Abstract

The use of wireless communication devices with the industrial world is still not widely applied. A large part of the communication media between devices still use cable or other media in addition to wireless communication media that elaborate on its use. In this work we created a miniature communications for the delivery of goods as in PT INDUSTRI KERETA API (Persero) or so-called PT INKA. Currently in PT INKA delivery of goods is still done using a forklift or by human power. On delivery of the goods we used Raspberry as the control center of the system of delivery of goods and two (2) Arduino as clients who receive the control command for communication itself, we used xbee module as the wirelless medium. Based on the testing that consists of sending commands (character) the success rate was 90% in the overall control. Successful delivery is influenced by the xbee maximum distance and accuracy readings of the existing tools.Keyword: Communication , Movers, Control Coordination, Wireless, Train.

Abstract

Saat ini dalam pemeriksaan jantung PCG, dokter hanya dapat mendengarkan dan menggambarkan secara manual apa yang didengar oleh dokter, sehingga tida adanya nilai pasti yang dapat dijadikan patokan yang dapat memvisualisasika gambar dari keadaan jantung seseoang. Hal ini dapat menyebabkan perbedaan hasil diagnosa penyakit jantung antara satu dokter dengan dokter yang lain. Dari permasalahan yang ada, maka sangat pentingnya visualisasi dari sinyal PCG dibuat agar terjadi keseragaman visualisasi sinyal PCG dari setiap pasien dan dokter. Seperti yang telah dijelaskan, pemerikasaan jantung sangat penting dilakukan secara rutin dan terus menerus.Maka dibuatlah sebuah penelitian untuk membuat sebuah aplikasi penampilan data sinyal auskultasi jantung pada android. Dan didapatkan beberapa kesimpulan rata – rata kecepatan penampilan grafik pada marshmallow adalah 7.89 detik, sedangkan rata – rata keceatan penampilan grafik pada android versi lollipop adalah 9.58 detik. Serta, semakin banyak data juga mempengaruhi kecepatan penampilan data hal ini  dapat dilihat dari waktu penampilan 3000 data pada android lollipop adalah 7.00 detik sedangkan waktu penampilan 9000 data dapat tampil sempurna dalam waktu 15.2 detik. Sedangkan waktu penampilan 3000 data pada android Marshmallow adalah 6.36 detik sedangkan waktu penampilan 9000 data dapat tampil sempurna dalam waktu 10.75 detik. Kemampuan zoom pada aplikasi ini hanya dapat dilakukan secara vertical atau horizontal.

Abstract

It is commonly understood that air pollution brinqs detrimental effect to human health, it can cause diseases and lead todeath. Therefore, it is urgently required to monitor airborne levels continously. In this research, it monitoring system utilizing the  wireless sensor networks with cluster method. We consider that there are two clusters where every cluster head has two child nodes equipped with a CO sensor and a CO2 sensor for each node. Data from child node sent to server through parent node and each cluster head. We used the xbee radio as wireless transmision  from child node to parent node,  we used the wifi Tonylabs CC3000 module as wireless transmission  from parent to server.The result shows that delay and packet loss between child node and parent node through the xbee are aproximately 4,75 seconds and 5%, respectively. This means that the system has short delay and relatively low packet loss. On the other had the packet loss from parent node to server are relative higher than that from the child node to parent node i.e. aproximately 14,17 %, Interestingly it can achievedelay of close to zero second during transmission.

Abstract

Hydroponics is a technique of planting without using a soil as a growing medium but with the water by tapping on the nutrients requirements of the plant. Treatment methods of hydroponics generally are done by water draining nutrients after the nutrients content of the water decreases with the growth of the plant. Therefore, this study aims to help caring hydroponic plant with control methods of water automatically by using microcontroller. Microcontroller is used to read the data from TDS Sensor and control solenoid valve to control water. From the results of the testing process when the tank is empty and the system will perform filling. After the the tank is full,the system will read the nutritional value. After nutrient density is reduced, the system will perform draining .Based on test results, the system can run optimally and work 100% successfully.

Abstract

Pada penelitian Tugas Akhir ini pembuatan alat RDF memiliki ukuran dengan Panjang 37.5cm x Lebar 35cm x Tinggi 35cm yang dioprasikan pada aquarium ikan air tawar. Alat ini bekerja untuk menghasilkan outputan air yang tidak kotor dengan sisitem penyaringan mekanik, dimana air dilewatkan kedalam drum berpenyaring halus dimana object yang lebih besar tertahan dalam drum dan dibersihkan otomatis dengan cara melakukan penyemprotan air yang bertekanan pada saat drum berputar. Alat ini bekerja dengan menggunakan sensor kekeruhan (turbidity sensor).Turbidity sensor merupakan jenis sensor yang menggunakan perinsip optic dengan memperhatikan intensitas cahaya yang masuk pada air. Pada penelitian ini hasil data dari sensor akan diolah pada mikrokontroler untuk merespon moto dan pompa air, dimana  motor digunakan sebagai sistem kendali untuk melakukan perputaran pada drum dan pompa air digunakan untuk memompa air. Keyword : microcontroler ATMega16, Rotary Drum Filter (RDF), Motor DC, Turbidity sensor.

