Abstract

This research aims to build a model of interpretation media design as an effort to improve the experience of visiting tourists with the appeal of cultural tourism. The design of interpretation media in this research, including; Interpretation board design, interpretation path design in three-dimensional (3D) form, slide show design in the gallery entrance area. Research location at Galeri 16 - Indonesian Bamboo Society, which was pioneered by Drs. Anang Sumarna Dipl.Tourism (Alm) 45 years ago. The interesting phenomenon in the presentation of a collection of displays that do not have the medium of interpretation as an information provider of a cultural tourism attraction. The results of documentary studies and interviews with visitors concluded that the experience of visiting Galeri 16 - Indonesian Bamboo Society had difficulty understanding information from each collection of displays, according to the context which in fact museums such as Galeri 16 - Indonesian Bamboo Society must be able to provide an interpretation of the function or meaning of collection objects. In other words, it is necessary to design several media interpretations as a facility for tourists in order to improve the tourist experience when traveling in the Galeri 16-IBS.

Abstract

Revolusi industri 4.0 merupakan fenomena yang mengkolaborasi antara teknologi cyber dengan konsep penerapannya tidak memerlukan tenaga kerja manusia dalam aplikasi prosesnya. Pemasaran di dunia bisnis pariwisata dengan menggunakan teknologi akan sangat membantu penyedia jasa memberikan gambaran produk terhadap calon klien mereka. Digitalisasi media yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pemasaran ini harus dilakukan secara efesien dan efektif,oleh karena itu dalam penelitian ini e-marketing diangkat sebagai topik karena dinilai sebagai salah satu cara aksi pemasaran yang dapat membantu berperan dalam promosi pariwisata. Dengan bermunculan atraksi dan daya tarik wisata yang baru dan menarik di kota Bandung, apakah akan berdampak pada motivasi kunjungan wisatawan ke Saung Angklung Udjo. Abstract

Keindahan panorama pan- tai dan kekayaan terum- bu karang menjadikan Tanjung Lesung sebagai ka- wasan ekonomi khusus (KEK). Namun, belum banyak yang tahu Tanjung Lesung memiliki kekayaan pulau selain Pulau Umang. Pulau ini adalah Pulau Liwungan. Abstract

Indonesia, situated within the Pacific Ring of Fire, faces a high susceptibility to seismic activity. This geographical vulnerability presents significant challenges for the tourism sector, especially concerning supporting infrastructure such as hotels, resorts, tourist bridges, and public facilities. Tourist safety is not only a primary concern but also a critical element in achieving sustainable tourism development. This study explores the application of earthquake-resistant structural concepts in tourism infrastructure construction, emphasizing technical planning aspects and their relevance to destination sustainability. The methodology includes a literature review of earthquake-resistant building standards (SNI 1726:2019 and international regulations), case study analysis of tourism areas vulnerable to earthquakes in Indonesia, and an evaluation of the integration of civil engineering principles with sustainable tourism development. The findings indicate that implementing earthquake-resilient engineering not only enhances safety but also supports long-term cost efficiency, environmental protection, and improved tourist comfort. Therefore, developing earthquake-resistant tourism infrastructure is a vital strategy for maintaining Indonesia’s competitiveness in the global tourism market

Abstract

The Training on the Development of Cultural Heritage Interpretation, Virtual Reality, and English in World Heritage Tourism Darajat Pass Web-based with AI-Chatbots for Tourism is a strategic effort to increase the capacity of local human resources and the competitiveness of the tourism sector in Karyamekar Village, Pasirwangi District, Garut Regency, West Java. Darajat Pass, located in Garut Regency, West Java, is a tourist destination with great natural and cultural potential, but still faces some fundamental challenges in its development. This training activity aims to equip MSME actors and farmer groups through an integrated training program that focuses on increasing the capacity of human resources through three main aspects: cultural heritage interpretation, tourism English proficiency, and the use of web-based technology, Virtual Reality (VR), and AI-chatbots. The training methods used include blended learning and participatory and question and answer and discussion. This training not only increases the confidence of participants, but also strengthens the readiness of Darajat Pass as a more competitive and friendly tourist destination for foreign tourists. It is hoped that this program will not only answer the three main needs of modern tourism—namely cultural interpretation, language mastery, and digitalization—but also have the potential to strengthen the competitiveness of the Darajat Pass as a technology-based cultural heritage tourism destination.
