Abstract

Character is very important to instill from an early age, because nowadays quite a few children grow up with global flows and intense use of gadgets. The implication of this is their character development in the future. In this program, the service activities we hold are given the theme "Growing the Character of Orphanage Children Through Educational Games", with a case study at the Ulul Azmi Orphanage, Cimahi City. This program aims to provide alternative positive activities for children so they can be free from using gadgets and at the same time refresh their minds. Character development in this activity is carried out through two main stages. First, this program targets elementary school children from grade one to grade six, with a more interactive method so that it is not boring. Second, through the medium of educational games, various moral messages can be conveyed in a way that is more interesting and easy for children of their age to understand. Thus, it is hoped that this program can help orphanage children to form positive characters from an early age.

Abstract

Banceuy Traditional Village, located in Sanca Village, Ciater District, Subang Regency, West Java, is one of the traditional villages rich in cultural values ​​and traditions. This study aims to explore how the preservation of culture and local wisdom in Banceuy Traditional Village can affect the socio-economic development of the community. With a qualitative approach and field research methods, data were collected through interviews with traditional leaders, local communities, and observations of traditional and artistic activities. The results of the study indicate that the preservation of culture and local wisdom has a positive impact on improving the economy, especially through the culture-based tourism sector and sustainable natural resource management. This study also emphasizes the importance of traditional education in ensuring cultural sustainability among the younger generation.

Abstract

Pendidikan pada dasarnya merupakan kebutuhan dan memegang peranan yang sangat penting memajukan pembangunan dan kelangsungan hidup bangsa dan negara secara lintas generasi intelektual dan kualitas tinggi. guru sebagai pendidik, Pengawas, pelatih, dan pengembang kurikulum dapat menciptakan kondisi dan suasana belajar favourable yaitu suasana belajar yang menyenangkan, rasa aman dan memberi Kesempatan bagi peserta didik untuk berpikir aktif, kreatif dan inovatif dalam penelitian berkolaborasi dalam keterampilan mereka Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil bahwa dalam membentuk karakter religius perlu harus ada adanya kerjasama dan pembiasaan dari setiap mata pelajaran termasuk mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewargenegaraan, di dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan bahwa Peserta didik harus dibiasakan dengan etika dan moral untuk menghormati guru artinya apa pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan menjelaskan apa saja yang boleh dilakukan peserta didik dan apa saja yang tidak boleh dilakukan oleh peserta didik seperti peserta didik harus dibiasakan berkata jujur ketika pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan sedang berlangsung ini dimaksudkan agar peserta didik terbentuk rasa jujur di setiap tempat dan dimana saja, didalam pembelajaran PPKn peserta didik juga dibiasakan berdoa sebelum pembelajaran baik itu pada jam pertema, kedua, ketiga atau jam terakhir hal ini agar peserta didik dapat terbiasa bahwa setiap yang akan kita lakukan harus melibatkan Tuhan YME

Abstract

This community service program aimed to improve students’ sense of responsibility in group work through the implementation of a Quantum Learning model integrated with Multiple Intelligences (MI) at SMP Negeri 23 Bandung. The background of this initiative lies in the low levels of active participation and responsibility among students during group learning activities in Social Studies (IPS) classes. The target audience included ninth-grade students and Social Studies teachers. The activities involved teacher training, classroom facilitation, and direct observation of students’ collaborative behavior. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and MI questionnaires, then analyzed thematically. The results showed a significant improvement in students’ responsible behavior, demonstrated by timely task completion, active contributions, and self-reflection on group roles. In addition, Social Studies teachers enhanced their capacity to apply adaptive learning approaches that accommodate students’ diverse intelligences. This program had a positive impact on fostering a collaborative learning culture that supports the unique potential of each learner.

Abstract

Di era pendidikan modern, pengambilan keputusan yang tepat oleh guru menjadi kunci dalam meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran di sekolah dasar. Salah satu faktor penting yang memengaruhi kualitas keputusan tersebut adalah kemampuan guru dalam menganalisis data pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kemampuan analisis data terhadap ketepatan pengambilan keputusan guru dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) di sekolah dasar wilayah Kabupaten Cianjur. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif korelasional, melibatkan 20 guru IPS kelas VI dari 10 sekolah dasar. Teknik pengumpulan data mencakup angket, wawancara, observasi kelas, dan dokumentasi. Hasil uji korelasi Pearson menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif yang signifikan (r = 0,68, p < 0,05) antara kemampuan analisis data guru dengan ketepatan pengambilan keputusan pembelajaran. Analisis regresi menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan analisis data menyumbang 46,2% terhadap variasi dalam ketepatan keputusan. Temuan kualitatif menunjukkan bahwa guru yang memiliki literasi data tinggi cenderung menyesuaikan strategi pembelajaran secara konsisten, sedangkan guru dengan literasi rendah lebih mengandalkan intuisi. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya penguatan pengambilan keputusan berbasis data dalam rangka meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran IPS. Sekolah disarankan memberikan pelatihan teknis dan dukungan teknologi bagi guru dalam pengolahan data siswa

Abstract

This study aims to examine the quality of life within traditional communities in West Java by highlighting the role of local wisdom as the main framework shaping social, cultural, economic, and environmental well-being. The research focuses on three traditional villages: Kampung Pulo in Garut, Kampung Naga in Tasikmalaya, and Kampung Kuta in Ciamis. A qualitative approach was employed, using data collection techniques such as observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The findings reveal that despite limited access to modernization, the quality of life in these communities remains preserved through local wisdom values such as mutual cooperation, environmental preservation, social solidarity, and adherence to customary norms. Local wisdom serves as a strong social capital that sustains the communities in a sustainable manner. This study recommends the protection and empowerment of indigenous communities as an essential part of fair and sustainable development efforts.
