Abstract

Humans are composed of various dimensions, namely physiological, psychological, sociocultural and spiritual. When sick, all these dimensions are affected. Therefore, nurses must be able to provide holistic nursing care. Holistic nursing care views the spiritual part of the service that must be fulfilled because meeting spiritual needs has the impact of accelerating the patient's healing process. Spiritual nursing care can be implemented if the nurse has spiritual care competence. Spiritual upbringing is influenced by various things including beliefs and values, skills, experience, personality characteristics, motivation, emotional issues, intellectual abilities and organizational culture. The purpose of the study was to determine the factors related to the competence of nurses' spiritual care. The research design used was descriptive correlation with cross sectional approach. The population in this study were clinical nurses in Bantul, Yogyakarta. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, obtained a sample of 71 respondents. Data collected with spiritual care knowledge and motivation questionnaire, Daily Spiritual Experience Scale (DSES), spiritual care competen scale (SCCS) and than analyzed by Kendall’s Tau. The results of the study were that the majority of nurses had knowledge of high spiritual care 60 respondents (82%), high spirituality 43 respondents (59%), moderate motivation 39 respondents (54%) and moderate spiritual care competence 48 respondents (6%). The variable most related to spiritual care competence is the spirituality of nurses with a p-value of 0.000.

Abstract

Covid 19 merupakan wabah yang tersebar dan disebabkan oleh infeksi virus SARS-Cov-2. Gangguan Kesehatan yang ditimbulkan oleh Covid 19 ini mengakibatkan gangguan pernafasan. Upaya pencegahan penularan Covid 19 dapat dilakukan dengan meningkatkan pengetahuan, salah satu cara peningkatan pengetahuan dengan penyuluhan/Pendidikan Kesehatan. Tujuan Kegiatan ini untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan sebagai upaya pencegahan penluaran Covid 19 di Dusun Mertosanan Wetan RT 10, Potorono, Banguntapan, Bantul. Kegiatan abdimas ini dilakukan secara online, sebelum dilakukan Pendidikan Kesehatan dilakukan postes dan dilakukan postes dia kahir kegiatan Pendidikan Kesehatan. Setelah dilakukan penyuluhan tentang pencegahan covid 19 terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan pada masyarakat di Dusun Mertosanan, sebelum dilakukan penyuluhan 15 orang (60%), 10 orang (40%) setelah dilakukan penyuluhan pengetahuan tentang pencegahan Covid 19 meningkat semua responden dengan nilai kategori baik 25 orang (100%). Kegiatan abdimas yang dilakukan dengan Pendidikan Kesehatan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan pencegahan Covid 19.

Abstract

Public Health is the resultant from an balance of individual, agent, and environment problems. Individual knowledge and the ability to adapt to the environment vary greatly. The individual awareness and sensibility towards surroundings will contribute to the public health status. Environmental factor in the raining season with high intensity of rainfall cause some risks such as flood. It can be a disaster and destroy the facilities in the area. This can be a transmission media, a new habitat of insects for certain disease, one of them is Leptospirosis. The condition after flood with low level of clean water facilities can make these bacteria live and reproduce, with warm temperatures, neutral pH of water, humidity and also high rainfall. Leptospirosis cases in Indonesia are sufficiently high which in 2019, there are 845 cases with mortality rate for 16.26%. Some factors may affect the number of the case. This research is aimed to know the factors related to the preventive behavior of leptospirosis. It was held in Public Health Center Berbah Yogyakarta. The method of research is quantitative research with design survey method, quasi experiment. The population is the clients visiting to Public Health Center Berbah, with the average number of clients coming are 200 clients/day. The sample is taken by accidental sampling to the clients with the number of daily visits (50 persons). The result shows, that of five analyzed factors, knowledge is the factor related to the preventive behavior of leptospirosis.
