model Padang. Hipotesis penelitian adalah terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa MTsN Model Padang, dalam mata pelajaran ekonomi yang diajarkan dengan model kooperatif tipe team-assisted individualization dengan model konvensional.Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimen. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa/i kelas VIII MTsN Model Padang, yang berjumlah 427 orang, dari 12 kelas yang terdaftar pada tahun ajaran 2012/2013. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara purpoosive sampling, dan terpilihkelas VIII4  sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII11  sebagai kelas kontrol.Teknik yang digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis adalah uji kesamaan dua rata-rata  dua arah  melalui uji-t. Uji t dilakukan karena data terdistribusi normal dan kelompok data mempunyai varians yang homogen.Rata- rata hasil belajar aspek kognitif pada kelas eksperimen adalah 86.33 dan pada kelas kontrol adalah 71.71. Hasil analisis data melalui uji t diperoleh, thitung = 5,103 dan ttabel = 1,67. Nilai  thitung >ttabel, yaitu 5,103>1,67 dengan  = 0.05. Keputusannya adalah H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Model pembelajaran kooperatif tipeteam-assisted individualization dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar ekonomidi kelas VIII MTsN Model Padang pada taraf kepercayaan 95 %. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar ekonomi siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe team-assisted individualization dengan hasil belajar ekonomi siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The aim of research was to know the differentiation of students’ studying result between the concept map method and the lecturing method to the X grade students of SMA Negeri 16 Padang.The type of this research was an experimental research. The population of the research was all of X grade students in SMA Negeri 16 Padang which was calculated 292 students, the sample of this research was only 73 students which was taken by using analysis technique was the Z test, before the test was given, the test was firstly tested and then the result of the was analyzed by using reability analysis, the level of difficulty and the differentiate capacity of the test. After that, to test the differentiation of students’ result, the writer used Z test with a = 0,05.The data analysis from the average result of the students’ posstest in experimental class was 81,28 with the deviation standard of 6,95 while the average posstest result for control class was 76,46 with deviation standard 5,46. from the result of hipothesis test the Z calculated = 3,29 and Z tabel = 1,96 means that Z calculated > Z tabel so that the alternative hypotesis could be accepted. It means that there were significant differentiation between students’ economic results in both experimental and control class, where the experimental class got a higher result than the control class. In this case, the differentiation was believed as the effect of the action which is given to the experimental class which was the learning process by using concept map method. To increase the students’ result in studying economics especially for X grade students of SMA Negeri 16 Padang, it is suggested to the economics teachers to consider the use of concept map method beside the lecturing method.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research was motivated by the low economic learning outcomes of students of class X of SMK N 1 Silk Academic Year 2013/2014. This is because the less active students in the learning process. This study aims to determine the differences in learning outcomes IPS Economic giving students the application of the method question and getting answer with stars learning method with a question in class X SMK N 1 Silk.This research is an experimental study. The study population is a class X student of SMK N 1 Silk academic year 2013/2014. Samples were taken by purposive sampling technique, was chosen as the experimental class Xak3 class 1 and class 2 XAk1 as an experimental class. Instrument used is a form of achievement test. Data analysis techniques to test the hypothesis is to test Z.Based on the analysis of data obtained by the average value of the experimental class 1 79.90 and an average class experiment 2 is 71.71. The results of the analysis of the data found 2,576 Zhitung value greater than 1.960 Ztabel price which means the hypothesis is accepted at significance level α = 0.05. It can be concluded that the results of social studies students with the application of the method Economics question and getting the answer giving is better than IPS Economics student learning outcomes that uses learning methods starst with a question in class X SMK N 1 Silk.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to identify and analyze on the effect of interpersonal communication in school and the confidence of the results of class X student studying economics SMK N 1 Sijunjung . The method used in this research is descriptive method associative . The study population was all students of class X which totaled 197 students . The sampling technique is using Proportional random sampling technique , the research data were collected through a questionnaire using a Likert scale that has been on test validity and reliability testing . The analysis technique used is descriptive and inductive , which consists of test for normality , heteroscedasticity and autocorrelation multicollinearity . Testing done with SPSS version 16.0. The results of this study indicate that : 1 . Interpersonal communication in schools have a significant effect on learning outcomes economy class X students of SMK N 1 Sijunjun , 2 . Belief significant effect on student learning outcomes economy class X students of SMK N 1 Sijunjung , 3 . Interpersonal Communication in school and self Belief jointly significant effect on learning outcomes economy class X SMK N 1 Sijunjung . Based on these results , it is suggested that students , teachers and school authorities to pay more attention in school anymore interpersonal communication and self belief of students in the learning process in an effort to optimize the results of class X student studying economics SMK N 1 Sijunjung .

