Abstract

ABSTRACTThe main partner problem is the partner's low knowledge and skills in computational thinking. The method used to solve partner problems is ASSISTANCE. The purpose of the mentoring is to improve the knowledge and skills of teachers to incorporate computational thinking knowledge into learning. The results of the assistance for approximately 4 months show that the knowledge and skills of partners in computational thinking cannot be improved. Keywords: Training, Computational Thinking, Bebras, HOTS ABSTRAK Masalah mitra yang utama adalah rendahnya pengetahuan dan ketrampilan mitra dalam berpikir komputasi. Metode yang digunakan untuk menyelesaikan masalah mitra adalah PENDAMPINGAN. Tujuan pendapingan adalah meningkatkan pengetahan dan ketrampilan Guru memasukan pengetahuan computational thinking ke dalam pembelajaran. Hasil pendampingan selama kurang lebih 4 bulan menunjukan bahwa pengetahuan dan ketrampilan mitra dalam berpikir komputasi belum bisa ditingkatkan. Kata Kunci: Pelatihan, Berpikir Komputasi, Bebras, HOTS

Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus untuk mengkaji novel berjudul Spoiler karya Dita Safitri yang di dalamnya terdapat struktur-struktur yang dapat digali secara luas ketika diteliti. Berdasarkan dari hasil membaca novel Spoiler dipandang memiliki struktur naratif untuk dikaji. Struktur naratif yang dipilih berdasarkan teori milik Gerard Genette, di mana beliau membaginya menjadi lima kategori, yakni urutan naratif, durasi naratif, frekuensi naratif, modus naratif, dan suara naratif. Alasan memilik naratologi sebagai aspek untuk dikaji adalah karena aspek ini berfokus pada penceritaan sang penulis yang sangat penting dalam suatu karya, terlebih dalam novel Spoiler. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya urutan naratif, durasi naratif, frekuensi naratif, modus naratif, dan suara naratif yang berbentuk kata, kalimat, dan frasa. Hasil pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini berupa kata, kalimat, dan frasa, maka dari itu dipilihlahnya jenis penelitian kualitatif.

Abstract

This study examines the application of Project-Based Learning (PjBL) in chemistry learning at SMAN 1 Sreseh, with a focus on increasing motivation and understanding of concepts among students, especially Children with Special Needs (ABK: Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus). PjBL was chosen as an approach that can increase student engagement through the exploration of projects relevant to everyday life, allowing students to better understand abstract chemical concepts. The results showed that the application of PjBL could increase students' intrinsic and extrinsic motivation, with regular students experiencing a more significant improvement. Although ABK students show lower improvements, they also gain significant benefits in terms of understanding of chemistry concepts and active involvement in projects. This study confirms that PjBL is an effective learning method to increase motivation and understanding of concepts, especially for ABK students, in the context of inclusive education.

Abstract

The Tayub tradition in Tegalagung Village, Tuban Regency, is a cultural performance that combines dance, music, and symbolic language reflecting the values and identity of the local community. This study explores how verbal and non-verbal language in Tayub carries social meaning using a sociosemiotic approach. Data were collected through observation and interviews with key cultural actors, including dancers (ledhek), musicians, and elders. The analysis applies Peirce’s semiotic theory and the concept of symbolic interaction to understand how language and signs operate in Tayub performances. Findings show that Tayub functions not only as entertainment but also as a medium of communication, cultural preservation, and social bonding. Verbal elements such as song lyrics and spoken interactions convey messages of love, respect, and tradition, while non-verbal signs like gestures, costumes, and facial expressions carry symbolic meanings that reflect social roles and values. The use of language in Tayub is context-dependent and varies according to the performer, audience, and setting. This study highlights the importance of understanding traditional performances through a linguistic and semiotic lens to preserve their cultural significance and deepen appreciation of local heritage.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the meaning of signs and values ​​contained in the story of the origin of the Penti ceremony in the Wae Mbeleng community, Benteng Kuwu Village, Manggarai Regency, East Nusa Tenggara. The Penti ceremony is one of the important traditional rituals that contains various symbols and cultural values ​​as a form of gratitude to God and ancestors for the harvest and a request for protection in the coming year. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with Ferdinand de Saussure's semiotic approach, which dissects signs through the concept of signifier and signified. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the signs in the Penti ceremony, such as symbols of sacrificial animals, mantras, sacred places, and traditional foods, represent the spiritual relationship of the community with God, ancestors, and nature. In addition, values ​​such as ethics, spirituality, kinship, mutual cooperation, as well as educational and social values ​​are reflected in the practice of the ceremony. Thus, the Penti ceremony is not only a form of cultural expression, but also a means of inheriting the noble values ​​of the Manggarai community. This research is expected to contribute to the preservation of local culture and become a reference in the study of cultural anthropology and value education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang penggunaan media pembelajaran berupa video khususnya tutorial wudhu dimana dengan penggunaan media tersebut diharapkan dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berwudhu siswa kelas II SD Dahlanudin Surabaya. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen, dengan desain Pre Experimental Design dalam bentuk One-Group Pretest-Posttest Designs. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan tes lembar observasi, lembar pengamatan, lembar penilaian, dan dokumentasi. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan pretest pada awal pertemuan, treatmen menggunakan media pembelajaran video tutorial, dan posttest pada akhir pertemuan. Keterampilan berwudhu siswa kelas II SD Dahlanudin Surabaya sebelum penggunaan media pembelajaran video tutorial pada observasi awal dari 30 siswa mulai dari tahapan pertama membaca basmalah sampai pada tahapan terakhir membaca doa selesai berwudhu menunjukkan banyaknya tingkat kesalahan yang dilakukan oleh siswa. Setelah penggunaan media pembelajaran video tutorial wudhu pada observasi akhir menunjukkan adanya peningkatan dari pada sebelumnya dengan berkurangnya kesalahan gerakan wudhu yang dipraktekkan oleh siswa
