Abstract

[The Use of Indonesian Language (Word) in the Official Letter / Outgoing Mail of Kesiman Kertalagu Village, East Denpasar Sub District, Denpasar] This research entitled "The Use of Indonesian Language (Word) in the Official Letter / Outgoing Mail of Kesiman Kertalangu Village, East Denpasar Sub District, Denpasar". The use of Indonesian, especially the use of the word in the official / official letter out of Kesiman Kertalangu Village, Denpasar Timur Sub-district, Denpasar, still found some errors. In this study, which is the object of study, namely regarding the misuse of the word. Observation methods and note-taking techniques are used in data collection, descriptive synchronic qualitative methods are used to analyze data aided by inductive or deductive techniques, while informal methods are used to present results. In this study found several types of word usage errors. The types of word usage errors include: 1) preposition writing, 2) hypercorrect word writing, and 3) improper use of words.

Abstract

[Title: Phrase in Indonesian Language] Indonesian language has a very important position in the Republic of Indonesia. The first position as the national language (October 28, 1928) and the second position as the state language (Chapter XV, article 36 of the 1945 Constitution). The development and founding of Indonesian language is continuously carried out in various ways. Phrase research as one of the elements in the sentence is a real form in the context of developing and fostering Indonesian language. This study aims to describe phrase in Indonesian which includes the notion of phrase, characteristics of phrase, and syntactic functions occupied by phrase. The theory used in this research is Structural theory developed by Ferdinand de Saussure. His views on language as the object of research can be concluded in the form of dichotomies as follows: (1) diachronic study and synchronic analysis, (2) langue and parole, (3) significant and signified, (4) syntagmatic relationships and paradigmatic relationships. Data was collected by observation / observation method which was assisted by note-taking techniques. Data were analyzed by distribution method and synchronous descriptive method which was assisted by substitution and permutation techniques. The presentation of the results of the analysis was done by informal methods with inductive and deductive techniques.

Abstract

This study is entitled "Mixing Indonesian Language Codes in Advertising Discourse". The use of Indonesian in discourse advertisements has taken place in another language, namely local languages and foreign languages. This study examines the factors that cause code mixing, the types and forms / forms of code mixing, and the social meaning that is caused by the code mixing. The study uses the method of observation (observation) and data collection techniques, descriptive qualitative methods used in analyzing data, and informal methods used to collect the results of the analysis. In this study found two kinds of mixed codes, namely mixed codes into local languages (Balinese and Javanese) and mixed codes out of English. The shape and form of the code that is found is a mixture of code in the form of words, namely nouns, verbs, adjectives and adverbs. In addition to the form of words also found a mixture of code in the form of phrases, namely nominal phrases, verbal phrases, and prepositional phrases. There are two causes of code mixing in discourse, namely intralinguistic factors and extralinguistic factors. The code mixing events in the discourse are related to the language and social background, so that social meaning arises due to the code mixing behavior. Social meaning that emerges, shows more educated, shows social class, shows creativity, and shows the practical and regionalism.

Abstract

The Indonesian language has particle category used to explain the meaning of aspectual verbal. The aspectual particle can support various aspects, such as (a) perspective, that is the aspect referring to an overview of events as a whole (complete situation), and (b) Imperfective, namely aspects that describe imperfect events (incomplete situations). This study aims to find markers of morphological aspects that determine the types of aspects in Indonesian. Observation methods and note taking techniques were used in data collection, synchronic descriptive methods were used to analyze data assisted by inductive or deductive techniques, while the presentation of analysis results used informal methods, namely methods of presenting the results of the analysis using the formulation of words. In this study, ten types of aspects were found, namely durative, frequentative, inkoative, perfective, futurative, iterative, habituative, momentant, spontaneity, and indeterminative aspects. Morphological aspect markers that determine the appearance of the types of aspects in Indonesian are affixation (affixation), repetition (reduplication), and compounding. Abstract