Abstract

                  A security system environment will be good if every homes in the neighborhood have a good security system. It will reduce the space for crime in the neighborhood, so that any crimes that arise can be directly detected. Therefore, it is necessary that efforts be made a serious and well coordinated security issues related to the environment.             Environmental security system implemented on Arduino microcontroller module receives data from android application that is sent via Bluetooth serial HC05. Then the data received can be sent to another node serially using XBee wireless module S2. The reading of the condition of the door is done by limit switch sensors taped to the top of the door .Result data limit switches  will be sent to the Arduino microcontroller Mega2560. The  data results in microcontroller can be transmitted to the  XBee module to be implemented in the form of flame LED and buzzer sounds.             In the test results for the implementation of this system , data transmission and reception can success  100%. And examination of  information display on the guardhouse updated from every home success rate was 74, 29%. Keyword: Environmental Security Systems, XBee S2, Bluetooth HC05, Arduino Mega 2560, Arduino UNO, Mesh Networking.

Abstract

Contrast stretching will help the thresholding to produce binary image with a better quality. Otsu threshold has very important disadvantage, in the image that has not good contrast, The Otsu method is difficult in finding the optimal threshold value to discriminate between foreground and background. Contrast stretching method is useful to stretch the contrast, so that the contrast in the image quality can be more evenly distributed simultaneously, and then can improve the appearance of grayscale images to processed into binary image. The system has an average success of 86.6907%, based on the value of the F-Measure. The output of this system is considered very good and can be used for other processes or for other purposes..keyword: contrast, images, document, threshold, grayscale, binary.

Abstract

Virtual private network (VPN) adalah suatu koneksi antara satu jaringan dengan jaringan lainnya secara private melalui jaringan public (internet). Di sebut private network karena jaringannya bersifat private dan hanya orang tertentu saja yang bisa mengaksesnya Banyak pihak-pihak perusahaan rela membayar pihak ketiga untuk menyewa VPN  agar data yang mereka kirimkan aman sampai tujuan dan menjamin QOS (Quality Of Service) agar paket yang dikirimkan diterima dengan baik.Pada pekerjaan tugas akhir ini akan dilakukan penelitian dampak turunnya QOS pada jaringan VPN dengan menggunakan protokol pada VPN yaitu Point To Point Tunneling Protocol dan Layer 2 Tunneling Procotol yang berbasis MikrotikOs. Sebelum melakukan pengujian, yang pertama dilakukan adalah mengkonfigurasi mikrotikOs dengan protokol PPTP dan L2TP yang dilakukan secara bergantian, konfigurasi username dan password untuk client. Yang kedua adalah menajalankan video streaming dari Pc server ke Pc client melalui jaringan Internet. Yang ketiga adalah menganalisi hasil dari software monitoring (Wireshark) yang dipasang pada Pc server dan Pc client untuk menghitung delay, throughput, packet loss.Hasil dari analisis pada VPN dengan protokol PPTP dan L2TP pada jaringan mikrotik dengan ISP speedy didapatkan hasil delay, throughput, packet loss tidak ada perbedaan yang terlalu besar, ini dikarenakan pada dasarnya pengiriman protokol PPTP dan L2TP hampir sama yaitu melewati cloud internet, hanya perbedaan dari sisi header L2TP lebih banyak proses enkapsulasi dibandingkan dengan PPTP,yang menyebabkan PPTP jauh lebih atau unggul daripada protokol VPN L2TP untuk segi QOS.Kata kunci : Virtual Private Network, Point To Point Tunneling Protocol, Layer 2 Tunneling Protcol, Quality of Service.

Abstract

Abstract: Nutrient is principal to the health of the toddler. When the nutrient is not fulfilled or exceed of limits, the toddler will have some trouble of healty. Health of toddler can be seen from process grow up. All this time growth monitoring of toddler using method and tools in manual, from measurement of weight and height are done in manual mode using conventional tool. By reviewing issues on top, we intend to make automatic monitoring system of toddler growth based on microcontroller. Abstract

Wireless sensor network (WSN) is a wireless network consisting of a collection of nodes that are scattered in a particular area. Each node has the ability to collect data and communicate with other nodes. However many studies showed that the WSN technology bears some drawbacks. One of the weakness is in terms of efficiency of energy utilization. Ineffectiveness of energy utilization in the WSN mainly caused by long and complex algorithms for route/path determination.In this work determination of the best route is implemented by comparing parameters, like RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indicator) for the selection of the route, by adapting mechanism in routing protocol OSPF (Open Shortest Path First). For testing the routing protocol, we used temperature data acquired from LM35 sensors. Sensors are planned and then implemented on all nodes WSN. By implementing these schemes for routing determination, the WSN is able to produce better quality of data and minimum energy usage measured for WSN with a distance of sending and receiving data between 1-40 meters for indoor setup. For outdoors environment, the study showed that the system has a range of up to 1-100 meters only. It is evident from the study, that the route is able to be established well (27 success out of 30 trials).
