Abstract

This essay discusses the philosophy of education according to Paulo Freire, specifically methodology in the education process. The main question deals with the contribution of Freire's thought to the education system in Indonesia. Through literature review, the author underlines the concept of education as a process of liberation. Education is no longer regarded as a transfer of knowledge, but a process of change to create social structures that are more just and humane. Freire criticizes the bank-style education model which makes the teacher the subject, while the student as an object like an empty box to be filled. According to Freire, education should be developed as problem-posing education, namely education that aims at posing and discussing actual problems. It can be the main inspiration for the education system in Indonesia. This approach allows students to freely and creatively recognize their abilities and the reality of the problem objectively-contextually and respond appropriately to problems by creating productive and changing-oriented works.

Abstract

Rekrutmen tenaga pendidik (guru) dalam dunia pendidikan adalah sesuatu yang sangat penting dan karena itu termasuk dalam manajemen pendidikan. Guru adalah modal dan kekuatan utama bagi keberhasilan pendidikan. Kualitas guru yang baik memberi jaminan yang besar bahwa para siswa akan mendapat pengajaran yang baik, dan akhirnya tujuan pendidikan akan tercapai. Artikel ini memuat serangkaian upaya yang sistematis untuk merekrut guru yang berkwalitas. Oleh karena itu artikel ini berjudul ‘Manajemen’. Langkah awal yang perlu ditegaskan bagi suatu tindakan rekrutmen adalah perencanaan, yang kemudian diikuti dengan proses rekrutmen yang teratur dan terarah. Bilamana prosesnya berjalan dengan baik dan didukung dengan kelengkapan admnistrasi, maka besar kemungkinan bahwa guru-guru yang direkrut akan sesuai dengan kebutuhan sekolah.

Abstract

The essay deals with Word of God as source of liturgical spirituality This paper aims to discover the spirituality of the Eucharistic celebration based on a biblical-liturgical analysis of the Emmaus Story (Luke 24:13-35). If we reconstruct the Emmaus story from a liturgical perspective, specifically the Eucharistic celebration, then the structure of the Eucharistic celebration becomes very clear. The biblical-liturgical analysis of the Emmaus Story shows that the Eucharist is a spiritual journey with the Risen Lord. God's presence is sometimes not recognized because we are covered by worries, anxieties, and unfulfilled hopes. The Emmaus Story also points us to two important structures of the Eucharistic celebration: the liturgy of the Word and the liturgy of the Eucharist. In the liturgy of the Word, Christ himself speaks and opens our hearts by explaining the contents of Scripture. In the Liturgy of the Eucharist, the Risen Christ allows himself to be known through the breaking of bread. The Eucharist is not only a celebration, but is directed towards the transformation of life that enables believers to become witnesses of Jesus' resurrection.

Abstract

This article discussed the hermeneutics of the liturgical reform of the Second Vatican Council. Liturgical reform has been of the most important fruits that the Second Vatican Council produced for the life of the Church. However, the liturgical reform, especially the one of ordo missae, has been one of the most debated issues in the Catholic Church since the Second Vatican Council (1962-1965) until now. The implementation of liturgical reform after the Second Vatican Council was not only welcomed with warm reception, but also with critical attitudes and even rejection. This article showed that the debates and controversies surrounding liturgical reform are rooted in different hermeneutics regarding the Second Vatican Council, and specifically regarding the Constitution of Liturgy. The problem actually arises from two conflicting and contradictory hermeneutics and interpretations. On the one hand there is a so-called hermeneutic of discontinuity and rupture. On the other hand, there is a hermeneutic of reform, or a hermeneutic of renewal in continuity with the one Church.