The Unda River watershed (DAS) is located 1 kilometer in the east of Klungkung city. The Unda watershed is derived from 7 rivers, namely: Telagawaja River, Sah River, Masin River, Mangening River, Krekuk River, Barak River and Bajing River. The upper limit (north) of the Unda River is Telagawaja River including the Selat Village, Klungkung District while the downstream (south) of this river in Banjar Karangdadi and Banjar Pesurungan are in Kusamba Village, Dawan Disctrict. Due to a lot of water springs from the upper of this river, so The Unda watershed have never dried up till now. In the Unda watershed has a lot of stones and sand after the eruption of Mount Agung on February 18, 1963, the people along of this river got a lot of life. Likewise, Balinese women do not want to be left behind with men doing activities in the Unda watershed. Balinese women are known for their friendliness, faithfulness, diligent, perseverance, patience and tenacity. Based on this situation, Balinese women help make a living and other jobs. The equality of Balinese women in the Unda river with men can be seen by: excavation C, namely digging for sand and stone, shop business, money loan, religious ceremony, raising, planting flower and vegetable and washing.

Abstract

The UNDA River watershed is located in Klungkung Regency, Bali. The Unda Watershed is located 1 Km in the east of the Amlapura City and 40 Km from Denpasar City. The local people call the Unda River watershed by Yeh Unda or Tukad Unda. The Unda River watershed has a depth of 80 cm to 1 meter, a width of 77 meters, a height of 75 meters with a river length of 24.400 meters with a water discharge ranging from 5.422 to 7.390 liters/second. This river is almost never dry because it originates from seven rivers such as: (1) Barak, (2) Bajing, (3) Mangening, (4) Krekuk, (5) Telagawaja, (6) Sah, (7) Masin. The upstream boundary is Telagawaja River and the downstream boundary ends at Banjar Karangdadi and Banjar Pesurungan in Kusamba, Dawan District, which directly empties into the sea, namely the Badung Strait. Before the Agung mountain erupted on February 18th, 1963, Balinese women’s activities in the Unda River watershed were agriculture. However, after the eruption the activities changed to excavation, opening stalls, raising cattle, selling sajen, flowers, incense, matches for religious ceremonies, planting bananas, papaya, and jackfruit. The routine activities that still survive in the Unda River watershed to this day are, such as: bathing, washing, and religious activities. This signifies that many opportunities for Balinese women is to carry out various kinds of business activities in this river. Keywords: Unda watershed; activity; Balinese women

Abstract

Daerah Aliran Sungai (DAS) Unda tidak asing lagi untuk daerah Bali Timur khususnya untuk Kabupaten Klungkung. Masyarakat Klungkung menyebut sungai ini dengan nama Tukad Unda atau Yeh Unda. Daerah aliran sungai (DAS) Unda bersumber dari 7 (tujuh) buah sungai sehingga hampir tidak pernah kering sepanjang tahun. Sungai tersebut antara lain: (1) Sungai Telagawaja, (2) Sungai Barak, (3) Sungai Sah, (4) Sungai Mangening, (5) Sungai Masin, (6) Sungai Krekuk, dan (7) Sungai Bajing. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menerapkan metode kualitatif. Pengumpulan data diambil dengan pengumpulan data primer dan pengumpulan data sekunder. Kemudian, data tersebut direduksi, disajikan dan disimpulkan. Oleh karena itu, banyak orang melakukan kegiatan di sungai ini, khususnya untuk laki – laki. Kegiatan di sungai ini seperti: mencari mata pencaharian hidup berupa membuka usaha mencuci kendaraan, membuka usaha kerajinan batu dan beton, membuka usaha arum jeram serta restoran, juga galian c. Di samping itu, sungai ini juga dimanfaatkan oleh laki – laki untuk keperluan upacara agama serta kegiatan memancing untuk mencari kesenangan atau hiburan. Ini menandakan laki – laki di daerah aliran sungai (DAS) Unda juga berperan aktif membuka peluang – peluang yang ada untuk mengembangkan usahanya pada masa yang akan datang.
