Abstract

Abstrak : Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam upaya peningkatan aktivitas peserta didik pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran cooperative learning tipe STAD di kelas V C Sekolah Dasar Negeri 42 Pontianak Kota. Berdasarkan observasi awal yang telah dilakukan, dapat diketahui bahwa aktivitas belajar peserta didik masih sangat rendah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif yang berbentuk Survey Kelembagaan dan jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas V C yang berjumlah 40 orang. Teknik pengumpul data dalam penelitian ini yaitu teknik observasi langsung dan teknik pengukuran. Sedangkan alat pengumpul data ini adalah lembar observasi dan butir soal. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam 3 siklus. Secara terperinci dapat diuraikan bahwa hasil penelitian adalah sebagai berikut: (1) Terdapat peningkatan aktivitas fisik peserta didik kelas V C Sekolah Dasar Negeri 42 Pontianak Kota dari baseline sampai siklus 3 sebesar 70% yang peningkatannya dapat mencapai kriteria tinggi. (2) Terdapat peningkatan aktivitas mental peserta didik kelas V C Sekolah Dasar Negeri 42 Pontianak Kota dari baseline sampai siklus 3 sebesar 70,5% yang peningkatannya dapat mencapai kriteria tinggi. (3) Terdapat peningkatan aktivitas emosional peserta didik kelas V C Sekolah Dasar Negeri 42 Pontianak Kota dari baseline sampai siklus 3 sebesar 65% yang peningkatannya dapat mencapai tinggi. Maka dari itu, peneliti menyarankan kepada guru, khususnya guru yang mengajar mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dapat menggunakan model cooperative learning tipe STAD Abstrack : This research was conducted in an effort to increase student learning activities science using learning model cooperative tipe STAD in class 5 C Sekolah Dasar Negeri 42 Pontianak Kota. Based on preliminary observation that have been made can beside that the activities of learners are still very low. The method used is descriptive method in the form of instutional survey and research is type of class action. Subjects in the study were students of class 5 c with forty people. Techniques of data collection in this study is the techiniques of direct observation an measurement techiques. While the data collection tools is the observation sheet and the grain problem. This research was conducted in 3 cyclus. Result of this research are : (1) There is an increase in phsycal activities learner in class 5 C of Sekolah Dasar Negeri 42 Pontianak Kota from baseline up to 3 cyclus as big as 70% improvement criteria that attaind high. (2) There is an increase in menthal activities of learners from base line up to three cyclus as big as 70,5 % of that increase can rich a high criterion. (3) There is an increase in emotional activities of learners from base line up to three cyclus as big as 65 % of that increase can rich a high criterion. Thus the researcher suggest to teacher in particular science subject can use cooperative learning type STAD

Abstract

Abstrak Tanaman obat keluarga atau biasa disebut TOGA adalah berbagai jenis tanaman obat pilihan yang dapat ditanam diperkarangan rumah atau lingkungan sekitar rumah. Kurangnya pemahaman masyarakat tentang pemanfaatan dan penggunaan tanaman herbal sebagai alternatif pengobatan untuk mencegah maupun mengobati penyakit tidak menular. Tujuan dilakukannya penyuluhan tentang Tanaman Obat Keluarga adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman pada masyarakat guna penanaman tanaman obat disekitar lingkungan rumah. Metode yang digunakan meliputi survei awal untuk mengumpulkan data, persiapan dan perizinan dengan musyawarah bersama kepala desa, serta pelaksanaan kegiatan yang mencakup penyuluhan dan pelatihan pembuatan infused water dan jamu kunyit asam. Berdasarkan survei yang telah dilakukan, didapatkan hasil pre-test menunjukkan 60% pemahaman masyarakat terkait pemanfaatan TOGA, setelah dilakukan penyuluhan dan melakukan post-test terjadi peningkatan menjadi 85% pemahaman masyarakat terhadap pemanfaatan TOGA bagi kesehatan tubuh.

Abstract

This study investigates the process of translating newspaper titles from Indonesian to English. This study aims to determine the ability of students to provide equivalent titles of English-language newspapers in Indonesia. In particular, this research is expected to be able to: Overcome the difficulties currently faced by students in translating newspaper titles, showing grammatical deviations that students have in trying to translate newspaper titles, provide evidence of mechanical problems that arise. This research uses a case study approach. There were 15 newspaper headlines which were delivered to as many as 15 respondents who were sixth semester students of the English Department. The data collection method is to talk about instructions to students before starting to translate newspaper titles. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive analysis method. The data obtained is classified into several aspects of analysis including grammatical errors. The results of the analysis show that students earn a percentage depending on their abilities (application of grammar knowledge) or skills, how to translate local newspapers into English, it is true. Therefore, the researcher suggests readers or students to keep themselves busy by reading local newspapers (fajar and kompas) and in English (example: Jakarta post). In this way, they can acquire globalization knowledge and also indirectly improve their vocabulary and grammar.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the difficulties faced by students in understanding the TOEFL Reading test and to find the factors that influence the difficulties in understanding the TOEFL Reading test of English Language Education Study Program at IAIN Palopo. This research used descriptive qualitative method. The subjects of this research were 13 of the 3th semester in the English Department of IAIN Palopo in the 2023/2024 academic year. The instruments used to collect data were the TOEFL Reading test consisting of 50 questions in the form of multiple choice and an interview consisting of 5 questions. Based on the analysis of the TOEFL test results, it was found that the unstated detail question is the most difficult question faced by students and the question has been classified into the most difficult question based on the difficulty index formula. Meanwhile, the interview results show that students' opinions regarding the factors that influence the difficulty of understanding the TOEFL Reading test were lack of focus, time management, vocabulary mastery, lack of understanding of the aspects of the questions contained in the TOEFL questions, and lack of practice working on questions or taking the TOEFL test.