Abstract

ABSTRACT  This study aims to analyze : 1 ) the effect of parental education on learning outcomes of students of class X in subjects Economics in SMAN 15 Padang , 2 ) the influence of independent learning on learning outcomes of students of class X in subjects Economics in SMAN 15 Padang 3) influence the level of parental education and independence against a class X student learning  outcomes in subjects Economics in SMAN 15 Padang. When the study was conducted in January 2014 . Research used in this study is a descriptive study associative . The study population was all students of class X SMA Negeri 15 Padang numbered 284 people . Sampling technique with proportional random sampling with a sample size of 99 people . Data analysis techniques : descriptive analysis and inductive analysis , namely normality test, heteroscedasticity, multikoleniaritas tes , autocorrelation test and multiple regression analysis with SPSS version 16.0. The results showed that : 1 ) there is a positive and significant effect of the level of parental education on learning outcomes of students of class X in subjects Economics based on the results of the analysis of data obtained value of t > t table ( 6.220 > 1.66 ) , there is positive and significant between independent learning on learning outcomes of students of class X in subjects Economics based on the results of the analysis of data obtained value of t > t table ( 3.517 > 1.66 ) , there is positive and significant co- operation between the level of parental education and independent learning on learning outcomes class X on economic subjects on SMAN 15 Champaign school year 2013/2014 based on data analysis of F > Ftable ( 31.678 > 3.09 ) and R Square 0.398 means the ability of a variable level of parental education and independent learning in explaining the outcome variables studied amounted to 39.80 % .Based on the research results , it is expected that parents can guide students to learn at home in order to increase learning outcomes and teachers are also expected to provide a boost for students to learn independently by providing structured tasks every meeting.

Abstract

ABSTRACT  The aims of this research to know, how far the level of parent’s education and learning outcomes influence toward interest student to continue the study to university. Types of this research is associative. The research location is in SMA Negeri 1 Koto Baru, Dharmasraya. Technique sampling using proportional random sampling to the proportion of 40 % in each class the result of sample of the research is 73 respondent with multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that : 1) The level of parent’s education have positive effect on the student’s interests  to continue their study at the college student’s of SMA Negeri 1 Koto Baru academic school year’s 2013/2014 Dharmasraya. 2) The results of study have positive effect on the students interest to continue their study at the college students of SMA Negeri 1 Koto Baru academic school year’s 2013/2014 Dharmasraya. 3) The level of parent’s education and learning outcomes are jointly have positive effect on the student’s interests  to continue their study at the college students of SMA Negeri 1 Koto Baru academic school year’s 2013/2014 Dharmasraya.

Abstract

This research was conducted at SMAN 2 Island Dharmasraya Arbor regarding the effect of study habits and students motivation toward learning difficulties accounting Class XI students of the Department of Social Sciences ( IPS ) at SMAN 2 Island Dharmasraya Arbor . The purpose of this study is to obtain empirical evidence about the influence of study habits and students motivation toward learning difficulties accounting students XI Class Department of Social Sciences ( IPS ) at SMAN 2 Island Dharmasraya Arbor The method used in this research is descriptive and causative . This research is a saturated or census sampling , where the population sampled totaling 89 students from a population of 89 students . Data habit learning ( X1 ) and motivation ( X2 ) is obtained from the results of a questionnaire or a questionnaire while studying accounting students hail of data ( Y ) views of student learning and the results of interviews with students . Analysis of the data used in this study is a descriptive analysis and inductive analysis which consists of classical assumption test , multiple regression analysis and hypothesis testing . The results of this study indicate that : 1 . Habit learning significant and positive impact on learning outcomes of accounting students XI Class Department of Social Sciences ( IPS ) at SMAN 2 Island Dharmasraya Arbor , 2 . Motivation students learn significant and positive impact on learning outcomes of accounting Class XI students of the Department of Social Sciences ( IPS ) at SMAN 2 Dharmasraya Arbor Island , 3 . habit learning and student motivation jointly significant effect on the results of Class XI students studying accounting Department of Social Sciences ( IPS ) in SMA 2 Island Dharmasraya Arbor . students in the learning process in an attempt to further optimize the learning outcomes of accounting students of class XI of SMAN 2 Island Dharmasraya Arbor . From the results of hypothesis testing can be concluded that the habit of learning and student motivation significantly influence accounting student learning outcomes , meaning that the higher the higher the habit of learning and motivation to study the learning result will be higher , with increased learning outcomes obtained by students means students could conquer the learning outcomes that it faces .Â
