Abstract

Tradition Ketek Cor implies the meaning and symbols used in its implementation. In addition, Ketek Cor tradition can be a liaison for transcendent communication between the community and Ida Bhatara Dalem Tegal, this shows the occurrence of harmony between religious and social life in the Tegal Darmasaba Traditional Village community. Based on the above background, the purpose of this research is why the cast armpit tradition is still being implemented. In connection with this, there are several theories that are used as a guide in reviewing research problems, including: Structural Functional Theory, Communication Theory of symbolic Interactionalism perspective and System theory. The ketek cor tradition is still being carried out today, namely as a means for the people of Tegal to communicate the history of the ketek cor tradition. The implementation of the ketek cor tradition can also harmonize the relationship with Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa of the Tegal community, namely the existence of the cast iron tradition is able to foster a sense of sradha and devotion to the Tegal community, as a form of gratitude, as a form of worship, as an expressive function of the community.

Abstract

The Ketek Cor tradition is carried out from generation to generation by people in Tegal Darmasaba Traditional Village, Of course, there will be shifts following by times and technology, but the people of the Tegal Darmasaba Traditional Village do not dare to leave there's tradition. The Ketek Cor tradition is a strong necessity so that in the implementation of this tradition there is interaction between people, how was living out of the Tegal Darmasaba Traditional Village with residents who still live in the Tegal Darmasaba Traditional Village. In addition, Ketek Cor tradition can also be a communication link between people's and Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa, this shows that there is harmony between religious and social life in the Tegal Darmasaba Traditional Village community. The results obtained from this study are the cast armpit tradition is full of functions as communicating the meaning of religiosity, the function as communicating the social meaning of society, and the function as communicating economic meaning. From this tradition there is harmony between religious and social life in the Tegal Darmasaba Traditional Village community.

Abstract

The Nangun Sat Kertih Loka Bali program encompasses the arrangement of the Besakih Temple area in the construction of parking facilities, kiosks, sanitation facilities, and other suitable amenities in the Besakih Temple area. The kiosks built in the arrangement of the Besakih Temple area aim to facilitate traders who sell within the temple grounds, thus enhancing the local economy and regulating unauthorized vendors in the Besakih Temple area. The current challenge faced by the government is relocating these vendors away from the temple area and asking them to move to designated locations. Naturally, this relocation process has met with strong protests from the vendors, necessitating effective communication strategies by the government to achieve the desired outcomes. The objectives of this research are to describe the communication strategies and the implementation of communication strategies employed by the Temple Management in the effort to relocate vendors in the Besakih Temple area. The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive. The results of this research include: 1) The government conducted research to identify the issues arising from the vendor relocation. 2) The government formulated a communication plan, which includes: (a) Sending messages or notifications to the vendors. (b) Selecting the appropriate communication channels. (c) Establishing an integrated team as communicators. (d) Collecting feedback from both parties. 3) During the relocation implementation phase, several issues were identified, including: (a) Resistance from some vendors. (b) Reduced visitors in the Bencingah Area. (c) Some vendors expressing satisfaction with the relocation. (d) Reduced traffic congestion during the Karya Betara Turun Kabeh ceremony. (e) Besides constructing vendor kiosks, free transportation, selfie spots, parking areas, public toilets, and meeting halls were provided. 4) The evaluation phase includes: (a) Resistance from vendors to relocation. (b) The community parking area has not been fully utilized
