Abstract

Generally, modeling poverty aims to obtain the best criteria for assessing poverty status. There are two approaches to model the factors that affect poverty, namely consumption approach and discrete choice model. The advantage of the discrete choice model compared to the consumption approach is that the discrete choice model provides a probabilistic estimate for classifying samples into different poverty categories. This study aims to examined how the factors that affect poverty in Yogyakarta through Regularized Ordinal Regression with elastic net approach both for parallel, non-parallel, and semi-parallel models. The data used in this study is Susenas March 2018 for Yogyakarta provinces. The result of this study shows that the best discrete choice model for Yogyakarta’s modelling is the parallel model. Households that live in villages, have a large number of household members, are headed by women, have elderly household heads, have low education, and work in the primary sector tend to be more vulnerable to poverty. Therefore, a simultaneous policy with inclusive economic development is needed to reduce cross-border, cross-gender, and cross-sector inequality

Abstract

Linear regression models is used to describe relationship between dependent variable and independent variables. In a survey research, data was used often have hierarchical structure or nested structure. In this research, independent variables can be defined at any level of the hierarchy but dependent variable can only be defined at the lowest level of the hierarchy. Multilevel regression models is one of the methods can be used to analyze this data. Some authors purpose many models can be used to analyze data with hierarchical structures. Deviance as -2 log likelihood was defined as the measure goodness of fit. The difference of the deviance for two nested models was a method for comparing that two models.

Abstract

Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA), model probabilistik generatif pada sekumpulan data teks (corpus) . LDA adalah model Bayesian Hirarki , di mana sekumpulan teks dimodelkan sebagai model campuran dari berbagai topik. Dalam kontek pemodelan teks, probabilitas topik memberikan representasi eksplisit dari sebuah dokumen. Pada penelitian ini menyajikan teknik inferensi berdasarkan algoritma Gibbs Sampling untuk mengestimasi parameter Bayes dalam pemodelan dokumen dan klasifikasi teks.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis paper present a study for the number of crime that run into underreporting counts. The purpose of the analysis is to estimate parameter of the model which is the actual number of crime. The model is a mixture of the poisson and the binomial distributions developed by Winkelmann (1996). The parameters of the model are estimated by Bayesian approach and Markov Chain Monte Carlo simulation using Gibbs sampling algorithm. Determination the convergence of the algorithm using trace plot, autocorrelation plot and ergodic mean plot. In the end, estimator of the parameters of the underreported counts model are the simulation sample mean that calculated from the simulation sample of iteration after burn in period until the last iteration.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini mengkaji permodelan data tingkat kejahatan yang mengalami underreporting counts. Tujuan analisis ini adalah untuk menaksir parameter model yaitu banyaknya jumlah tindak kejahatan yang sebenarnya.  Model yang digunakan adalah hasil penggabungan antara distribusi poisson dan distribusi binomial yang dikembengkan oleh Winkelmann (1996). Penaksiran parameter model dilakukan melalui pendekatan bayes dan simulasi Markov Chain Monte Carlo menggunakan algoritma gibbs sampling. Penentuan konvergensi algoritma akan dilakukan melalui trace plot, autocorrelation plot, dan ergodic mean plot. Taksiran parameter model diperoleh dari rata-rata nilai sampel hasil simulasi yang dihitung dari iterasi setelah burn in period sampai dengan iterasi yang terakhir.

Abstract

ABSTRACT. PT. XYZ has a role as the main dealer of motor X in West Java with marketing area in three cities: Bandung, Bekasi and Cirebon. The company survey always held every year about Brand Awareness & Image to users and non user motor X to know the characteristics of consumers. Based on the company report survey there was a decrease in the indicators of Top Of Mind Unit in Cirebon City for the user of 30.8% and for non users of 9.8%. This study aims to determine the characteristics that cause the decline of the Top Of Mind Unit based on the configuration of user characteristics and non user motor X in Cirebon City by using Configural Frequency Analysis (CFA). From the results of data analysis can be seen that there are three configurations of user characteristics and non users that deviate from the base model is formed. These three configurations can be considered in determining the marketing strategy to maintain and improve the Top Of Mind Unit in Cirebon City.

Abstract

Poverty is one of the problems that becomes concern in all countries. In Indonesia, one of the provinces that has high poverty rates is Jambi (9.12% in 2015).Result of coordination meeting of all Camat in Jambi Province, reported that the Tabir Barat is the poorest sub-district. The condition is caused mostly by inadequate household infrastructure. Therefore it is necessary for grouping households based on the household infrastructure condition to find the household groups which should be prioritized in the development of poverty alleviation. To describe the poverty variable based on household infrastructure, Bappeda uses 9 indicators, that are residential building status, the widest type of floor, the widest type of wall, the widest type of roof, drinking water source, defecation facility, stool drainage, main lighting and cooking fuel. Because of the folowing reasons: the poverty is an unmeasurable latent variable, and indicators of poverty are categorial variables, the Latent Class Cluster analysis were used in this research as a grouping method. The result shows that there are 5 clusters / latent classeswith their respective characteristics of the household in the Tabir Barat.

Abstract

Aplikasi pemodelan spatial ekonometrik dalam berbagai bidang ilmu semakin banyak khususnya dalam ruang lingkup spatial regional dan spatial epidemiologi. Metode ini berkembang karena kemampuan metode ini mengakomodasi adanya ketergantungan spatial dalam data. Analisis ekonometrik biasa tidak mampu memberikan hasil yang baik pada saat data tidak berdistribusi independen. Metode Maksimum likelihood adalah metode yang umumnya digunakan untuk menaksir parameter model spatial econometrics. Namun metode ini tidak cukup baik dalam mengestimasi parameter model pada saat unit spatialnya sangat banyak. Metode alternative Bayesian diperkenalkan untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut. Penelitian ini mengkaji pendekatan metode Bayesian pada model Spatial Autoregresive (SAR). Model SAR merupakan satu dari delapan model spatial ecokometrik yang paling banyak digunakan. Abstract

Organizing the facilitation of local revenue tasks and public services is one of the main tasks, functions, detailed unit tasks, and work procedures of the West Java Provincial Revenue Agency. One of the public services for the community in improving service to the West Java community is to launch an e-samsat innovation in providing annual Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB) payment services and updating ownership status through an Android-based smartphone application called Samsat Mobile Jawa Barat (SAMBARA) and can be downloaded for free on the Google Play Store. Service satisfaction is an important aspect in service development, therefore research was conducted. This study analyzes the sentiment of the Samsat Mobile Jawa Barat (SAMBARA) application on the Google Play Store by categorizing user reviews into three groups: Positive, Negative, and Neutral. The method chosen is the Bidirectional Gated Recurrent Unit (BiGRU). BiGRU is able to predict user reviews with an accuracy of up to 87.37%, which is considered good and can be used to help the development of service applications in West Java.
