Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah (1) siswa yang menggunakan pembelajaran matematika model Make A Match dapat memberikan hasil belajar yang lebih baik daripada siswa yang menggunakan model Konvensional; (2) siswa yang menggunakan pembelajaran matematika model Two Stay Two Stray dapat memberikan hasil belajar yang lebih baik daripada siswa yang menggunakan pembelajaran matematika model Konvensional; (3) siswa yang menggunakan pembelajaran matematika model Make a Match dapat memberikan hasil belajar yang lebih baik daripada siswa yang menggunakan pembelajaran matematika model Two Stay Two Stray. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas VII SMP Negeri 23 Purworejo tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 yang berjumlah 6 kelas. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah simple random sampling. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 3 kelas. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan analisis variansi satu jalan dengan sel sama. Dari uji hipotesis analisis variansi satu jalan dengan sel sama diperoleh: (1) siswa yang menggunakan pembelajaran matematika model Make A Match dapat memberikan hasil belajar yang lebih baik daripada siswa yang menggunakan pembelajaran matematika model Konvensional; (2) siswa yang menggunakan pembelajaran matematika model Two Stay Two Stray memberikan hasil belajar yang sama baiknya dengan siswa yang menggunakan pembelajaran matematika model Konvensional; (3) siswa yang menggunakan pembelajaran matematika model Make a Match dapat memberikan hasil belajar yang lebih baik daripada siswa yang menggunakan pembelajaran matematika model Two Stay Two Stray.   Kata kunci : Make A Match, Two Stay Two Stray, hasil belajar

Abstract

Abstrak : Judul penelitian ini adalah Peningkatan Aktifitas Pembelajaran Penyelesaian Soal Cerita Pada Operasi Hitung Perkalian Melalui Metode Pemecahan Masalah. Penelitian bertujuan meningkatkan aktifitas pembelajaran penyelesaian soal cerita pada operasi hitung perkalian dengan metode pemecahan masalah di SDN No 08 Mentawak Sansat Toba Sanggau yang mana guru hanya menggunakan buku pegangan guru yang kurang menarik dan penggunaan metode pembelajaran yang kurang bervariasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dan pendekatan kwalitatif dengan rancangan penelitian tindakan kelas. Subyek penelitian adalah guru dan peserta didik kelas V. Instrumen yang di gunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa lembar observai. Hasil pelaksanaan pembelajaran penyelesaian soal cerita pada operasi hitung pekalian dengan metode pemecahan masalah selalu mengalami peningkatan di setiap siklusnya yaitu pada siklus I rata-rata indikator 67,6% dan pada siklus II rata-rata indikator 88%. Kata kunci:Metode pemecahan masalah, aktifitas, pembelajaran matematika Abstrach : The title of this research is the increasing of finising learning in narrative questions of multiplication math operation by method of problem solving at SDN No. 08 Mentawak Sansat Toba Sanggau.The teachers are only have their handbook that is not interesting and they are not using variation learning method. The research method that we used are descriptive and qualitative approach by planing the class action research. The research subjects are teachers and grade 5 th students. The instruments that we used in this research this research is observatiaon sheets. The result of realization learning in narrative questions finishing of the multiplication math operation by problem solving is always increasing in each its cycle namely cycle I of indicator average is 67, 6% and in cycle II of indicator average is 88 %. Key word : The method of problems solving, activity, and math studying.

Abstract

Background: Writing is a fundamental skill in elementary education, essential for developing students’ cognitive abilities and communication. However, many Indonesian fifth-grade students struggle with explanatory text writing due to limited vocabulary, low motivation, and ineffective teaching models.Aims: This study aims to improve the explanatory text writing skills of grade V students at SDN Lawanggintung 2 through the RADEC (Read, Answer, Discuss, Explain, Create) learning model.Methods: The research employed Classroom Action Research in two cycles with 29 fifth-grade students. Each cycle included planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through writing tests, classroom observations, and documentation, and analyzed using quantitative and qualitative descriptive methods. The success criterion was set at 75% of students meeting the criteria for achieving learning objectives in Cycle I and 85% in Cycle II.Result: In Cycle I, only 58.6% of students met the criteria for achieving learning objectives, with issues in text structure, vocabulary, and mechanics. After refining the RADEC implementation in Cycle II, 93.1% of students achieved the criteria for achieving learning objectives. Students demonstrated improved organization, richer vocabulary, and better grammatical accuracy.Conclusion: The RADEC model effectively improved students’ explanatory text writing skills by fostering active participation, structured discussion, and collaborative learning. This approach is recommended for Indonesian elementary language classes to address writing skill deficiencies and support 21st-century learning competencies.

Abstract

Background: The lack of interesting and interactive teaching materials in IPAS learning in elementary schools leads to low motivation and learning outcomes of students. Teaching materials that are still dominated by textbooks have not been able to accommodate diverse learning styles.Aims: This study aims to develop interactive teaching materials supported by the Book Creator application to enhance the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students on the topic of the human respiratory systemMethods: This research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method utilizing the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) development model. Data were collected through validation questionnaires, student response surveys, learning outcome tests, and interviews.Result: The developed teaching materials received a “Very Good” category from media, material, and language expert validators. Students' learning outcomes increased from 53.3% (pre-test) to 90% (post-test) after using teaching materials.Conclusion: Teaching materials assisted by Book Creator are feasible, practical, and effective in increasing students' understanding and learning motivation on the material of the human respiratory system.

Abstract

Cervical cancer is one of the leading causes of death in women in Indonesia. Early detection through VIA (Visual Inspection with Acetic Acid) examination is an important step in prevention. However, the level of knowledge and motivation of women of childbearing age towards this examination is still low. Education through booklet media is one of the strategies that can increase understanding and encouragement to do the examination. This study used a quasy experimental method with a non-equivalent control group design approach. The Mann-Whitney test results showed a significant value of p<.001 (<0.05). which means there is a significant difference between the two groups. Education through booklet media has a significant effect on increasing the knowledge and motivation of women in conducting early detection of cervical cancer.
